These shoes took me through a three week European vacation beautifully... I highly recommend investing in a pair. Give yourself a week to break them in beforehand-- they were a little pinched on the heel at first and I had blisters, but then once they were broken in I have not had any issues at all. The vented material allows them to remain cool even when you've worn them all day straight on an airplane or walking cobblestone streets. Not as cute as other flats I own, but they're passable and much more practical for lots of walking!

Very comfortable. Used them for walking in Europe this summer. Size seems true. (8W) I had a problem with them initially, but it was taken care of immediately. No problem. I never find wide sizes in stylish shoes, but these were great. I also ordered an aqua color for summer.

These are very comfortable flats. I was worried that the mesh would look weird but it's a subtle detail and these are a great basic. They look nice enough for work but are comfortable enough for walking long distances.

This is the fourth pair of these shoes that I have purchased over the last few years (different colors). They are incredibly comfortable, and the breathability is great for summer wear. There is no arch support if you need that, but I just use inserts. I most frequently wear a size 6, but the 5.5 fits better for these, so they may run just the slightest bit small.

These shoes are really comfortable and cool for the summer. They fill the same niche a walking sandal would, but they look cute with pants or a skirt. They don't have arch support, which I like, or other active foot cradling. The feel is loose and comfortable, more like you're not wearing shoes. The one thing I will say is that if I stand in them for hours, I get a slight pain in my right big toe. I think this is a minor manufacturing defect because I had the same thing happen in a more pronounced way with the blue pair I had to return: there was a problem with the sole which made pain immediately shoot through the top of my foot and big toe. This pair is much better though, and as I said, I only notice a minor problem when I'm standing for hours on concrete. The brown pair is of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own.

I usually wear a 7 but I had to exchange for a 6½. The 6½ fits well. The shoes are light and just like their name, breathable. They are versatile and comfortable - I have had no blisters. I am very happy with this purchase.

Extremely comfortable right out of the box. Looks? Okay. they did not look like "new" shoes. They are good quality. They are just the black flats no one notices you are wearing, which is okay. I bought these to replace the Frye flats I lost, and they are not as snazzy, but are far more comfortable. They are good with jeans and okay in a high tech west coast office, which mine is. But they are nothing fancy. I don't regret buying them at all, but I think I will buy a nicer pair for skirts.

It's funny that a few people that reviewed this are from San Francisco because I bought them for the trip I took there this past Memorial Day weekend! WOW! These shoes were AMAZING. I walked all over...and I mean ALL OVER...the bay area and my feet didn't hurt a bit. I am a true 7.5 and had to get these in a size 7. The footbed is smooth and soft so it did not cause any blisters on the bottoms of my feet. The breathable material was wonderful. I got them in the navy color and I'd love to add more to my closet. Definitely worth the price!

This lightweight shoe has a soft rubber sole that feels like an athletic shoe. The breathable fabric on top makes it comfortable on warm days. I've received many compliments on this pair of shoes. I love them.

I have had the black, brown and coral shoes for two years and they are the most comfortable flats that I have ever worn. I usually have huge issues with the back of the shoes rubbing on my heels but that is not a problem with these shoes. I just replaced my brown pair because I have worn them so much that there is a small hole where my pinky toe nail rubbed against the netting material. I just bought a pair of the dark blue - obviously I love these shoes. The blue and coral are beautiful colors. They look good with skinny jeans, causal dresses, skirts and I even wear them with my yoga pants on my way too/from barre class and the gym. A couple pieces of advice are to keep your toe nails trimmed because the pinky toe hits against the netted material. Only my brown pair have a hole, hence replacing them. But after two years of heavy wear I cannot complain. Also, I am going to try an odor eater insert for these shoes. My brown pair had the heaviest use and really started to stink after wearing them so much in the heat. At this point there is nothing that I can do about it so they have got to go. I am hoping with an insert it will mask the odor and I could replace those easily and keep the shoe in good working and smelling condition. Patagonia, do not stop making these shoes!

