Customer Reviews Converse Jack Purcell® Ox

After reading the other reviews I still decided to try the Pale Grey and yes it's true. It is more purple than gray. I wanted to like them but had to return them.

Pale grey = lavender. Beware, this light gray is very light and lavender, not the darker grey you may have seen before. I returned them.

Wish I hadn't worn them...would have returned them. I have worn Jack Purcell's in the past, but forgot how uncomfortable they are. The hard toe cap badly irritates my outer toes after only brief periods of walking. Chuck Taylors are much more comfortable. Also, these shoes are not grey. They are purple! The color didn't look so bad inside, but once I got out into the sunlight, the purple just jumped out. I am planning to throw them in the washing machine in the hopes of fading the color. Zappos is still awesome though!

Beware. When I received this shoe I learned it was not so much pale gray as a very light lavender or purple. Not exactly what I was going for and I will be returning. Also, I wear size 13 in most shoes, but a size 12 in Chucks. However, the size 12 in this Jack Purcell felt a little small compared to my chucks. Still love the look. Just not the color.
