Love these boots out of the box and was so excited to get them. However, I'm disappointed because I need to send them back. Extremely hard to get on and I disagree with others who said they run big. I'm a 9-9.5 and the 9 are snug. I'm going to exchange them for another pair mainly because the insert inside one boot is crimped and very uncomfortable.

Can't decide! I bought these to compare with the Ariat Rogue boots. These look gorgeous. Classic cowboy with enough pizazz that they are super fashionable. The downside is that they are a little hard to get on (catches the top of my foot as I slide it in). Once they are on they feel true to size, maybe a little squished in the toe. I think both the entry and the toe issues will ease with wear. The main difference is in the footbed. In both boots my foot slides a little forward (heel cup too wide for my heel). In these boots the footbed feels hard. I wore them for around 15-20 minutes in my house and the bottom of my feet were getting fatigued/sore. I don't know if this will break in as well. Overall the Vaquera was much cooler looking, love the applique toe and the star on the side, but less comfortable than the Ariat Rogue. I am going to let them sit a few days and then make another shot at deciding!

These boots are gorgeous, and based on other customer's reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller. And I couldn't even get my foot in the boot. So I returned them and ordered my usual size. And couldn't get my foot in them. THEN I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear. And couldn't get my foot in them. So I gave up. But they are very pretty. I just wish I could find a pair that fit.

These boots are beautiful, but they ran very narrow. I couldn't even get my foot in them and I have a normal sized foot!

I was replacing a pair of boots that I had for almost 20 years that were all leather and wore wonderfully. I loved the look of these Tony Lama boots and knew that Tony Lama has been around for years. I didn't really balk at the sale price because I figured I would have them for years. The reviews said they run large so I bought a size 8,I had to try the plastic bag theory to get them on. Worked beautifully unfortunately the boot was still a little to snug, ordered the 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I noticed the shaft and sole were leather. The longer I wore the boot, the more I questioned the part that goes over the top of the foot that attaches to the shaft. It was not leather and it felt cheap. I was afraid that if it got caught on something sharp it would rip the material (I believe it was man made). If it was leather, I wouldn't have cared, just put some conditioner on it and rack it up to wear and tear. I felt the price I paid, the material was too cheap. Sorry, I wanted something I could put on to go riding or go wear with a pair of jeans/dress. These would have been only to wear as dress boots, never for riding. They were returned. I will look for another pair.

I am not sure if these boots were sized wrong or what but I ordered a 7.5 although all the comments were saying they ran large and literally could not get my foot down the leg of the boot. Compared to all my other cowboy boots these looked like they were for kids. The entire boot was just very small. So bummed!

This is a beautiful boot! I was so sad to not be able to wear it. I wear a Ladies' 7.5 in Ariat boots, so ordered a 7.5 in this Tony Lama. My foot would not even go into the boot. I loved the look of the boot, especially in lower heel. I think I would need a full size larger to even attempt getting my foot inside. I sort of felt like Cinderella's step-sister's, trying on the glass slipper! ;)
