I have had a bad experience trying to get the right size for my daughter. In the store she was sized at at 5, but this Jazz shoe runs way too small. After three shipments we finally got it right at a size 8! The manufacturer really needs to give some guidelines for getting the size right. It was a complete guessing game. However, Zappos came through with their super fast delivery and my daughter had the right size Jazz shoe for the first day of class. I just hope that after the returned shoes are received at Zappos, I will not have a problem with the billing. So remember we had to go a full three sizes up to get the right fit. I ordered a size up and while the shoe fit, I had previously broken my small toe so it rubbed at the wrong spot and I will have to return these. I normally wear a size 11.5 Wide and bought the 12 wide.

Very comfortable & practical for yoga & Pilates. They're flexible enough to not restrict the poses & exercises. The soles & heels are just gripping enough to keep you from slipping, but not sticky enough to interfere with your movements or the mats underneath. You should order 1/2 size larger than your normal street shoe size.

Very attractive, however, I ordered 2 sizes larger and wide and the shoes were still way too narrow.

These shoes are used for ballroom warm up and they do just fine. It was hard to find anything that could fit my size 12N foot, but these do.

It is almost impossible for me to find any shoe like this to fit me in 12N - this kind of does but my toes are a bit pinched. I wish their sizing was more like all other shoes.

My son uses these for equestrian vaulting. They run at least a full size small, maybe more. These were too small and his regular size is 5.5. But they are great and comfy when he's got the right size.

Definitely needs a size bigger. Very comfortable at first try. I have a high arch so I would say that it does support my arch.

These shoes run small. I returned a 7.5 wide for an 8 wide; it did the trick. It's like wearing a second skin. I bought them in two colors!

The quality of the shoe was exactly what was represented online. The shoes arrived very quickly. Also, Zappos makes returns so easy.

My daughter wears a youth size 3 and has narrow feet/heels. I believe a youth size 3 is equivalent to a womens 5. Capezio recommends sizing up one size from street shoe size and after reading all the reviews, I ordered a size 6B (medium). She slipped them on easily. In fact, I think a 5.5 probably would have fit better. We're keeping the 6 because they aren't so big that they'll slip off, but she has growing room.

The downside - these run very small - up to two sizes small. The upside - they are reasonably priced and do the job.

These are the first jazz shoes I've purchased so I don't have a basis of comparison but they run very small so I had to order two sizes larger than I normally do. I have had them for two months now (practice 2-3 times a week in them) and they hold up well.

When your daughter has wide feet, there aren't many options. This one worked well.

I like these shoes. They could actually be brought along in a purse for a pair of "fast flats." I got the widest shoe, and I am so glad I did. It appears jazz dancers have much thinner feet than I do. They are comfortable, but take some getting used to - the foot arch is completely surrounded by elastic. If you need arch support, look elsewhere. But these shoes are very close to bare feet and that's what I was looking for. So I'm happy. And they make your feet look way small!

These are true to size, sometimes. The sizing is very inconsistent. Pair #1 - slightly tight so ordered a half-size up. Pair #2 - marked larger, actually smaller than Pair #1. Pair #3 - one foot longer but narrower, the other wider but shorter. Pair #4 - both shoes fit properly. Pairs 2-4 were all marked the same size. The shoes themselves are fine, but sizing quality is not.

Shoe runs extremely small. I am returning and I iwll need to have sized in a store because it runs so small.

My daughter normally wears a 9, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go up a size and order a 10! The fit was perfect! I placed the order at 10 pm, and the next day I got a message while I was at work at 1pm saying that the shoes were delivered! Zappos never disappoints!!!

Shoes were exactly as expected. The point I want to make is my reason for purchasing these shoes on ZAPPOS. Over the past few years, My wife and I have purchased several pair of shoes from you, and one was a pair of Uggs for my daughter. She had them several months and they developed hard spots on them. My wife called and the rep from Zappos credited the Uggs and we bought her another pair. I found these dance shoes on a couple other sites cheaper, but ZAPPOS customer service sold me on buying them from you!!! Thank you!!

Having read suggestions regarding fitting this particular shoe, in that I wear size 11, following those directions, I ordered my shoe two sizes larger than I would normally wear. The size 13 shoe that arrived was a tad short, in that my big toes were lightly brushing the very end of the shoes. Hence, I summarily returned them and ordered the same model but in size 14. Zappo's, true to their promise, the size 14 shoes arrived the very next day. This time, the fit was perfict in every way. Needless to say, these shoes now have a new and loving home. And the fella and his new size 14 Tai-Chi shoes lived happily ever after. "And, now you know, the rest of the story." The End :-)

I ordered a half size up but should have listened to other reviewers who said to go up a full size. Otherwise they felt great. I will be stretching these manually to make them more comfortable.

When reviewers say these shoes run two sizes small take them seriously. My daughter needed these for color guard; she measures a size 6.5 narrow. I read all the reviews here and thought it sounded ridiculous to size up so far. Because I knew I could easily make a return, I ordered her the shoes in a 7, 7.5, and 8. They all went back and I then got an 8.5, 9, & 9.5. She settled on the 9. I was easily able to return the ones that didn't fit and it all turned out well. This all had to be done last minute as she had been in Asia on an exchange program and color guard started three days after she returned. Because of Zappos fast shipping and awesome return policy, this was all pretty painless. Thanks Zappos for making a working mom with teenagers life a little bit easier!
