This dress is so cute! Be aware that the skirt is a bit fuller, which is hard to tell from the picture. I had to get it hemmed so that it hit a little above the knee, instead of at the knee (I'm 5'5, 118 lbs and got size S). I think this size was appropriate for me, though, because the rest of the dress fits great. Normally I don't like my skirts to be as swingy but I think this looks adorable for the holidays.

Fantastic dress! Very comfortable and flattering. I would say that the color is not exactly black but more of a charcoal (very dark grey) color.

I was looking for a casual, sporty dress for my son's rehearsal dinner, this fit the bill. I agree with other reviewers who said this looks better on a real person - even an almost 50 year old mom! This was perfect for fall in Michigan with 3/4 sleeves and a decent length. I've also since worn to work with boots & scarf and will wear lots and lots of other places, which makes it worth the price. I ordered a medium, which runs slightly smaller than most mediums I own. But that's typical of sporty products and it wasn't as small as say Patagonia where I'd need to order a large. Great sporty dress!

I forgot to mention in my earlier review that though sometimes Horny Toad dresses tend to run small, this one does not. I normally wear a medium and ordered a medium in this, and it is roomy. Hope that helps because I always have trouble deciding whether to size up with Horny Toad!

Overall, I'm quite happy with this dress. The color is beautiful, and the fabric is very soft and comfortable. It is pretty flattering - I don't know if it's flattering enough to justify the price, but I have gotten many compliments on it. Horny Toad dresses do seem to garner the compliments!

What everyone says about this dress it true. It is lovely. It's rare that a dress can go flawlessly from casual to dressy, but this one does it with style. Super-flattering and forgiving. Not so tight like many other outdoor clothing brand dresses. Looks killer with boots. I have the black, which is almost a very dark charcoal that I like even better than true black. I'll be snagging this one in a couple more colors.

Beautiful color! I bought cherry pie color. 5'5", 120 and the small fits perfectly. I like the length a bit longer than most dresses I see for summer. This is the first dress I have bought from Horny Toad and the price seems a bit high but I really love the color.

I normally have a horrible time finding dresses because I am short (5'1"), large in the bust and high-waisted, so I have to buy empire-styles or petites, and they do not usually have enough room in the chest. This dress has enough room in the chest so the waist actually hits in the right place. The length comes to about mid-knee on me. The fabric is thick enough to cover any lumps and bumps, although I did have to try on quite a few undergarments before finding something seamless enough (Hanky Panky worked great, I did not have to resort to shapewear). It is fairly low cut. I do not think that I would feel comfortable wearing it to work, but it was perfect for a night on the town with my husband.

Love this dress! Got the small first, which was a little snug for my taste. Thank you Zappos! Easy return and the medium came the next day and is perfect. Still flattering but not too tight. The fabric is wonderful. Wash, partially dry and hang up. Minimal wrinkles. This will be my go-to for many occasions. Can be dressed up with the right accessories or more casual. I like a cami under it. The neckline isn't too low, but at my age 50+, I feel better with the cami. I am 5'4" and about 120#. It is going to be great for my trip to NYC in the spring! Got the purple first, and loved it, but they were out of medium in purple, so got black. It is great too. Will probably get the purple later if they get it in.

I really like this dress, the fit is flattering and it is very comfortable. I am 5'-3", 120 pounds, the small fit well. I generally take a small or a size 6. I carry most of my extra "padding" around the middle, the empire waist works well. The color is very nice too.

Let me start off by saying AWESOME customer service - I ordered yesterday at 10:30am and my box showed up on my porch today! And it's free shipping! This dress is beautiful! I got it in Red Potato, size Med (I'm 5'9", 135lbs, C cup). It's very flattering and fits right in all the right places. I recommend this dress, along with the Patagonia Margot dress and the Horny Toad Obique dress.

This dress is perfect! I ordered the other Horny Toad dresses as well just to see which one fit the best, and this was the winner by far. It is so flattering. The dress fits true-to-size. I am 5'6" 135 lbs and a bit hippie. A medium fit me perfectly.

Wonderful travel dress. Flattering fit and quality material. I'd say it is true to size, definitely does not run small. (I'm 5'11", 160 lbs. and a M fits perfectly). I'm thinking of getting more colors and would recommend to anyone!

I love this dress. It is very flattering (I'm busty and full-figured) and very comfortable. The perfect length for me, can be dressed up or down, and is just one of those dresses that can be worn anywhere.

Great dress for work! It's comfortable, flattering, and long enough to the knee but short enough to be trendy. I bought a larger size because I wanted to be able to throw it in the wash/dryer and not worry about hanging it dry. I should have just stuck to my original size. It doesn't shrink that much. I ordered it in Red & Plum too. Love them.

Very cute dress. Flattering style. I usually have a hard time wearing womens clothing as it commonly is too big. I ordered an extra small and it fits perfectly. Probably the equivalent of a size two. Soft material and looks great with boots.

Loved this dress and really wanted to keep it. The color just wasn't flattering on me. Will be keeping my eye out for something similar in the future!

I ordered a medium in red. Love the color and fabric but felt it was a tiny bit too small, especially in the midriff area so decided to return it. Very nice dress, though Can't beat Zappos for for delivery times. Received it the next day.

I cannot express how much I love this dress...I have it in three colors. I have worn it to work with pearls and heels, to shop with flats, to a beach party with fancy flip-flops, and with boots and chunky jewelry. It washes beautifully; just a minute in the dryer and put it on a hanger. The fabric does not pill or fade. The 3/4 sleeve is perfect for any season. It really flatters my "pear shape" and I have received so many compliments. I also have two other Horny Toad dresses, but the Rosalinda style is my favorite.

This is the perfect dress for all occasions! This is my second Rosalinda dress from Horny Toad. It is great for all body shapes and sizes. I just wish it came in more colors. Maybe later in the season.

I own this dress in charcoal, red, and green...and as soon as it's back in stock, am going for the purple. Why? I am 5'3", a muscular 130 pounds, 34 D -- fit, but curvy. There are no other dresses that flatter my body the way this one does. I feel comfortable and at-home, I move easily, I wear it for casual stuff and for going out. I've even worn it over loose pants and under a shawl when I needed to be modest in conservative places. But when I wear it just as-is, with a pair of sandals, my husband stares appreciatively out of the corner of his eyes.

This dress is comfortable, flattering, and true to size. It can be casual with tights and boots in the winter and sandals in the summer. It can also be dressed up with the right accessories. It is expensive, however. Zappos sent it to me the very next day after I ordered it. Fantastic service.
