The narrow was still too wide for a slightly narrow foot.

I really wanted to like this shoe, since I love the way it looks. I first read about the width of Birkenstock on this site, which recommended that narrow would fit narrow and medium width feet. That was a mistake; it was too narrow for my comfort. I returned them for a regular width, which felt much better. However, I got a pair that was slightly mismatched in terms of the fitting of the leather straps; it was unfortunately the leather strap that was not adjustable. One shoe was too lose around the big toe, which made it uncomfortable, so I had to return this pair too. I understand that these manufacturing differences happen, but at that point, I didn't feel like asking for yet another pair. I gave up on this style and ordered a different Birkenstock.

Have worn these sandals for a year now and they are still in good shape. I don't think they'll provide much arch support after this summer but I'm hoping for the best!

So I'm an 8.5 usually, medium width. I've read that the "narrow" width fits both narrow and medium width... I think I disagree with that. I'm returning these for the "standard" width Birks, same style, and a size 38 instead of the suggested 39 for me. I tried on a few pairs at DSW and the 38 regulars are much more comfortable in my opinion. Love the color, style, and arch support, though!

Super comfy, took a while to break in but make sure you follow Birkenstock recommendations on how to break in your Birks. It really does make a difference!

I wanted to love these, but I think they're going back. They have the tightest straps I've ever experienced with the various Birkenstock styles. I had to secure them in the last hole for both buckles and they still feel snug. I have wide feet, but not really "big" feet as in thick, puffy, swollen, etc. If you have any of those, I imagine these would not fit at all. All my other Birkenstock styles I usually secure them at least a couple holes in and then have to tighten them even more as the leather stretches out. These will probably also stretch some, but they will likely not be comfortable in the meantime.

I have trouble wearing these for a full day. I have plantars fasciitis and thought these would be sufficient arch support, but they are not. I’ll have to stick to Dansko and Abeo brand shoes. I really love the look of these, but can’t wear them.

I wear a size 9 the fit comfortable maybe a inch big but they are great

These Birkenstocks were a gift. I myself have several pairs of sandals. The size and comfort are superior to other brands. they hold up to continuous everyday use and stay comfortable. I normally wear orthotic supports in my shoes, but these sandals keep my "flat" feet supported and keep me from getting alignment issues.

These aren't as comfortable as people may think but they are great quality. I have worn these everywhere and they still hold up great

I normally wear a size 6, and ordered a size 36 Regular in the Mayari. They're a half size too large. Tried buckling to the smallest notch, and it helps a little, but then the toe feels tight. I imagine I shouldn't have to make it so tight. They make my arches ache a bit after walking around in them for several hours. Wonder if I should've ordered a 35, or a 36 Narrow. The style is super-cute and the thin straps make them look unclunky.

I have a wide foot. Birk’s are the best and so comfy too!

I had these for just over a year and they were always on my feet. So cute and comfy. I had to buy the cleaning kit for them to properly take care of them because I was wearing them so much. Last week though, the strap completely broke off from the sole. I did not expect $100 shoes to break like that.

I LOVE these sandals. I couldn't get enough of them. I literally wore them most of the summer, after a breaking in period there was nothing more comfortable for my feet. The pearl white color went with everything and I got so many compliments on these shoes I could hardly believe it. It was 100% love until they broke :( seems like a common story that the toe strap between the big toe and second toe comes out. Fortunately Zappos customer service was great and I'm going to take another crack at another pair. I am pretty bummed the Birk name doesn't seem to mean what it used to though, the quality is not the same sadly.

I purchased just before a trip. I like the style and the support when I tried on in a local store. Unfortunately, they did not have the style and color I wanted. I have excellent history with Zappos and found what I wanted. Since I procrastinated, thinking they might be on sale, I paid extra for shipping! They arrived in time for the trip, but alas, 1/2 size too big. I will return only for that reason and will wait for a sale and reorder. I am a 37 or 38 in 90% of my footwear. These are 37 (6-6.5) and will need to return for 36.

I normally wear 7-7.5 and ordered the 38 which is a whole size too big. Keeping them because I threw the box away but after wearing and figuring out where my toes were supposed to be because of the support, I realized they were too big. Will definitely order size down if I order another pair.

I liked them but one of the toe straps was a different brown than the rest of the straps. I'll be returning them.

I have these same shoes in the graceful toffee color and I love them so I decided to get them in the antique white also. For some reason the white ones are more narrow even though they are the same size and regular width. I decided to purchase another pair and see if they come the same way. I’m thinking maybe the first pair of antique whithe may have been packaged incorrectly.

I selected these Antique Lace Mayari thinking that they would be all leather. Other sandals specified "vegan" if they weren't leather and since these did not have that specification, I assumed they'd be leather. What they are is a thin leather covering over a felt-like material that in my opinion is less flexible and accommodating to the foot, particularly between the toe. It seems that most Birkenstocks are now this kind of material and the only all leather ones I've found are the ones that say "oiled leather". This is my 3rd pair of Mayari style (I love the style) the other two being all leather, and I was hoping that I could venture into other colors and still get all leather, but not so. I debated returning them but opted to keep and give the new material a go. So far (only two wearings later) I'm not crazy about the feel between the toe. My leather ones molded to me entire foot so lovingly...sigh.

I really wanted these shoes to fit. My 3rd or 4th toe on my right foot uncomfortably touched the front ridge, so I ordered a larger size, but the same thing happened. My feet are narrow, and sensitive. I know other people who rave about these shoes.

This is my second Mayari shoe that I have purchased from Zappos! My first one I wore like every other day while it was warm, and it really molded to my foot and was SO COMFY for my flat foot (also my job requires me to stand and walk all day, and it was no problem with this shoe). However from the everyday wear for about a year, the strap popped one day and rendered the shoe totally unusually. Instead of trying to get them fixed I threw them away... I’m hoping for better luck with this pair, if not I’ll contact Zappos for a replacement.

These are great! They have wonderful arch support, are super comfortable, and seem like they're going to last! I typically wear a size 8.5, and because of this got a size 39. However, these sometimes feel like boats of me. I wish they were a half size smaller...
