This boot was nice but very tight across the top of my foot. I didn't think it would be comfortable with thick socks. I wear an 8 1/2 and the 9 was still too tight. I liked the style, though!

For a cheaper rain boot, looks & feels good, but I have yet to walk around in them much. Will be trying them out today more, but seems pretty good 100% a full size smaller, so I listened to reviews and went up a full size (8), and they fit like a 7. Good thing I listened! Liked that they are simple and seem durable.

So far, so good, excellent quality, still waterproof, color proof. Doesn't do weird things when I walk but rather snug.

This is really a basic rubber boot - not as cute as some of the other rain boots but serves the purpose. Overall, cute and highly functional.

I really love these boots - they are fitted around the calf so they look more like stylish boots than rain boots. There are two problems with these boots. There is very little give in the ankles and the buckle on the side popped out of the setting after two wears. However, I think a quick visit to a shoe repair shop will fix it.

I don't get much rain where I'm at, so I don't get to wear them often, so I try and wear these boots every chance I get. Like a lot of the reviews mentioned, they are really tight around the calves. My sister and I wear the same pant size, but her calves are bigger and she can't fit into these boots.

I've been looking for months for a matte rainboot, finally found one! I wish I would've listened to the reviews when thinking about the size to order. After reading several people say to order up a size I still ordered my normal size 8. I had to exchange them for a size 9. They are still a bit snug but I like boots to be close to my ankles so they don't slip up when walking. You will need some sort of liner for them, I wore them in the snow today and my feet were freezing without my liner in. A great option for a stylish boot that isn't 80-150 bucks! I love them.

I was excited to try this boot, unfortunately it is way too tight in the foot bed. I am a true 9/size 40, and this was very snug. Probably ok for people with a very narrow foot. If they came half sizes, I would go up, but I'm afraid a 10 would be huge. If you have narrow feet or are more of a size 39, a 9 might work for you. The calf fit me fine, but the whole boot was a little stiff to walk in. I tried on a pair of my co-workers Tretorns with the fleece lining in a 40 and they are much more comfortable. However, the Tretorns were more snug in the calf, so don't even consider those it if you have larger calves. Still hunting for the perfect wellie, but these are going back.

These boots are so cute and I wish they worked for me. However, they make my arches hurt. After a couple hours wearing them I felt like my arches were collapsing. I only ever have this problem with rubber rain boots so I think it is from the top of the boot pushing down, not from insufficient support in the footbed. I don't even have particularly high arches. If you do, this may not be the boot for you.

Needed these shipped fast for hurricane clean up...ordered them during the storm and they arrived first day of clean up. Kept my feet dry and clean the whole time!

A good basic rain boot at a great price. Simple designs are best for inclement weather. They look good and keep your feet dry which here in rain country is much more important that style. I would not wear them all day because like all non-breathable footwear they make your feet sweat.

I didn't want to spend the money on Hunter boots, but I did want something sturdy and reliable for the streets of NYC in the winter snow and summer rain. These Kamik boots were exactly what I was looking for - strong, durable, and comfortable! They do run big (I usually wear a 9 but had to return the boot for an 8), are a tad shorter than Hunters (which I prefer), and the side buckle (which serves no purpose) can come loose, but that doesn't bother me. This is an excellent alternative for something more affordable than Hunters.

I usually wear a 6.5 and bought these in a size 7, which fit fine. If I had gotten them smaller, my pants would probably not fit comfortably inside them (and I have pretty small calves). I have used a lot of cheapy rainboots over the last few years (mostly Target brand), and have always had to buy a new pair every year because the boot always tore somehow. I've used these Kamik boots for about year now and other than normal wear-and-tear, they are like new. My only problem is that they don't offer much arch support and are a little stiff. When I walk a lot with them, my ankles end up getting a bit sore from not bending fully. I considered buying a liner to be able to wear them comfortably in the snow too, but they would probably end up being too tight then. If you're looking for a simple, durable rain boot, this one is a great choice.