I love these shoes! I have bunions on my big toes, so finding comfortable dressy shoes can be a bit of a challenge for me. These are great, they are so flexible and breathable, and have not caused my feet any pain! I am 30 weeks pregnant, and though my feet don't swell, I love to be barefoot during the spring and summertime. These are lightweight and flexible, so it's almost like being barefoot when I have to dress up for church, baby shower, date night with hubby etc. I usually am a size 9 or 10 in most running/tennis shoes, and Usually in a smaller size for flats & pumps, so for these I chose a size 8.5, and they fit great, I didn't need to return them. The color is great (I got the aqua ones)! Perfect for spring, pair well with navy, peach, white, turquoise outfits and assesories. There is no arch support, though I like that the insoles can come out if you want so you can put in your own custom insoles. That's not why I got mine though. These are my NICE shoes that will replace my uncomfortable pumps that have only cause me pain and rip up my feet. Finally I have a comfortable shoe that I can wear with dresses & capris again! I absolutely love these flats. I bought them in black and brown and now I want them in all the other colors as well. Unlike most flats, they are very flexible, comfortable, and breathable straight out of the box. I walked around Disneyland all day in them with absolutely no problems! These are a must have!

I love these! They just arrived in the mail today and I could already tell they were super comfortable, like sneakers almost but they look like flats! They smelled crisp and clean like new shoes should, but without the rubbery smell that sometimes happens with new shoes. I'll update the review if they end up hurting, but for now I am sold! I'm usually a 10 or 10.5 and I ordered the 10 which fits me perfectly (only a teensy bit on the snug side but perfect because I know they will stretch and besides, I'd rather have it be snug than make my feet fall out!).

I love these shoes! They are great for packing and very comfortable. I can wear them all day, covering a lot of territory and never, ever have a foot problem. They are cool, comfortable and I am going to order other colors to take on all my trips (they take up no packing space). I definitely recommend these shoes. I have become a size 7 in some shoes, but these are a very comfortable 6½.

This might be the most versatile shoe I've ever owned. They're casual enough to wear on the weekends. The black is subtle enough to wear to work. I bought them when I was pregnant because they seemed like they might accommodate gigantic feet (and they did). I can walk miles in them. The mesh keeps your feet cool on hot days. They're not glamorous, but they're absolutely the pair of shoes I rely on most. I would imagine if you're going on a backpacking trip, they'd be perfect as they're super lightweight and they don't rub anywhere. Unless you wear heels every day of your life, you should own a pair of these shoes.

This is my second pair of these great shoes. I wear them all the time and they will be one of the two pair of shoes I take on a three week trip to Europe this summer. They protect your feet well, but are very lightweight and easy to pack. They offer zero arch support which doesn't matter to me, but if you need support, these may not be the right choice for you. I have two pair of beige ones also!

I bought these shoes hoping to find flats that wouldn't make my feet sweat, and I'm really glad I did. They are cute and comfortable and make my feet look small. They are a good mix of dressy and casual. I can wear them to the office or out. I had to break them in a little before they wouldn't give me blisters on my heel, but that has been my experience with most flats. I'm glad I purchased them and would definitely recommend them to others.

Most comfortable ballet flats ever! Runs a half size to big so order down. Really cute with jeans, capris and shorts. Navy a really rich color. Thinking of getting another color.

Great summer ballet flats. It's so hard to find ballet flats that are great to walk in and are not hot and sweaty. If the sole was dark blue or even black instead of white, they would be perfect.

I'm pretty much in shoe-love with these ballet slippers. I bought them in grey first, then in black. They are comfortable, slim, attractive & versatile. They can be dressed up or down easily, which is nice. If you're thinking about getting these shoes, but are leery about the mesh portion, don't be. I thought the same thing, but it's such a fine mesh, that it's really not apparent. What it does do is make these shoes conform to the many shapes & sizes feet come in.

I love these shoes! I have been wearing them almost every day since I received them. They are super comfortable, very lightweight, and go with everything. I have even walked a couple miles in them and they didn't rub or feel too unsupported. Highly recommend.

I really like these shoes. I wanted a flat ballet shoe, but most of them are too loose at the back for my narrow heel. These are cut a bit higher in the back so they don't fall off. They are cute on my feet, and because they are made of flexible and lightweight materials they are also very comfortable. My current favorite shoes.

Love this shoe, very comfortable for walking about and cute! However, needed to return my usual size and size up. As another reviewer said, the mesh inside was rubbing and gave me a blister right away. Went up 1/2 a size and no problems!

Adorable shoe and so very comfortable. Intend to purchase in other colors. May even buy another black pair in case they stop making this style.

Great shoes and bunion friendly! They run a little big but in the hot Florida weather, I expect they will be perfect.
