I\'ve been wearing these at least 3 or 4 times a week since I received them. They are cute (but a little clunky), comfortable and very practical. I\'ve received many compliments on them. \r\n\r\nI ordered my regular size and they are a good fit but my feet tend to be a little wide and short so the suggestion to order a 1/2 size larger might make sense for most folks. \r\n\r\nI will definitely purchase another pair of Keens in the future based on my experience with these.

True to fit, nice wide toe box, really cute. \r\nThey rubbed all of the skin off my heels (ouch) the first time I walked 2 miles in them but they aren\'t bothering me now. I am giving them 3 stars for comfort because of this.

The shoe is, like most Keen shoes, good for those of us with wide, flat feet. I don't think the sole and mid-sole are as strong or as supportive as my first pair of Keens, the Newport. However, aside from a little blistering at the heel from my first few times wearing them, they are comfortable. And I walked a lot in their first week in my life--all over Berlin, Germany, on vacation. I like the lace-up style. It allows for a customizable fit. One big complaint: the stitching is already coming out along the lace area. I may have to send them back and request a new pair. I wish Keen would be more careful in their manufacturing process.

Keen Presidio - I would give these shoe 5 stars, but there is always room for improvement! For me, Keen's are a sure fit. Good instep support and roomy toe space. I have the brown ones, and this black is nice because it doesn't look quite so much like a hiking boot. LOVE EM!

Good quality shoe, needs breaking in - This was my first pair of Keen shoes. I ordered a half-size up after reading reviews here. The 6.5 is a little big on my foot with thin socks, but the 6 probably would have been too small for thick socks. It's made of good quality leather and is designed to be a sturdy shoe. Because of this, the leather is a little stiff at first and definitely needs to be broken in for a few weeks. I got blisters on my heels the first time, but a little moleskin solved the problem. The insole has a weird toe grab bar thing that also gave me a blister on first wearing. Overall this is a great sturdy shoe. It also seems to be well balanced, supporting the whole foot including the arches. Looks-wise they're not adorable, but cute in a utilitarian way. They look pretty much like I expected them to from the pictures. Bottom line - if you want a work horse of a shoe that takes a while to break in, this is your shoe.

Not sure yet - I ordered a ½ size larger than usual & glad I did. So far I'm having trouble breaking them in. I'm also disappointed I still feel the need to wear my orthotic heel cups.

A slight departure from the hiking boot look - I wanted waterproof comfy shoes that didn't scream backwoods hiker. And I really wanted that green! I tried these on in a store and thought they were sleek and practical. I ordered them from Zappos because they run a size small and I needed a size 11, not often carried in stores. When they came, they were the wonderful green I remembered but the sole seemed thicker. They looked more like a hiking shoe than I originally thought. Nevertheless, I have been happy with their casual look, especially being a fan of big round toes. For the first couple of days, the heel rubbed and the front left rivet pressed on the top of my foot. That has gone away now. I put some moleskin on the heel. They've been good in the Northern California rain. I am happy with them.

These are very comfortable but they look like clown shoes on me! I am a size 7 and they were just so wide and clunky. Sorry, but they are going back.

I've had this shoe for a bit over a year, the sole is coming away from the shoe and it leaks terribly. Also, one shoe squeaks when I walk, so I sound like a duck when I walk around at work. I still wear them because they are more comfortable than most of my other shoes, but I cannot wear them on a rainy day. My partner also had a pair of Keen high tops that lasted about 6 months before falling apart. I think their quality has diminished over the last several years -- they used to be comfortable and durable shoes. Now they're just comfortable.

I'm just having a real hard time with Keen's closed shoes compared to their sandals. I have a large bunion on one foot and the toe box was too tight for that foot. The shoe slipped badly on the other foot which is almost a half size smaller. In General the shoe seemed pretty heavy. It just didn't work for me, so getting more sandals.

This is the second pair of this shoe that I've bought. The fit is great for my old feet. However, this pair started loosing the stitching on one of the shoes on almost the 2nd time I wore them. I know this is going to shorten the life of the shoe. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I'll think twice before I order them again. Come on Keen, get your quality control under control.

