These shoes are so comfortable right out of the box! They are lightweight and breathable but also have decent padding on the soles. I love these flats so much I got the light brown pair as well! I wouldn't spend all day at work on my feet in them, but for a night out or an afternoon of errands, or a even a day kicking around town with friends, they are perfect. They look great with jeans and dresses. The perfect summer flats! I had to order a half size smaller because they have a fair amount of give, but that is part of what makes them so comfy!

These are super cute and very comfortable right out of the box. They will be a great summer shoe with shorts, skirts, and capris. They feel a little big, but will fit well as my feet swell during the hot summer days. They don't have much arch support, so I probably won't wear them on days I plan to do lots of walking.

I love these shoes! It's my new favorite for work and for everyday. I had to break them in but now they are super comfortable. I'm a size 7 and bought a size 7 and it was a bit snug. Next time I would go a half size up. Unfortunately I wore mine outside already so I couldn't return them for a bigger size. I highly recommend these!

These casual shoes are really cute. I found they run a half size too small. I normally wear a 7.5 and I had to return them and order a size 8. You may find that your big toe touches the top of the shoe (not the tip) which may make them feel like they are a bit small, but they soften up in a few minutes after wearing them and they no longer feel like they're too small/short. I injured my right big toe joint years ago so it's larger than normal and it has made finding ballet style shoes challenging because they often are too tight over the joint. These shoes weren't a problem because they relaxed a few minutes after putting them on and I can tell it won't be too tight in that area.

Great all around town everyday shoes. Very comfortable. Lightweight and feels like nothing -- although they do have just a little bit of support.

These flats are like gloves for your feet! They are the softest, most flexible shoes I've ever worn. They have no arch support. I put some arch supports under the footbed and they're great. I love these shoes! They look nice with skirts or slacks. I'd recommend them for anyone who wants comfort and style.

I was looking for a very comfy flat that would be my commuting shoe and also be a good walking around shoe for my upcoming vacations (both NYC and Spain). These shoes are remarkably comfortable and light. Not only do they breathe well, but they also provide an amazing amount of support for a ballet flat. Love them!

I love these shoes! I wore them to walk in Washington DC for an entire day without breaking them in, and they were extremely comfortable. I added arch supports as recommended by another buyer and that gave me the support I needed for an entire day of walking. Very soft and breathable - cool. True to size. I am going to buy another pair.

Feels like a slipper. Very nice and light weight. Cute with shorts or capris. I read that it was true to size, but I could have used 1/2 larger. My toes press against the front of the shoe, but I didn't realize this until I walked in them a little.

Super comfy; like walking barefoot. I am wide across the toes and have a narrow heel. Fit great.

Other reviews said this was too big, but I felt it was true to size. Had I gone down half a size they would have been to short to fit my toes. Comfortable to walk in all day!

Terrific shoe! When I tried them on, it felt like I had nothing on my feet. I thought they would flop when I walked because I could not feel them touch my foot at all. So feather light. I walked around the house in them for a few days and no flopping at the heel. I wore them to school today, walking and standing and climbing stairs for 10 hours, no flopping. I was reassured that I actually had shoes on and that they would never flop because at the heels I had a bit of a red mark where the top of the shoe hit. No blister mind you, just a red mark. I'll definitely keep these.

Compared to running sneakers, they don't have much arch support. Compared to most lightweight tiny flats, they have great arch support. The mesh looks more like canvas in real life when they're on your feet. This is good, because it makes them look a little dressier. I can definitely wear them to work (business casual), which is great because I thought they would look more athletic than they do. Very flexible when I stand on my tip toes. I am usually between an 8 and an 8.5 in shoes and ordered them in an 8. They fit, but I may try ordering the 7.5 just to be sure because these run a tad large. Patagonia, would love these in gray and nude! They would be more versatile for me in these colors.

