Great dress! Looks great and feels good. Simple and not too fancy, but a breeze to make it dressier by adding a scarf. I love it!

This is one of the few pieces of clothing that looks way better on a normal female body than on the models. In other words, while it may hang like a sack on these stick girls, on me (5'3", 130 pounds) it looks like heaven and feels like pajamas. Since this dress works as well for a party as for running errands, I think I'm going to buy one in another color.

This dress is so adorable, easy to "dress it up" and casually elegant for a Sunday afternoon. Can't go wrong with this one, I just ordered it in another color.

Perfection, complete and total perfection! Sizing is true, comfort is amazing, weight is perfect and the cut is so flattering (even on my 50 years old not so flattering body). I bought the gray, wore it to work today and one of my male co-workers stopped dead in his tracks and just said one word "wow". Thanks Horny Toad and Zappos! You make me feel young again.

Love it! Bought two. Great with boots and knee highs. Shows a bit of the mommy war zones, but still looks great and lots of compliments.

I love this dress. Super cute and very soft, comfortable fabric. You should note that it has a slightly clingy fit though. No major problem, but it will require a slip for me.

Despite the soft fabric and its luscious drape - along with the slip-on ease of this garment and the perfect just-below-the-knee length - I'm still not sure whether I want to keep this dress, because the sleeves are pretty long on me and the neckline is so low I can see my bra. I may be able to solve both problems by cutting two inches off the sleeves and using the fabric to make a ruched inset or a surplice in front. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go to all that trouble. Nice, comfortable, flattering dress otherwise.

Soft, comfortable, non-clingy with a beautiful drape, this dress is a "must have." I have five Horny Toad dresses and they are all well made and long lasting. Plus, Zappos stands behind its no-joke customer service policy and so you can't go wrong.

This dress is amazing. I have both the licorice and the purple. I bought both a small and an extra small. Either would have been fine, but I kept the smalls to have a little more ease. The fabric drapes beautifully, washes well and is forgiving of whatever lumps or bumps you may be worried about. My only issue with this dress is that is looks so good, and is so deceptively comfortable that it should be a crime. I have pjs less comfortable than this. Buy as many as you can afford!

As soon as I put this dress on, I loved it. It is very comfortable and stylish. I am going into the Peace Corps and I need modest clothing. Being short this falls just below my knee, which is great.

This dress is comfortable and flattering (if not particularly interesting). I have received a lot of compliments when wearing it and it is a perfect go-to when dressing for work.

I really like this dress but the medium was too small. I am 5'7 and usually wear an 8 but the medium didn't work for me. I am going to return it and try a large.

Beware! This dress runs much smaller than this brand's usual sizing! I am a small in their skirts and I could barely get the dress on in small! Had to return it. The material is soft and the styling is simple. It looks nice on the website!

I am so happy for Zappos' free returns! I did take this dress out of the plastic, but did not even bother to try it on. The "elegant drape" in the description could not possible apply to the lousy fabric of this dress.The hand feeling is awful! I would not even want a t-shirt made from this fabric. Just do not bother.

I'm usually a petite XS-S and this dress size S fit beautifully, very comfortable and flattering.

I love this dress. It is made, at least partially, of organic cotton and very comfortable. The back does not fit quite as well as I would have liked (if you look at the picture you will see some excess material) but I think I should be able to tailor it.

Love this dress! Wore to Easter Sunday service with a light sweater. Comfy! Style and fit (especially waist area) are forgiving on belly bulges. Length is just above knee. Bust area might be revealing if well endowed. I'm not, so M is comfortable (not snug like glove) for my 34B, 5'8", 130 lb. frame.

I love this dress! It is super comfortable and it can be layered for cold weather with boots or worn with sandals in the summer - it is really versatile and can also be dressed up for work or down to be more casual. I love it.

Great all around dress. I'm 5'5", about 125 lbs and vary between a small and medium, depending on the item. The size small in this dress fits well. My upper arms are muscular, and these sleeves aren't too tight, which is sometimes a problem for me with these knit sporty dresses.

For this for Christmas and I've already worn it for parties and for work. It looks great with leggings, boots and a sweater (if needed) or scarf. The material is super soft and espresso color just what I wanted. It's loose in the body on me but I needed a medium on top and it would be too tight in small. It's longer than I thought but I'm 5' 3 only. I would buy another when the weather warms up - to wear with flip flops. :)

love, love, love this dress. True to size and very slimming in appearance. A sophisticated, classy little black dress that every women should have in her closet. It truly can be worn for virtually any occasion.....dinner, the symphony, work and around town. Super comfortable and the v-neck line is just the right depth and does not allow for too much exposure. I highly recommend this product.

This dress is really great for curvy hourglass or pear shapes. I'm 5'5", about 155 lbs and the large fits perfect. You do not want to go too big with this dress, or it just looks frumpy and dumpy! This dress is similar in shape to the patagonia margot dress. That one is slimmer fitting and it's best to go up a size. The horny toad rosalinda is a little looser fitting and you will not want to go up a size.

This is the only dress I own two of -- one in brown, one in black. It's versatile in both colors, and a lovely layering base for work or events. I am small in the chest, 5'7", 150-ish, and the medium fits me wonderfully. I've had the brown for a few months, and it's wearing well so far. (I air-dry it, so no tumble dry probably helps.) It's slightly low in front, so girls with cleavage might find that problematic. Or not. Definitely worth a try!