Well, what I can I say. I've enjoyed a very long relationship with Keen shoes. I've owned two pairs of Presidios. The fit was the same as all the keen shoes I've loved over the years. These are not the same shoes. The leather is very stiff and the shoe is very clumsy. I put on my old Presidios and I can see again why I loved keen. The shoe was perfect. Keens have always been ugly as sin. Not even ugly enough to be cool, just plain ugly (sorry if this is news to anyone) but the fit was GREAT. I would feel excited when I saw another person in keens because you know if they are wearing them they must love them. These are not the same shoes. I don't even know where to begin when shopping for a new show. I'd been a loyal costumer for so long.

I would have liked to keep them because they are water resistant. But the toe area was too wide and there wasn't enough cushion. I got the Keen Toyah and they have a little more cushion and the toe area is a little narrower than these pair.

Bought these for a trip to Europe and love the look. The tongue on the shoe is a little long which is uncomfortable for me so unfortunately they are going back. Others mentioned that too, but I wanted to give them a try. Great cushion and good arch support though.

Shoes have a nice wide toe box. Unfortunately, the back of the shoe rubs on my heel (both feet) after just a few hours of wearing them in the house. A full day being out and about would certainly result in red, raw heels. So I will be returning these and looking for another shoe.

Had this shoe for more than a year. It was comfortable, except for the back of the heel, which got increasingly painful the more I wore it. Finally I could only wear the shoe for short periods, and I decided to give up on them. Too bad, because the shoe itself seemed like it could have lasted a while!

Great looking shoe. I have four pairs of Keen shoes; two Mary Jane styles, and two pair of the same hybrid water sandal. The Mary Janes are fairly good. I love the hybrid water sandal and can hike in them all summer with no orthotics which is amazing to me. The Presidio felt stiff and not flexible enough on the top of my arch and not so comfy so I returned it.

They aren't as comfortable as the older Presidio were. Too big in toe area and uncomfortable in the heel. In sole also uncomfortable. Too stiff all around. I was counting on the old stand bys to be good. Sorry to see they aren't. Returning the ones I bought. I do have other Keens that fit great which is why I decided to get these. Had a pair of these and they got worn out.

I recently purchased these shoes and although they are very comfortable a squeak appeared shortly after I started wearing them. It is a defect in the shoe and is very annoying. Otherwise, I love the fit and comfort of the shoes.

The last time I purchased Keen shoes of this type (Braken) was over 5 years ago. I have a narrower foot and heel and had to order up a size back then. The Presidio, in my normal size of 8.5, fit more like a 9 and was too wide. The insert wasn't as cushioned as I had hoped and the materials used weren't as nice as the leather of the Braken shoes I have worn to death. I also later ordered an 8, but they were just a bit too short. Unfortunately, I'll have to send them both back.

I have very wide feet, and if a shoe is even a little too narrow, my right foot really hurts. These, unfortunately, weren't as wide as the first pair of Keens I purchased 3 years ago. They are a nice looking shoe, but I will not be able to wear them. But, once again, Zappos' customer service exceeded my expectations. Free, fast shipping. Best service anywhere.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They looked great, but felt awful. I usually wear a size 6.5 but had to order a 7 to even come close to fitting. My toes were still squished in a 7. I considered getting a 7.5, but the overall fit wasn't great either. The shoes made my feet ache and kept rubbing against my ankles. Sad to return these.

The Presidio is perfect; size-fit, width, color and I'd love to buy another pair, but the laces on this are already frayed and they're color co-ordinated to the shoe so I'm concerned about my ability to ever match the original laces.

I really wanted to love these shoes but I can't because they are sooooooo ugly. I have very large, very wide feet and they fit well but they are too ugly and not a single person who has seen them disagrees with me. The picture shows them in a much nicer orange-spice-ish color. They are an ugly burnt-rust-red. They also look more like suede, in reality the middle section is (possibly real) leather - even darker resulting in a really ugly shoe. Sorry Keen I really want to love your shoes. Please make cuter options in my size! They do fit nicely enough but even that wasn't enough to compensate for these monsters. I'd prefer a bit more comfortable footbed. Not the worst I've felt and it's a personal preference, they aren't ideal

These are just downright ugly. I miss my old keens (once called Briggs?). Why do they not make them anymore?
