I have an average foot and these shoes were VERY wide for me. Curious that no one else mentioned this in their reviews. I think this brand may not be suited for my foot. The arch support is below average. Not for me but could be for you. I just got Ahnu shoe and they have great arch support and the width is what I would consider to be average.

The shoes are comfortable and fit well. They are waterproof, a great asset living in the country and working in wet grass every morning. However, my criticism with is with the sole. It has good traction on wet, flat surfaces that are not click. It is not a sole that I would advise using if you plan to walk over rough, uneven terrain. This sole hits the ground like a board, and does not give at all when hitting uneven surfaces, ergo preventing your foot from actually using the rough surface as a 'foothold', so to speak. If the surface is wet, it is even worse. Great for walking on the flat and with no back issues, otherwise the concussion is extreme.

So I noticed Keen changed its formula a little but I was happy when I found these. They seemed to have the support of past models even if they were a little rigid and clumsy. Then months later I straight up started having problems with both my gait and my knees. I was hesitant to go up steps and felt like I understood how it is for seniors. Then my boyfriend was scrutinizing my walk and said I think it's the shoes. Don't wear those shoes anymore. So I stopped wearing them and thank god everything returned to normal. What the heck? Those are some bad shoes. I used to be a loyal Keens consumer and I never had to think when I ordered new shoes. Now I need to find another shoe that's as good as Keens used to be.

When I first purchased these, I loved them for the comfort and style. Lots of compliments! But they don't breathe at all, and my feet got so sweaty after an hour it was kind of gross. After the first wearing they smelled bad, and they have stayed that way. Other Keenes don't do this, and I will continue to like the brand, but these... not so much.

Have purchased about 5 pairs of this Keen style over the years, but the pair I was shipped felt quite different. Very stiff and one shoe seemed smaller.

Poor quality and not waterproof. I bought a pair 4 years back and was great. I still have it. Also, this spring I bought a new pair same model. It is not the same quality. You can see very easy. At first rain , the shoes start taking water. I have seen lately that Keen shoes quality is very poor compared with the one few years back. I used to be fan of Keen shoes and I have a couple of pairs. Lately, everything I try to buy was poor quality and I sent them back.
