I tried Superfeet based on reviews but they did not work for me. My feet became even more painful. I need a softer insert and these are very stiff and hard.

Was looking for something with arch support and cushioning. Superfeet Premium Green supplied the arch support but not the cushioning. Hard plastic support under the heel area is not comfortable.

I got these for me and my husband (he has flat feet). I don't have any problems with my feet but thought these would give me better support. My husband has pain with his flat feet after standing or walking too long. My hubby and I found these very uncomfortable. The arch extends back to the heel and hurts. I phoned Superfeet and the rep said that was a common concern but that it was part of the design to better support the heel. I wear Birkenstock, clogs and other basic supportive shoes but never orthotics in my running shoes. I just think that a shoe should feel good and supportive. These for me and my husband just hurt. Perhaps for others with different needs or foot structure they would work.

So what is the difference between these and cheaper insoles?
The price that's what. I went ahead and splurged a little extra on some pricey insoles for my work shoes and eagerly looked forward to some much needed relief for my feet. I stand on my feet all day on a hard concrete surface and most normal insoles don't give my arches the support they want, so based on the reviews from this site, I assumed spending a few extra bucks on these insoles would be a great solution. Turns out I was wrong. These things really don't seem to do all that much in the way of "providing comfortable support" as their description claims. Between these and some Dr. Scholl's, I would definitely so go for the less expensive brand. So in short, these things are not worth the price I paid and you could probably find a cheaper option out there.

These are hard. Only to support the arch of your foot. Not the insole you think of. It is so hard it bruised the bottom of my foot.

I bought these to help with chronic plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma in my right foot. Wore them a handful of times and did not notice any improvement. I just saw a podiatrist yesterday who convinced me the problem is the shoes and insoles we wear. I'm returning these along with a pair of Mizuno running shoes. In return, I'm going to purchase a pair of minimalist running shoes and start the transition to "near" barefoot running. My foot already feels better with wider toe box shoes, Injinji socks, and metatarsal pads. Good luck to the other PF sufferers out there - after years of battling this injury, I finally have renewed hope!

Bought these insole's about a month ago, I work 12 hrs a day on concrete, lasted about 4 days now all the cushion is gone. Very unsatisfied.

Not worth it -
I got these inserts based on the number of positive reviews. I have a mild case of plantar fasciitis and thought the added support would help. They are very hard and make my feet hurt. It's like I've been standing on a concrete floor all day just to wear them a few hours.

Bought these to replace some worn out insoles and thought they were great. I still have them in another pair of shoes, but they don't provide much cushion anymore.

These work so well and do not over fill the shoes you use them in

I bought these to replace the original insoles on my 10+ year old snow sneakers. They are a huge improvement. My knees feel better after switching insoles. I hope to keep the snow sneakers for another 10+ years.

I love, love, love these inserts. I have been wearing them for years. I have plantar fasciitis and these inserts are a life saver. I have recommended them to my family and friends. As soon as I bought them, I was able to take a walk without wincing in pain. Great Product!!!!

I've used these for probably 20 years. Walking in Bean boots is uncomfortable without these arch supports.

I get these for my husband. Having been a school teacher for many years he needed something to help his knees and back. After trying different inserts, I ordered these for him some years ago. Ever since he's insisted on using these in ALL his shoes.

Will say this, best orthopedic foot support I have used when in combination with New Balance 860 v13 running sneakers. It really is an ideal pairing.

My husband uses these arches in his running shoes. They provide great support and are easy to trim to fit in the shoe.

I have used these for years - over a dozen pairs. New buyers should know these mold to your foot after 7-10 days and eventually form a custom arch support. So right out of the box they don't have the magic. They are not sponge rubber or cushions, so don't expect pillows. Instead, break them in for a firm support that will keep your heel anchored and your feet from moving or twisting. This fixed all my foot discomfort. If you want more cushion, get the orange kind (although after they are broken in, I find the green more comfortable). If you want pillows, there are plenty more brands that have them.

I have purchased these multiple times and they have always helped make already comfortable shoes become outstandingly so. These support my feet so well, I can forget I even have shoes on and they have proven useful in preventing and resolving potential foot issues for me.
