Pros: lightweight and heel hight is nice with longer scrubs like the Koi brand. The toe box is wide enough if your in between widths. I have wide feet but not wide enough to order this in the wide shoe size. These shoes are way more comfortable than dansko with the soft cushion bed. This color blue is beatiful like ocean marine deep blue and patent! Cons: the heel hight pushes your feet forward so your toes hit the front of the shoe even with a half a shoe size bigger. This causes the comfort level to decline. Some may not have this problem but I've read other reviews with the same problem. I wouldn't recommend wearing these shoes for more than 6 hours because of this reason. If you have uneven shoe size by half a size, these shoes don't compromise. It's better to buy an open back shoe and not closed like this. Overall: I would probably still buy Nurse Mates but the smaller heel height because they still are comfortable at a more reasonable price point.

I love my nurse mates! They look like Dansko's but are much more comfortable and affordable. I have troubled feet and can wear these all day!

Beautiful shoe, I work with animals all day on my knees with my toes scraping the ground. So far they have held up perfectly. I got a size 6 and needed to go up to a 1/2 size so I exchanged them. For me they are comfortable. I prefer a higher heel, I think because of this your foot sides forward a little and my mid toe hits the end in he slightest bit, but does not bother me. I love these and have gotten comments on them every day I have worn them. Thank you Zappos!

I work at a busy restaurant about 30 hours a week and these are my new shoes of choice. I am very happy with them. They are comfortable and non-slip which is necessary. I would recommend these to anyone who is on their feet all day. As far as non-slip work shoes go I think these are pretty stylish.

This style/company runs narrow and a little short. Lovely shoes, but largest size didn't fit sadly.

I've worn Nurse Mates for years, but I have to say this is my first pair with the closed back. They slip off my heel. I prefer the open back better. For those who are on their feet for long hours, they're pretty good.

I needed a comfortable, supportive shoe to stand on risers for 3 plus hours for a series of performances. These shoes were just great. I have a big, wide, thick foot and these fit very well. They are not "pretty" shoes, but are great for standing and walking.

I bought this shoe with the hopes it would look and fit like the Danskos professional lite clog. It didn't. I tried it in 8 and 8.5 and they just were not comfortable to me. They are not bad looking, but the material is inferior to the shiny leather of the Dansko. If you need to wear them as a nurse or in an environment where they could get wet, the Nurse Mates Bryar material might be preferable.

The shoes are comfortable. I had to order them in size 81/2, rather than my usual size 8, as the 8 was tight in the front.

Lovely shoe. Very comfortable. Looked good on my feet but the toe box on my right foot was too snug. Didn't want to keep it with hopes of it stretching with wear as it may not. Have to return due to one unhappy foot

Very cute and goes well with most any pants. Sadly, they press on my relatively high arched foot so had to return them.

I bought this same shoe/style in 2017. The manufacturer has changed the inside material from the one that I bought previously bought which has made the shoe much smaller. They were perfect before the change.

I like the shiny patent exterior, the print. However, the support felt weak and I could not imagine doing a long shift in these. I loved the leather inner lining also. My foot slid around in these too much.

So cute but so tight in the toe box, I had blisters after only a few hours. I tried to break them in slowly but after a week, I still can’t stand the fit. Too bad! They are very attractive!

I have a pair in grey paisley that have served me well for a few years. I get compliments on them when I wear them because they still look great. I bought the same shoe, in the same size, just in black this time, and the fit is completely different. After two shifts at work these became so big and stretched out that they are now unwearable. I really needed these to fit because the heel height is perfect- if I wear flat shoes I have to hem my pants. I don’t know what to do. I can’t keep my feet in them. They are very stylish, so if you can find the right fit these shoes are a great shoe.

I liked the style of these shoes a lot. They were just a little highter than I wanted & just a little tighter than was comfortable in the toe area.

After some of the reviews about them being lighter than Dansko's I decided to give a pair a try. Wow! I could hardly get my foot in with a very lightweight sock. They run narrow all around even in the heel. I guess I'll have to stick with being a Dansko girl.

I love these shoes but after 4 months of wear, the sole has started to separate from the shoe.

Ran small

I really wanted to buy these in leather. I liked the style of the synthetic black/dark grey so I went with those. I feel they run a half size small. The heel would be great if it was wider. In the picture you can see it has a thick wedge heel, but the bottom of the heel is actually narrow. I tried walking in these and it felt like I had to balance myself as if I was walking in high heels. My feet kept turning outward and I would lose my balance. Just not for me.

not my favorite shoes.. very squeaky when walking, heel on shoe to high I feel like I'm wearing wedges to work. I've twisted my ankles a few time. Wish i could return

these fit really tight, maybe a half size bigger would work better. but Im just going to return them. plus I received the last 8 in stock and noticed that someone had already warn them ahhh, yuck!!!
