The Birkenstock Mayari sandals were too wide. The footbed felt hard and uncomfortable. Overall, these shoes are not as comfortable as expected and were too wide, even with the adjustable strap.

Overall giving 3 stars but gave comfort 4stars because footbed felt nice. Just didn’t work for me. Wanted them to work but … big toe loop was just wrong angle for my foot.

Not near enough support. Caused foot problems to flare

These were super cute but I guess I have a chubby big toe so they were just not comfortable - isn't that the whole point of getting Birkenstocks, right? These will get returned for a different style... not sure which ones yet though.

I just don't find Birkenstock to be comfortable. Perhaps they need to be broken in? The sole is so hard and inflexible. This is a pretty cute model though.

Toe strap was too tight

Super cute and comfortable in general, but the toe strap just didn't work for me. One is not adjustable and is just too tight for me.

Do not care for the color. Want to exchange for gray.

These Birkenstocks are a cute style but unfortunately, after only one season of wear, have broken and are now unwearable. We have purchased many pairs of Birks over the years but will not purchase this style again. I believe the quality and design of this particular shoe is not up to the usual Birkenstock standards, which is unfortunate, considering the price and typical longevity of this brand.

made my foot/leg tilt towards arch. For my foot the arch needs to be higher to tilt my foot to the outside so my knees/legs are in alignment. Otherwise it is an excellent high quality sandal.

I am so sad that these did not work for me. I have several pairs of the same style from 5 years ago or so and they fit great. These were too narrow and cut into the sides of my foot. Very uncomfortable. I have extra wide feet but the earlier versions had more give and would conform fairly quickly. I could not wear these so sent them back.

Really wish all the great colors in Mayari came in a leather option. The synthetic materials are not as comfortable, as they never really soften and form to the foot. Would especially love to see the metallic silver and the antique lace colors in leather!

This is my third pair in 4 years and I feel the quality has gotten increasingly worse. The arch support isn’t as great as it used to be, the soles don’t feel as sturdy as my first pair and just overall it feels like a different shoe.

These were so stiff and did not seem like they would soften. I don't do well with that thick of leather between toes.

I just received these sandals today along with another pair of Birkenstocks. Both pair were in a generic kraft box. Every pair of Birkenstocks I’ve ordered before ( and I have many) came in a Birkenstock box. The toe straps on one pair aren’t set quite the same as a pair I already own. I am a little concerned that these are perhaps counterfeits and am contemplating returning them and ordering directly from Birkenstock.

It’s been a long time since I wore Birkenstocks, and in my 60s, my arches have fallen somewhat. I found a good solution in wearing heel lifts that raise my heels just a quarter inch. They are a little long in the foot bed but comfortable so I decided not to return them. I wear a 9 1/2 and the 40 was just a little long. Materials and style are all great.

Be aware that only the Birkflor material stays clean. I love these shoes but I ordered a pair of the pigskin/nubuck in pecan and they were soiled within 3 months of wearing. The company was not helpful in any way. My advice is to stay away from any light colored materials except for Birkflor. They continue to look good for years.

The sizing has changed. I am typically a size 37 (6.5 us) but it was way to big on the length and the 36 is just a bit too small on the width. I’m bummed because my old ones ripped after almost daily wear for 3+ years and haven’t been able to get a replacement that works.

I have narrow feet and these were too narrow of a fit.

I’ve had (and loved) this style of Birkenstocks before, but this pair I’ve just ordered has a much more narrow heel base, which won’t work for me. Sadly, there’s no wider option, so I have to return them.

This is my second pair of Mayari, but this pair is giving me a callous on the bottom of my left foot after wearing them for a couple of weeks. There is a ridge that runs under the ball of the foot that is causing severe discomfort so I cannot wear the sandals. I would like to return these sandals since I cannot wear them.

Felt smaller than regular Birkenstocks.

I normally buy a 38 in EU sizing, but the 38 in these sandals is quite large on me. There is no flex at all in the sole, they're very stiff. I do like how supportive they feel, but the stiff sole is super uncomfortable. While the sole may become more flexible upon wearing, I'll be returning them. Naot sandals are just as supportive without needing a break-in period, and they are more true to size.
