The shoes run big had to return for the narrow because they are really wide for my feet and makes them a whole size bigger

These are really pretty sandals but they are just too hard. I have worn Birkenstocks for years and they never hurt my feet. These did. Too bad because the light blue color is gorgeous.

Love the look of these Birkenstocks but, unfortunately, they were only available in a narrow width. Unlike the Arizona style, the narrow in Mayari is really narrow. Sadly they were uncomfortable and had to send them back.

At first glance I thought these sandals were really, super cute and I was excited to try a pair of Birkenstock's! I got the lace color which is so, so, so pretty in person! However, once out of the package and on my feet - they did not work for me. Bummer! I'm not a fan of post toe sandals and was hoping the general design of the straps would not bother me, but that feeling of separation between my toes did in fact bother me. I was also a bit surprised that the footbed did not feel more comfortable. I understand that it eventually molds to your foot but right out of the box, not comfortable at all. I returned and am trying a pair of Arizona style, even though they are not really "stylish". At this point, comfort and support are #1.

Too much arch for a flat foot.

i got a defective pair in the tulip color. The non adjustable part of the toe loop on the right sandal is bigger than the same piece on the left foot. They are sold out in my size in this color but i do recommend.

I wear a 36 in my other Birkenstock’s but you recommend a 37 for a size 6 - 61/2 foot. The shoe is Very wide and long for me. I will try the narrow in a smaller size.

I love Birkenstock Sandles, I wear them all the time. The Mayari is very nice.. but the narrow is not for me.. I needed the regular.

These Birks are very cute—a bit more stylish. However was really shocked to find that the buckles are stapled on—they hurt like hell. Decided to keep after putting bandaids over the staples. Also I have big feet and ordered my usual 41. They are a tad short but larger isn’t available.

This was the first pair of Birkenstock that I'd bought in about ten years, and as soon as I put them on I remembered that it took a very long time to break in the last ones. It's like walking around on little planks -- think Frankenstein -- and the straps are ridiculously rough. After wearing them around the house for quite a while -- and developing a couple of blisters -- I decided it wasn't worth the effort and discomfort.

Purchased in my normal size 40 and wanted to love these but the top strap is a little large, the adjustable strap is great but the other strap across the top of the toe doesn’t adjust. I have shorter wide toes and these just made my feet look strange. Longer toed people these would be so cute on! Otherwise truly comfortable! Sending back for a different style!

fit was good, footbed felt great, Zappos as usual wonderful. Unfortunately the strap between the toes was stiff and uncomfortable so I am returning

Nice sandal but an EU 37 is not equal to a US size 6.6.5. The sandal felt more like a size 8.

I ordered a size 36 per recommendation from website. I usually wear a size 5W. These were almost a size too big.

I bought these because much less expensive than mephisto’s that I normally where. No where near as comfortable so I returned. If you have never tried mephisto’s I am sure they are great.

not red at all more coral than anything

I really wanted these birks to be okay for my feet & body. I really loved this particular color and the style! Unfortunately, they're to hard, which creates pain in my body. I definately require a soft-bed birk and wish soft-bed was available in this style. Birkenstocks soft-bed are the only type of sandle I can wear. I wish more styles were available.

Really liked the style of these, but the strap around the toe was rough and not comfortable - maybe they would loosen up a bit, but couldn't take the chance of blisters and not being able to return. Will try another style

Very disappointed in my new pair of black leather sandals. Right foot strap was so much longer than the left foot that I had no choice but to exchange them. Wanted to wear them….now. Lol…. My brown leather ones were perfect. I only purchase the leather because the others usually had straps break within a year of purchase. For this price I would expect any strap style to last longer than a year. I do recommend the leather, though.

I'm a big fan of Birkenstocks, been wearing them for decades, so based on all the reviews I decided to get this new style. I ordered my usual size 39 but everything was wrong. They hurt between my toes, felt a bit narrow and I wasn't able to find a comfortable spot for the top strap. It was either too tight or too loose. The only good thing about them is they're super cute. Sadly, I'll be sending them back.

This size and model typically fit me well. In this case, the toe strap was defective. It was too short, and the sandal unusable as a result.

Inconsistent sizing. I have this same version in leather and BIrko-Flor- but this oiled navy one was a 1/2 size too small and the toe strap was way too small. Unfortunately sold out of the larger size but I’m also worried it may just be a fluke. The bronze color on the left is an older pair same size. The navy pic on the right is the new one that I’m returning.

I sent them back as I didn’t care for the toe part. I prefer a slide type. The toe part I found a bit irritating to me, but my feet are sensitive.

The size, fit & style were all good. The problem I had with these is the toe strap cut into my foot between my toes. Maybe with a longer shoe it wouldn't do that but all my other Mayaris' are the same size & don't do that.
