I love these boots. They are true to size fit, warm, light weight, comfortable and non-skidding on ice and snow. I am a very satisfied customer.

I got to wear my boots this past week with the MAJOR SNOW we had here in NJ, and let me tell you, these are THE BEST BOOTS!!! So lightweight and comfortable - and kept my feet very warm!

I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable, warm and waterproof. They are also really light-weight. I have worn them shoveling snow, sledding and my feet stay dry and cozy. I would highly recommend these boots!

I can't believe how light this boot is! I wore it in the N.J. blizzard a week ago and my feet were never cold or wet. Cute and amazing technology. I normally wear a 9, it was too short and I reordered a 9.5 and it's perfect.

These boots are just amazing! So lightweight, but with two feet of snow on the ground and temps at 12 degrees, they kept my feet cozy warm. I could've trekked in the snow for hours & hours if my face hadn't froze.

These are super light boots which is a nice change from most snow boots. Ordered 1/2 size larger for socks. These feel like sneakers not boots perfect for walking around the city or walking the dog. Not a hiking boot but a stylish winter boot. For those of us with athletic legs, these boots are great.

I got these boots for Christmas and I love them. They are very comfortable and so warm. I wore them out in the Chicago winter and my feet were warm and dry - when I was in a store, my feet were actually sweating; they're that warm. I got a half size up to account for big socks, but I don't think it was necessary (but they are not too big).

Absolutely love these! Super light, super comfy, and warm! Seem waterproof, and traction is good. I used them to walk the dog on the slippery superfine layer of snow and in slush with no problems!

These boots are like wearing super warm sneakers and they are comfortable. I can wear them all day. I haven't yet worn them in heavy, wet snow, but strongly recommend for cold weather at minimum. They look very cute on. The top can be tight, or open a little for wider pants tucked in. Overall, great boots. Much cuter and more flattering than Uggs.

I was home from work today and was pleasantly surprised to find UPS at my front door with the Zappos box. I was more excited than my daughter. The North Face Zupte boots are awesome and so is Zappos. I placed other orders during this busy holiday season and Zappos has been the fastest, most efficient by far no hands down. I'm definitely a new customer! Thanks Zappos! Ordering a pair for myself!

I tried many different brands and models of winter boots before finally choosing these (after wearing each pair around the house for several hours). They are extremely light-weight and very cushiony. It feels like wearing supportive down pillows on one's feet. They feel more like slippers than boots, weight and comfort-wise, but yet they are very supportive and cushion one's feet well from the pavement (more cushiony than my hiking boots, actually). Surprisingly for their light weight, they offer very adequate arch support. I wore them when traveling 1/2 way around the world with multiple lay-overs and heavy carry-on bags, and my feet never hurt once (and with plantar facsiitis, they usually are more sensitive than regular feet). They are also very warm. In below zero temps, they kept my feet warm while standing around, with only a thin pair of socks. As for traction, they do well on snow and wet surfaces in cold temps - except that they do slide around on solid ice (but without picks or tracks, no sole grips well). They are supposed to be waterproof, but I have yet to test this, as I have not yet sloshed through slushy puddles, only wet snow. The style is nice and they fit my "duck" feet (wider ball, narrow heel) surprisingly well, with only a little slippage in the heel (but that doesn't cause blisters or friction). They also make my wide feet look very narrow. I bought the shiny black ones and they look even better than in the picture. They are also easy to pull-on/off and my feet breathe well in them (another plus when traveling). Overall, if you are looking for a stylish, warm, and extremely comfortable winter boot, these are definitely worth buying!

I purchased these to wear this coming winter, so I can\'t comment yet on how they do. However they are very comfortable and the lightest thing I\'ve ever put on my feet. My other warm boots (Bearpaws) are sheepskin and despite using waterproof spray on them, I feel the last winter took a toll on them, so I wanted something that was still cute but would be safer to wear on the snowier, slushier days. Hopefully they will be warm enough - I have faith in The North Face.

I ordered this boot because I was looking for a winter boot that wasn't too cumbersome, and this totally fits the bill. It feels so light it's like wearing sneakers. The sole is very bendy and flexible, and the lace-up design fit well over my athletic (bulky) calves. It's only water-resistant, not waterproof, but it seems like if you didn't need to be traipsing through tons of snow it would be an awesome boot.

Lightweight and comfortable. Keeps feet dry. Good cushion, but no arch. Okay for me since feet flat, but feels little like cardboard.

This boot is excellent for warmth, you can't beat down. It is a decent looking boot, like the lace ups. I have these in white and they are a great winter look, but get dirty easily in mucky snow. The other bigger problem is that when the down feathers get damp from trudging through snow water seeps into the toes and takes forever to dry. I sprayed my pair with water repellent and that helped for a while, but by no means a perfect solution when there are waterproof alternatives.

The boots were purchased as a Xmas Gift for my daughter. She loves the boots but they do run small.

I received the boots today and was very pleased with the service and fast delivery. I immediately tried on the boots. The boots look great, however there is no arch support and the sole does not feel like it will hold up to the cold WI weather.

A little flimsy. Feels like the upper will tear if snagged on anything. Haven't worn them outside in the snow yet, since there hasn't been any snow this season. Will update if I get the chance.

I would like to first say that Zappos is amazing! I ordered my boots late Saturday morning and they were at my door Monday afternoon. Now, it may just be that the particular boots aren't my cup of tea. I saw the black ones last year and wanted them and was disappointed when I saw that only the shiny black ones were available. Against my better judgment, I purchased the black shiny boot. The boot itself is well made and warm. The outer material, however, takes away from the boot. It looks a little cheap. I'm still debating on returning the boots because other than the look, the boots are nice and seem to be able to endure Chicago's grueling winter.

These shoes are incredibly warm and water proof. Also very easy to clean. After wearing it for only two days, I managed to rub one shoe up against my greasy bike chain. Lucky for me, it came off after a lot of light tooth brushing with baking soda and dish soap. No discoloration or distortion.

These are cute, but are going back. I wear an 8.5 narrow, and the 8.5 was very small on me. They also were not as tall as I thought they'd be. That said, they're cute and look very warm, but I preferred the Sorel Tofino boots I ordered at the same time.

This is a very light-weight boot. It's almost like wearing a sneaker. My daughter has had a pair for almost three years, and loves them.

Nice looking and warm boots. Problem is I need firm support. There is no support at all. I wear Dansko shoes which provide cushioning and firm support for the feet. Unfortunately these snow boots do not. I will need to return them.