Love these flats! Puma had a pair like this last year but I haven't seen them put one out again this year. I have been looking for a pair like this for awhile now because my Puma pair is wearing out. I really like this style because it is breathable, light, and very comfortable. I do recommend like the others to wear get a 1/2 size down from your normal size of flats.

I'm very happy with these shoes! I wanted a light, cool shoe for summer that would look good with boyfriend jeans; they look and feel great. I didn't have to break them in at all. I'm not a big fan of toe cleavage, this shoe covers my toes completely so I am very satisfied with my purchase. Zappos is the best! I received my shoes the very next day. Always a pleasure to order from this site.

This is a cute shoe. It has a good sole so, unlike other flats, it doesn't feel like you are walking on cardboard. There really isn't any arch support so I had to get an insert. It runs big and fits loosely. but that worked in my favor once I put in the arch support insert. Is is great for hot weather and stylish.

I love these shoes - they are cute and comfortable - I can wear them for work and play and they have much better support than most flats!

I was so looking forward to wearing this; unfortunately, size 6 was way too big, length and width. I want to keep it cause it's really cute and comfy, but I'll have to send it back. I was hoping to get one half a size smaller, but it's not available.

These shoes are fantastic. They are ideal for travel. I bought them to serve as my formal wear/town shoes shortly before moving to a farm on Maui for six months. As with all shoes that I wear without socks, I got a few blisters at first - but as soon as my skin toughened up, they fit like gloves. They are flexible, light, breathable, and discreet: I could not have chosen better shoes for my purposes. I wore them as a high-end tour guide. I wore them to buy groceries. I wore them on a three mile hike. I wore them as I trekked through the rain and mud from my tent to the camp-kitchen, regularly. I abused these shoes for six months of living outdoors in a tropical rainforest (140" of rain annually), and they took it. I did dispose of them when I moved back to the mainland (I trashed nearly everything that I had worn on the farm). Under any other circumstances, I would have expected the Mahas to last me three years. My feet: size 37 Euro - 7 US, wide at the toe, narrow heel, no need for arch support. My Mahas were 7M.

Initially a bit tight at pinky toe, but saturated with SUEDE PROTECTOR, wore while wet and they stretched. I have 4 colors!! I usually get sturdy, comfy shoes but these are just fine and look cute. Perfect when my pedicure is not sandal-ready!

Prior to making any purchase over $50, I usually ask myself the make or break question: Will it change my life for the better? These shoes have improved so much about my life this summer. First, they are the only ballet flats I've ever found that look alright on me. Most look too girly and silly on my size 10 feet and curvy frame. Plus they somehow miraculously conformed to my foot after two and a half days of slight discomfort. I don't know how they are engineered to do that, but they are three day miracle shoes. I wear them almost every day and wear them everywhere. They seem to go with any outfit. I like that they keep my feet cool but my toes protected and covered, unlike sandals. They are very comfortable after adding an arch support (it slips under the removable lining). My foot is wide with a high arch and I bought my regular size. I may make plans for a second pair.

The shoes are light but yet so comfortable. Great in the Texas heat. I wear them to work and with more casual wear too. They run a little large, had to return the 7.5 for a 7.0 but a usual Zappos made it amazingly easy.

I really love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and cute enough to wear in many situations. I can walk in them all day, and they never hurt at all. I will definitely buy another black pair, and I wish they came in a bigger selection of colors. I'd buy a variety (but I don't like the coral or khaki). Despite my love of these shoes, I've had a few issues with them. When I first bought them, the black dye came off on my feet. Not a super big deal, but my bare feet sure looked strange. The tags on the inside of each shoe are extra large and had a tendency to flip up and show -- weird. I cut them out. Again, not a super big deal, but annoying. Also, I have not been as fortunate as some of the other reviewers in the smell department. My shoes developed an odd, sour kind of smell after a few months of wearing them very frequently. I wish Patagonia sold replacement inserts for them. That would help me a lot! These problems will not prevent me from buying another pair, but they did have to be dealt with.