I ordered these in charcoal, thinking they'd be a little less harsh than the black. Initially, I was a little disappointed because the color looked more periwinkle-grey than dark charcoal (as I'd imagined). Realizing this, I planned on exchanging the grey for black. But after trying the grey boots on with some different things, the color grew on me and I realized that it's probably a more versatile color for my wardrobe, since I can more easily wear the grey with navy blues, browns, and blacks. Overall, this is a comfortable boot - though I'll probably drop in some insoles to provide some more arch support. Fit is good. I vacillate between an 8.5 and a 9. The 9 fits well. My calves are on the stick-thin side. While these boots don't leave me swimming like others tend to, they aren't so tight that I can't wear them with skinny jeans tucked into the top. I do wish they were a little thinner around the ankle - the shape bows immediately out from the heel - but it is a rain boot, so I think most comparable styles will likely do the same thing. Lastly, you can't beat the price on these. This is a small price to pay to help make another wet Portland, OR winter more tolerable. RE: Zappos' customer service, I have to weigh in with another story of excellence. When there was a mix-up with my order (the boots were apparently sent to someone else by accident), Zappos quickly notified me by email and then overnighted a new order to me so that it arrived on time. I love these boots! I am so glad that I bought them, they are worth the money. They are the perfect height for my short legs, I am 5'3". They arre tight around my calves with skinny jeans on and are also hard to get on and off. I am sure that they will stretch, though. But those are the only negative things about them. They are really cute and stylish. I was going to listen to the reviews and get a 9 but I just decided to stick with my regular size (8) and they fit nicely, other than being tough to get on. They are a little on the heavy side but I do not mind, they are rain boots. I can tell they will hold up in all kinds of weather. I recommend them! They are so much better than the overpriced Hunter rain boots.

I really liked these a lot. They've got the look of the Hunter boots but without the hefty price. Unfortunately, I have pretty large calves for a petite person and these fit me perfectly...meaning I can't tuck my pants into the boots. I'll be sending them back but it's definitely worth purchasing these if you have thinner/normal calves.

These are cute for rain boots. They work well wearing with skinny jeans. I wear a 6-6½ usually and the size 7 works out well.

I loved these on the site and at home. It's too bad when I got them, they were way, way, way too small! I wish that I could've marked off that they felt 2 sizes smaller than marked, because when I put my foot into these, it took me about 10 minutes and an extreme amount of pain to take these off! Order 2 sizes larger.

The boot is nice but too tight around the calf to tuck in my jeans. Had to return and keep looking.

These fit well, but feel a bit heavy. I wear them to walk in NYC and after a while my ankles feel some wear. But the fit is good and true to size.

I bought these for my sister, who is a perfect size 8. Although she has pretty thin feet, after reading other reviews, I ordered a size 9 just in case, and she says they fit perfectly. I would say if you're in doubt, order a size up. She does a lot of walking every day, and says she's worn these 3 days in a row and had no problems with comfort. It sounds like these are a great pair of rain boots.

Love these. They are so cute and the price is great. However, they are much tighter around the calf than Hunters. I can't fit jeans in them, only yoga pants and that is a tight squeeze. But they are shorter than the Hunters, so if you are short, like me, then they hit at the right spot. Now I just need to shrink my calves.

I love this boot! They're super cute, and the red looks nice with my khaki trench coat or my black, casual jacket. They're probably a little bit more comfortable than I would expect from a rain boot but that's not saying a lot. I am a size 9.5 in almost all of my leather shoes, and a 10 in sneakers and running shoes -- I went with the 10 and they fit perfectly.

These are really functional rainboots, but my size 10 foot looked huge. I have big feet of course, but they looked far larger in these than in any other shoes I've worn. My heel also slid and rubbed on the back quite a bit.

These are the most comfortable rain boots I have ever owned because they have some arch support, and they fit perfectly (though might be tight if I wore thicker socks). Because they are black, they're also classy and not at all childish. They are a little tight around the calf, but that makes them look sleeker (though if you have larger calves this might not be the best pick).
