Unfortunately for me I have one foot that is almost a half size larger than the other. I can't really wear this style shoe unless there's some kind of elastic stretch to keep them snug. Occasionally if it's a tight enough fit, where I can stretch the leather on the bigger foot a bit, I can get away with wearing this style shoe. These were too loose. I felt they ran slightly large for their size as well. The soles were very comfortable though. I'd love these as a summer office shoe if they had more of a snug fit. I wish Zappos had a search option for elastic or stretch in a shoe.

Just got these in the mail today and they feel so lovely! Nothing tight around the heels or toes. I can picture myself wearing these all day and being comfortable (I haven't though, so can't say for sure they'd hold up). However, the length seemed a bit large, the heel doesn't stay on as well. I wear a size 8 and I'm going to return and try for an 7.5 -- the fact I'm returning to try again says something about these shoes, I think this price is a bit expensive for a black flat, but maybe the 7.5 will be the perfect shoe!

I had such high hopes for this shoe. It looked so comfortable and when I tried it on it was great! Wasn't until I wore them on a trip that I realized that the shoe hurts! The back of the shoe turns up and digs into my foot causing massive blisters! Too late to return it now that I've worn it.

You could easily roll these shoes up into a tiny ball, about the size of a squash ball. They are super flimsy, bendy, and have zero support. But, if you're looking for a shoe that feels like you're wearing nothing, this is for you. They're definitely comfortable, though - I just worry that after wearing them for a few hours my feet and joints will hate me.

While my foot is somewhat narrow, this shoe felt extra wide and extra long. At least a full size bigger than marked. I couldn't walk in it so I cannot rate for comfort.

I had high hopes for these flats since they got such amazing reviews. They looked cute, but I could tell just from walking around my room in them that the mesh would give me blisters. It was already irritating my skin just from wearing them for less than a minute. The foot bed also wasn't cushioned at all, not really any arch support, so I had to send these back.

These are cute on and feel great when you try them on but after walking in them I thought the inside seams rubbed a bit. They feel fine with thin hidden socks but very hard to keep the little socks hidden since the shoe is pretty low cut on the sides.

They are good shoes. Not a lot of support or cushion in the sole for the price they are. They go with everything, just can't be used for long walks.

This is a good looking shoe. But, doesn't work for me. Size 10 (my normal size) feels about a 1/2 size too short, but I know my foot would fall out in anything larger. Also, the shoe is completely flat -- no hint of a heel and no arch support.

I am so sorry that I wasted my money on these shoes! I bought them to take on a trip as my dress shoes. I wore them twice. On the second wearing, for an evening dinner in Bangkok, the stretch mesh tore away from the binding that goes around the top of the foot. By the time I got home from the trip, the return window had expired so I was unable to return them. I am now stuck with shoes that I would be embarrassed to wear anywhere and that are not repairable. Do not waste your money on these. They are cute but they will fall apart before they are even broken in!

I have wide feet and these were not wide enough. I should have ordered a half size bigger. Other than the pinch at the width, they are comfortable. The shoe is very cute, but the suede toe scuffs very easily and I don't imagine them looking great for a very long.

These flats helped unveil my masochistic side. My heels are growing back the layer of skin, for the 3rd time. I've worn these shoes 3 times only. I don't know how much longer it'll take to break them in, but for the way they look, I'll keep on walkin'. For those who value their feet and are purchasing these expensive (and why so expensive?) flats, please be forewarned -- other than the super versatile look and dry feet in hot weather (super breathable sole), do get some athlete tape ready, or better, don't get them!

Though I give these shoes five stars for comfort and style, they are wearing out so fast that I can only give them two stars. I would not even have wanted to pay a minimal price for shoes that wear out this fast, and this price is really steep. However, if they are just going to be thrown out, I might as well wear them.

No room for your toes! This was my worst purchase from Zappos and wish I could return them. Unfortunately, I bought them just before a trip to them Europe expecting them to be my second pair of shoes. I barely gave them a trial and convinced myself that the toes would stretch out. That was a mistake. They killed my toes and had to give up wearing them after 2 days of misery. There's no toe box to speak of. I've worn lots of ballet slippers before and never had this problem. It's a terrible design. The material is good, and since I don't need arch support, the fact that it has no support doesn't both me. But if you are seduced by the cute size and buy them, be sure to wear them in the house before you go out and can't return them.

