I bought this sandal to replace the taborah paillio style which is no longer made in narrow. I purchased the narrow width. The fit is simailar although I had to have the straps cut and tightned to fit my narrow low arched foot. My normal shoe size is a 7 Narrow so I purchased a 37N. Birkenstocks take a while to break in, but provide excellent arch suppport and are good for your back,hips, and knees as well.

This shoe is so comfortable. I am a barely size 9 foot and the 39 fits perfectly. My foot tends toward a wide size and this shoe is just the right width. The arch support is substantial. I have a rather high arch but the high arch shoe hurt my feet. The arch support in this shoe is perfect. I wear this shoe nearly every day and have never had sore feet. I love this shoe!

These are the best. I use them at home instead of slippers. So much support as I walk around the house.

These are so comfortable right out of the box. I am living in them this summer. They provide so much foot and arch support.

Love Birkenstock's. They run wide (get the narrows if you have normal B-width feet) and a little longer than most shoes. The arches are perfect for my feet. Love the shiny lavender, too.

Love these sandals! Have several pair and they are all super comfortable right out of the box. Not sexy but if my feet aren't happy, none of me is happy! Highly recommend. Very true to size and width.

I love these. I was able to put on and wear for most of the day without any problems. I need a lower heel bed and these are wonderful. Want to purchase another pair in a different color.

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm so sad I waited so long! they are great - my favorite shoe. Love the lavender color - they go with everything and look very feminine despite the clunkiness of the Birks!

My first new Birkis in 15 years. I love the coppery finish on the soft straps! They go with anything. There was no break-in time. They were instantly comfortable. I love the styling- much sleeker than the wider strapped style that I had so long ago. I wore them today to the science museum and toured a ship, too. I had no discomfort and was easily able to climb the steep and narrow ship ladders with ease. Plus they looked fabulous.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. I have a really hard time with shoes and this shoe is extremely comfortable and looks really great at the same time... in fact several people that I have come across have ordered them now also because they have a really good look.. They can really casual in shorts or look really nice with nice shirt and some jeans... I LOVE THEM!

I love these sandals! Since I was five months pregnant, my feet have gotten so wide! I went from an 8 regular width to an 8 double wide! Now six months pregnant, I have had to buy all new shoes, and I love these sandals! They are comfortable for my swollen tired wide feet and fit perfectly! (they are great to wear to get a pedicure too!) they have great support and I love how the straps are adjustable! I love these!

I had originally ordered the toffee in a 38 (which I normally wear for Naot sandals) but had to return for a 37. I almost didn't return them and just gave up, because a full size smaller I thought for sure would be too small. I'm glad I did! And they had the mocha Birkibuc available in the 37. I had bought and never wore a pair of Birkenstocks years ago because the leather was just too hard on my feet. The ones that end in "buc" seem to be suede vs leather and are definitely softer and nicer to the tops of the feet! The leather is softer than the old pair (years ago) that I bought as well. Highly recommend. You may want to size down.

I was so delighted at the shipping time. They delivered as promised. I love the sandals. They are one of the most comfortable I have bought. They did stretch out some, but there were enough holes in the straps to tighten them. That is also good because I have a slim foot. I give this shoe and the transaction a five star.

Great for long distance walks, shopping, travel or for long periods of standing. Very comfortable if you get the right size exactly. Your feet will get hooked on them. I never go barefoot now because of my Birkes. Even in the house!

All styles Birkenstock run large. I'm normally a women's 9-9.5 in US sizes and according to UK size charts should be a 40 but that was way too big. Order for 1 size smaller pending your US shoe size and no need to get extra width, these shoes are plenty wide. Very comfortable to walk in and took very little breaking in to wear all day with comfort.

This is my first review. I swore that I would never do it but I have not taken these off since they arrived. They are cute off, but even better on. I absolutely love them. I am a Birkenstock wearer and have two other pairs. These are my all time favorite and I look forward to saving my nickels to buy them in other colors. I thought that the toe looked like it might be too bulky and not completely comfortable right out of the box. I adore them and will be buried in them. Absolutely recommend!

I love these sandals. They fit my feet perfectly and are so comfortable. I would live in them if I could.

I bought these sandals, because I wanted comfortable, casual, everyday sandals. I think these fit the bill. I bought the golden brown and I really like them. I would describe the color as a mossy brown with a sheen. It's very nice. I am always a size 6 1/2, always. According to the chart I needed a 37. Got them and I instantly knew they were too big before I even put them on. Sure enough, they were. So I ordered the 36 and they fit perfectly for me. Thanks to Zappos for speedy shipping! Love it!

These are my favorite Birks ever. I have worn Birkenstocks for 30+ years and the Mayari are one of the classics in my opinion. They are fun and stylish and true to the Birk fit. The arch is just a bit less than the traditional Arizona, but that is the only very minimal complaint. Of all my Birks, I have lived in my 2 pair of Mayaris summer. Also, Zappos is wonderful...they exchanged a color for me quickly and no charge as advertised, even upgraded my order to overnight (for free) as a courtesy. Great sandal and great company!

So good to be back in Birks! How I've missed my fav footwear from my youth. All the Birky comfort, with a dash of style.

I have had many pairs of Birks, but these are quite possibly my favorites as far as versatility. The titanium color goes with just about everything. I did not know how I would like the straps around my big toe, but they do not bother me at all. They are super comfortable shoes, that are great for supporting high arches, and they last really well if decently cared for.

2nd pair of these shoes. Give 'em a few days to mold to your feet-if you are not used to Birkenstocks. I like the look of these much better than the traditional Arizonas - but I also have a pair of those too. Zappos has super quick shipping!

I love these shoes. They aren't the typical hippie Birkenstock... they are strappy, cute and most of all comfortable! With 2 straps that adjust, you are guaranteed a great fit. I saw all the reviews on how they help with sore feet, and I wear Dansko's all winter, so I was looking for a comfy sandal. These are going to be great for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. I will be ordering the red ones too. I wear a 39 in Dansko, so I got that same size in these. I also had wider feet, so these are perfect for me. Sometimes my feet hang over the typical slim flip flop.
