Love this shoe! I read to order 1/2 size up for Keen, but for this style I could have had the regular size. Comfortable right out of the box.

Changes in design - I LOVE Keens. I did notice however, that there is a slight narrowing of the instep on my latest pairs of Keens, just below the decorative stitching. It may stretch a bit, but buyers should be aware that even tried and true styles are being changed.

Nice Shoes - These shoes are a little wide in the front, which gives me a lot of room, but they feel a little sloppy and make my foot look wider than it is. They are very comfortable and the strap keeps them from flopping when I walk. I do like them but wish they were just a little more narrow across the front.

So comfy, but so ugly - These shoes are not attractive. The toe is bulky and they are very flat. However, the minute you put them on and start walking around, you forget all about how they look. One of the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn - these even beat out my Dansko clogs. Just incredible. I wear them to and from work, when the only alternative would be sneakers (which look silly anyway) or with long jeans so that just the green toes stick out. Having a slight problem with them rubbing at just one spot on my left foot, but I think that's probably my weird feet, and not the shoe!

Fun comfort - The Sydney II is very comfortable, yet not stodgy looking. I have received many compliments. The first day I wore them I got caught in the rain and the uppers held up great and did not even spot.

Sydney II - This is all around a great shoe. The first pair I bought hurt my feet really bad at the heels. I returned them and bought a 1/2 size larger, and they fit perfectly. I love the look. I own the brown pair. They can go casual or dressy. They are comfortable even after eight hours on my feet. Although this isn't a big problem, my only complaint is that the insole seems to turn my socks blue. I would recommend Keen's Sydney II to anyone who is on their feet a lot, but doesn't want a terribly ugly shoe as comfortable shoes can be!

Excellent shoe - I backpacked throughout Europe in these shoes and they were awesome because they were comfortable and looked pretty good. Two problems though: because they were suede, they stunk pretty bad, but I guess that's with any suede shoe, and the heel of the shoe kept pulling down my socks. I also have flat feet and these were great.

I like them, but they need socks - They're very cute in that REI-ish way. They are very comfortable, although I wear them with peds sock liners, because they make your feet sweat if you don't, and I think without socks they will soon get stinky like all shoes with synthetic insides.

Comfortable if dorky shoe - I bought these shoes before a trip to New Zealand because we were planning on doing a lot of walking in the cities. (Bad shoe experience in Europe taught me to think more about my feet). They are great for traveling when your foot comfort is more important than looking cool. I have them in black, and they mostly aren't noticed, since I didn't want to look blatantly American with bright white sneakers. That said, they are harder to wear day to day for me commuting to San Francisco everyday. I think they can look a bit nerdy with the wrong kind of outfit. I highly recommend these shoes if you want something that is as comfortable as a sneaker with less obvious, classier looks. I wouldn't call them "stylish" or "dressy" but I tend to wear trendier shoes most of the time.

This shoe is great for those professionals in the medical field who have to be on their feet all day. But, the shoe is very wide and I have a narrow foot. The shoe is still comfortable and I have worn it for many hospital miles. When will Keen start making shoes a bit narrower? I think the overall look of the shoe would be more flattering if it wasn't flared so wide at the toe box.

Great for comfort! I have plantar fasciitis and the pain goes away immediately when I put these on. Order 1/2 size larger (seems true with all Keens). Only drawback is they are a little clunky looking with skirts, but the comfort outweighs fashion some days!

Lots of complements, but... This shoe is really cute on, I got lots of compliments, but, it seems like my big toes bump into the front of the shoe, where the rubber tread wraps to the top. I'll try wearing them some more to break them in, because the sole feels great when I walk in them, and maybe they'll break in a little...

Great casual shoe! I was looking for a stylish shoe to wear on a daily basis to the park with my kids, the grocery store, etc. and I found it! I like this one better than a lot of mary janes because of it's unique stitching & styling. And it has a very comfy, roomy fit. And it can slide my foot in without undoing the buckle, although I do smash the back a little in the process. Overall, a really great shoe!

Like my Keens - I like this new one from Keen. I have found that it seems to run a bit small, but a half size up would almost be too big. I think it could use a bit more arch & a bit more heel cushion, but really enjoy wearing them.

Last year I bought my first pair of Keens, from Zappos and loved the comfort of the shoe and the incredible service from Zappos. These Keen Sydneys are cute and a nice change from a lace up Keen. They ran wide, but it is still comfortable. This a great shoe for people who like a wide toe and a fun look. The lace-up Keens are the best for doing lots of walking.

This shoe runs small. I love KEEN shoes. I do need to tell you, however, that this shoe runs about one size small. Be sure to order the next size up.

A Little Short- My Keen Sydneys might be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned but they seem to run a little short. My toes touch the front.

Feelz good! This shoe was much lighter than I expected... although not that great for wider feet or high arches, it's a very comfortable shoe that I have recommended to several Keen-converts!

Cute and Funky Shoe - Overall, I'm pretty happy with my new keens. They are comfortable, funky, and not too chunky so they will go well with lots of outfits. Definitely order a half size up!

Sporty and cute - I have another style of Keen shoes and I like them very much because they fit over my shoe insert. I liked these because they were similar (fit the same)and look cute. The top edge caused me a blister which is why I didn't give them top ratings. I like them very much.

Review of Keen's Sydney II - Shoe looked cuter in the photo. It's comfortable but it's rather wide so it looks clunky and definitely not wearable with skirts. The toe area is too wide.

What Happened to Sydney? This is my second pair of Sydney's. The first pair was so comfortable but they were in my suitcase and the toe got squashed when probably something heavy was thrown on top of my case. I had to go on another trip and ordered another pair, and when I received them I was amazed that the footbed was totally different - no arch support and definitely not as comfortable. Although they were exactly the same size as my originals they were too big. Instead of sending them back I just took the footbed out of my old ones and they were perfect for days of walking, and they fitted me. Why did they change such a good comfortable shoe?

O.k. not great - I ordered up a size because Keen is usually too short for me - but it was huge. This shoe was a lot less cute than I expected and way too wide. In a size 11 it looks ridiculous. I decided to send it back and to not order the smaller size.

I bought these thinking they were the same as a previous pair, which I now know were the original Sydneys. The leather is not as supple and the sole not as flexible. They still are a comfortable shoe, but not to the same standard as previous. If my other Sydneys did not have a much worn sole, I might have returned these.
