I am a size 6 and was unsure of what size to buy based on reviews. Some people felt they run small, while others felt they run large I ordered a size 6 from Patagonia. They were too big for me and ordering a size 5½ was not an option there so I turned to Zappos, having loved ordering from them before. The shoes arrived promptly and Zappos provided excellent service as usual. The size 5½ fit a little snugly at first, bu they did stretch a little after a day or two. They are light and definitely help keep my feet dry. I only wish they had a little more support. I do like that the soles are removable and the color and look of the shoes make them very versatile.

Maybe the best all around shoe I have ever purchased. Perfect for walking the dog, wearing to work, works well with skirt, capris, shorts and pants. Extremely light and comfortable and very, very cute.

This shoe is perfect for the summer. It can be wore to work or in casual setting. No arch support but very comfortable.

This is really a stylish walking shoe. I walked miles each day in them on a recent trip. Very comfortable and offer some support.

Awesome! Ordered a 0.5 size smaller than a normally would have and they're great. They have been planting in the garden with seventh graders, out to bars, and to work for the day in a lab (read lots of standing). They're comfy, easy to clean, and fun to wear. I have the brown and I like the mesh much, much more than I liked it in the pic.

One of the most comfortable and lightweight flats I have ever tried on! It could do with some inserts, but even without inserts, much better support and more comfortable than most flats. None of the pinching and poking that comes with most flats I try on. I saw other people say the sizes ran big but actually I felt that they ran small, but maybe that is because my feet are pretty wide and so it felt most comfortable wearing a half a size up for me. Would recommend these (have them in both this color and black, and I actually prefer this color, look-wise). The black ones I have that are the same size actually pinch one side of one foot a bit--guess that's just the slight differences in manufacturing. I hope they last me a long, long time (they are not cheap)!

Comfy! These shoes were perfect right out of the box. No break-in period. No arch support but they are still extremely comfortable. Wish they came in more colors.

Really comfy except I needed about two weeks to break in the part that rubs against the back of your heel. I have been trying to reduce my use of orthotic shoe inserts and prepare to shift to Vibrams. These shoes are the perfect transitional shoes. I wear the black pair to work and they're passable as dress shoes, but the tan ones are pushing the dress code. They breathe as their name indicates, which is awesome! I walk about 2-3 miles/day in them because I work in a city, but am uneasy about pushing more than that for now since they're new. They only come in medium, but are wide enough for me, and I generally have to order a wide size. The sizing itself was normal.

I teach Jazzercise and I bought this shoe to wear to and from class. The Patagonia Maha Breathe is comfortable to walk in and the mesh helps my feet relax and dry off after my workouts. I have not had any problems with blisters or rubbing in the month or so that I have worn them. Some reviews said this shoe felt a full half size too big. I ordered my usual size (7.5) and a half-size down (7). The half-size down fit fine in my chilly house but they were just a bit snug at the end of the day after walking around in the heat. The 7.5 pair are a bit loose but I haven't walked out of them yet. Since I wear them mostly when my feet are likely to be swollen, the size hasn't been an issue. I'd say they are about a 1/4 size large so what size you order probably depends on how you want to wear the shoe. A note on color: I got the passion fruit, which is a striking pink. I really like that it's different, but it does get dirty easily and I've had to wash it already. If you are going to be doing a lot of walking, I'd choose the black.

These are very comfortable. I bought these to walk to work in. The only downside is that, within 15 minutes, I had bad blisters on the back of my heels (but that is pretty normal for me with new shoes). So you might stick a Band-Aid on your heels until you have worn these in. I normally wear a 7½ but followed advice and got the 7, which fits great. I love that I can take out the insoles and substitute regular arch supports instead. They are great shoe. They are stylish enough to wear to work, or out, or just as commuting shoes.

Nice looking shoe, dressy enough to wear to casual-dressy church, but also goes with jeans or capris. I liked the stretchy fabric that made space for my bunion comfortably. Nice padded insole. However, zero arch support, so I could not wear them for extended periods of time.

I have finally found the perfect black flats! These are lightweight, breathable because of the mesh sides (but you can't see your your skin when wearing them), comfortable, and CUTE! I love the style because they can easily go from wearing with jeans to wearing with a dress. They are a bit spendy but most definitely worth it.

These are the best flats I've ever owned, period. I love them for almost any occasion- around the house, with black dress pants (comfy at work!) or out and about. They're worth every penny.

Like these shoes. Very cool, no sweaty feet. Not sure about their longevity though. I know some of the reviewers have worn them extensively, but mine are getting a little tatty after 2 months of on an off wear; was actually thinking of buying another pair and keeping the originals as yard shoes. Also have these in red.

Great shoe, they go with everything, so comfortable. I wore them everyday for a few months and then sadly, had to donate them because unlike other customers, I did not find it to be a self-cleaning shoe. The smell was unbearable and sadly, I had to donate them. I am a vigorous foot washer and did everything I could to keep them but...if anyone has tips, please let me know as these shoes were not cheap. I might buy them again because they look so good and are super comfortable.

These are very stylish and love the comfort. I would not walk in these all day though, there is only a thin rubber sole. No real support.

I am so excited to see these shoes in this color! I bought a black pair last summer and wore them every day through the streets of Philly...my favorite summer flat of all time! Buy them...they are well worth it and I will buy them until they stop making them!

Nice barely there flat shoe. Runs large. I usually wear 10.5 but the 10 is very roomy. Wide but not too wide. As for arch support, if there was something between moderate and no arch support, I click it.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I sometimes wear wide and found these shoes to be perfect in a regular width. They are very nice looking shoes -- even in a size 10 1/2.

Very comfy but loose on the foot. I ended up buying an insole to avoid the shoe from slipping from my feet. Love the shoe though!

I bought these to walk two miles per day to/from work in Manhattan. They are cute and lightweight, but the sole is not that substantial so I am not sure they would hold up as well as walking sneakers. Also, they run small so the 11 I got does not even go on my feet. For around town as comfortable shoes they would be keepers (if they fit).

Very comfortable, can and have worn all day at work. Would take on trip as second walking shoe, but not all day of walking, is a little light on support for that. But love the shoe. Perfect for summer.

These are so comfortable and light, and they do breathe! They are my favorite walking shoes right now. The soles are thin and lightweight but don't feel flimsy at all. They are flat so they didn't seem to have any arch support but my feet don't feel tired at all after wearing them, unlike when I wear some other flats, so they must be doing something right. I wish they made them in more colors! That all being said, I did have an issue with the mesh part of the first pair I received - it was a manufacturing error and wasn't sewn in properly so it started to fray at the seam. Of course Zappos was amazing as usual and made the return/replacement process super convenient and easy for me (they sent me the new pair before I sent them the defective one back). Even so, I would still order them again and I would recommend them!