Wow, this shoe was huge on me! I usually wear a 10 1/2 or 11, but the 11 really felt a full size bigger than other 11's I tried (from other brands). On the other hand, the 10 1/2 was a bit snug. This shoe did not have arch support for me at all, but the padding area of my foot (right before my toes) felt like it was hitting something. I have long toes, though, so it could be that this is designed for someone with shorter toes (and maybe that would position the arch where the "lump" was when I tried it on). This shoe was also super soft on the outside, but I'd be cautious about wearing it outside if it was raining because it looked like it could get water stained. The gray color was really pretty in person and the coral was very bright (but also very similar to the colors in stores this season, so that's probably on trend).

These stylish flats felt comfortable from the start. I wore them in the house a bit to break them in. They felt good. It was only under actual walking circumstances that they became a problem. The left heel insole area began to hurt my heel. I took out her insole and discovered very poor rough sewing, in marked contrast to the right shoe. A light rain in a major city, leeched the black dye, my feet and soles were completely black when I took them off! There is hardly any sole or heel and this seems to cause considerable discomfort after an hour or two of walking. I had to stop wearing them except for driving or very short walks. This is not what I bought these shoes for. All in all, I am very unhappy with these expensive little shoes!

I purchased these flats for a recent trip to Paris. When these arrived, I was very happy; they seemed comfortable, stylish, and didn't take much space in my luggage. I broke these shoes in 3 days prior to the trip and they were comfortable. However, while on my trip, I discovered that Thesese shoes are not meant to be worn all day and are definitely not walking shoes. They are very roomy in the toe box, but caused friction on my little bunions. I purchased these flats in black and they also colored my heel and toes in black. Wearing a sock didn't make a difference. I'm so sorry these didn't work for me because they were expensive.

These run large and have absolutely no support. They feel like paper. Very thin! Hard to believe that they are the price they are!

This is a very cute shoe that is very uncomfortable. They run big, which is a problem for my narrow feet. I've tried inserts, but that didn't help much. These rather expensive new shoes will soon be in the give away pile.

Not as comfortable as all the other reviews suggest. I was surprised and disappointed, especially since this shoe is a little pricey. I wore them to the mall for the first time today and after about 40-45 minutes, I noticed that my feet felt tired and my heels achy, usually the same signs I get when I wear plain old flats. The only difference is that with plain flats, my heels usually get tired after 15 minutes. Yeah, I'm pretty bummed. I feel like I overpaid for this shoe.

These fit true to size but did not strike me as sufficiently padded or designed for walking as you'd expect from this type of shoe. When you're sacrificing looks for comfort, you should be able to walk distances without problems. But I was doubtful about that, and they looked about as sophisticated as a pair of bedroom scuffs, so back they went.

Ripped at seam where mesh meets suede within 1 hour of wearing. Cute shoe, comfortable, poorly made.

The heel of the shoe is too loose but the top front of the shoe is too tight, this translated to my heel slipping out while the front dug into the top of my toe area. I really wanted to like these shoes but even adding a heel cushion didn't help since the material does not seem to stretch after use.

Wicked ankle blisters!! They seemed like the prefect shoes for a New York City trip, and I even picked up a pair for my niece (a teacher) however; both of us developed huge ankle blisters. The construction of the seam at the ankle causes an awful rub. I tried them around the house and they felt very comfortable and supportive so I also ordered them as a surprise gift for my niece, a teacher on her feet all day. Patagonia is typically a great brand so I was willing to shell out this much per pair and we both now have flats we will never wear again. Do not buy these! I plan to write to them as well because I am ticked off about these flats.

I've had these shoes for over a year now. I constantly have to put in heel petals in the back to keep them from rubbing against the back of my ankles, causing blisters. I thought that if I wore the shoe long enough, I'd eventually wear the back of the heel down to keep it from painfully rubbing, but because the back lip protrudes, I've had to keep a foot petal under the lip to provide a smooth backing for my heel to fit comfortably. Unfortunately this has been an expensive shoe to keep due to the fact that the petals get worn out easily and need replacing every few months. The one saving grace is the mesh, which prevents the shoe from getting sweaty and stinky.
