Love them--three of us in my office have ordered these and wear them daily for our "walks"--especially good outside on varying terraine. Do order 1/2 size larger--they definitely run SHORT. We all needed it.

I bought these because I have had back and knee pain for years. I have arthritis and there are days I can only stand on my feet for an hour and no more. Well, let me tell you! These shoes have made a huge difference on the pain scale. I have gone from a 9 down to a 1 or 2. Most of the time, no pain. I have begun walking the dog again and I am working up to a few miles a day. All with nno pain. The extra benefit of shaping my buns & legs is an added bonus!

Best exercise shoe I have ever owned. Great for aerobics classes or running/walking on the treadmill. Hate to take them off and put on regular shoes!

These walking shoes are the best I’ve ever had! I like Avia shoes for their support and cushioning, and when I saw that they had "toning" shoes, I thought I’d try them. Well, what a pleasant experience! They are fabulous and I can feel my legs and butt muscles working as I walk. Nice cushioning, they hold my orthotics perfectly!

I usually wear an 8.5 in similar shoes and this one was so tight that it caused my toes to go numb. They're cute, but definitely order at least a half size up!

These are walking shoes and are great for walking. They help propel your foot forward and give you a better walk. They are very comfortable and very cute. However, because of the slope of the shoe they are not really for standing or all-day wear. I found that my feet hurt at the end of the day if I do that.

Overall I was very happy with the shoe. I typically wear a near perfect 10 but these slipped on my heels a little. Since I bought them for running around at work (I work retail) they had to go back. I need a more secure feeling shoe for work.

I bought these shoes after having a pair of ishapes that I love. I have to wear Black shoes for work so these fit the bill. Unfortunately, the left shoe fit perfectly but the right one was too tight. I went into a shoe store to have both feet measured to make sure it wasn\'t a case of one foot being a little larger than the other. But both measured an exact 9.5 I did end up returning these but am still thinking of buying another pair since I love the way they look and feel when I wore them. So if you buy these you might want to order a half size larger or try them on first to make sure they fit true.

I like these shoes a lot. I'm not sure if they really do all that much toning. I've only had them about a month. I do wear them for approximately 1 hr walks about 5 days a week, but still not sure. Regardless, they're very comfortable, and not too expensive, so I'd say they're worth buying.

I walk three or four times a week for about 2 1/2 to 5 miles at a stretch. These shoes are great! I can tell they are toning my butt and legs.

I have high arches, and these are VERY comfortable...I often keep them on throughout the day when I'm at home. You can feel them working your lower legs after some time, and I believe they help me keep better posture when I have them on. Unfortunately, thick white shoes are not the most stylish things to wear...but I think these look and feel better than the Avia all leather version (iShape).

They are true to size. I can definitely feel it in my calves.I wear them to work as a nurse so I wear them 8 hours. However,as time goes on they are not as comfortable any longer. I just bought the Reebok tone will see how they work.

The shoe was not as comfortable as I was expecting. While the arch support feels good, the overall feel is not as good as other athletic shoes. They feel too firm and do not cushion my foot. After wearing them for even short periods of time, I can't wait to take them off and put on more comfortable shoes. I would not buy this shoe again.

I was a bit disappointed with this shoe. It was a bit wide for my foot and unlike others who have purchased similar shoes, my feet hurt after wearing them. I usually can\'t wait to take them off.

Do not buy this shoe, fits OK at first but then breaks down internally after a short time of wear. I absolutely can not put this shoe on my foot without experiencing major pain! What a waste of money. (I had to give it 1 star, just because 0 wasn't available.)

Right and left shoes did not have the same arch suppport -- left had a lot more than the right. I own Sketchers tone ups and so I know how this type of shoe should fit. Loved the style (my daughter has a pair) but quality control during manufacturing was totally ignored.

These are absolutely awful shoes! I loved the idea of toning shoes, and they do work, but they wear out so fast! I had cracks in the soles of this pair within two weeks. I returned them to the local store where I purchased them and exchanged for a pair of the iBurn and the same thing happened. Stay away from the Avia if you intend to actually walk in them!

Within days of wearing them, I wore a hole in the toe area and could see my sock through the mesh on the top of the shoe.

Do not buy this shoe. Worse thing you could do to your foot. I bought these shoes for long distances walking since I am a dog walker I thought I could get more toned ever step I took. Well instead they made it so that I got a mid foot break and I now I am in a walking boot cast. I called and ask if I could return them and they said no. I had to file a report.

Sadly, I have to return these. I was very excited to get toned up after reading the positive reviews, but when I put these on and walked around the house, I found that the shoes rolled my feet inward. This meant that there was a lot of stress put on the inside of the foot -- that is, my arches seemed like a bad idea. Also, I'm already a little knock-kneed, and these seemed like they'd just exacerbate that issue rather than helping me keep my legs straight and well-aligned. Otherwise, the fit was true.
