I have never worn birkenstock's before, but I love this pair. Worn them all over Key West and they were comfortable from the beginning of my walk 'til the end. I like the patent. I was concerned about the straps around my big toe, but they were very comfortable, too.

I love these Birkenstocks! They are absolutely amazing. They provide all-day comfort, and fit my feet true-to-size.

I'm a Birkenstock fan wearing 3 pairs/year that I rotate out (retire) 1 pr. each year. I am on concrete all day every day living on the side of a mountain in warm climate, often walking on rough terrain. I can wear my Birkenstocks at any time & be reassured to have a steady, solid & comfortable support at all times...with a little fashion mixed in. The Mayari is by far the best looking, fitting & comfortable B. sandal of all the styles that I've had so far. I'm getting ready to order my second pair now.

I have had many pairs of Birkenstocks and several different styles. The Birkenstock Mayari is my favorite. I have a lot of problems with my feet and now Plantar Fasciitis. I have been to several doctors and nothing was working. The Birkenstock Mayari gave me relief instantly. I now have 2 different colors and about to order a third. Zappos is great, and make my life so easy!

I love, love, love this shoe! I have had several pairs of Birkenstocks over the years. More recently, I have been wearing Papillio's (another Birkenstock shoe-just more funky in my opinion!) and I literally wear them out! Anyway, back to the review, I was looking for a black sandal and after 2 tries with Papillio's (no success for some weird reason), I tried this one. It is very similar to the Papillio Tabora except the Birkenstock sandal has a buckle on both set of straps. I first ordered it in a cool silver metallicy color. I really liked them but the were too similar in color to a pair I already own so I send them back and ordered a pair in black, what I was originally looking for! They were back ordered but I didn't mind waiting. When they arrived, I took them out of the box and wore them for 7 hours. No kidding! They are that comfortable! I wear them almost year round. You can do that in south TX! If I'm not barefoot, I probably have a pair of Birkenstocks on!

Love this sandal. I've never thought of myself as a Birkenstock person but when I started developing foot problems, someone recommended the brand. I chose this style because it seemed the least "caveman" or "old lady" of the styles. It is cute and it feels so good to wear them. I am between size 6.5-7m normally and ended up buying a 37 which according to the charts is a 6-6.5. I probably could have gone 36 because there is still space at the back of the sandal. I am very happy with my purchase and wear these often to and from my group fitness classes.

I have been wearing Birkenstock shoes and sandals for over 20 years, love them still. The Mayari style has been my favorite go to sandal for many years. They have a more feminine look than many of the other styles. I just love the new colors offered, the Habana Oiled leather is a great look. Will continue to wear Birks, I had Plantar Fasciitis for too long, this brand works for foot problems!

I literally wore these shoes all summer! They are comfortable for all day wear, even walking. I got a ton of compliments on them as well! They are so worth the purchase.

Love these shoes! I have them in 2 colors and they make my feet feel better. I was in between a 36 and 37, so I have one of each. Some days my feet feel bigger. Onyx color is very pretty!

These sandals are wonderful! A great combination of Birkenstock comfort with a cute style. These are my go-to shoes for errands around town. They go great with shorts and jeans and I get tons of compliments.

I love this shoe; It's my first pair of Birks in about 10 years and I'm so happy I bought these. They are comfortable and stylish. Several people have complimented these stating, "those are the cutest Birks ever!" I got Lavender and they go with everything...wish I had a purse to match. I wear an 8.5 and bought a 39.

Love this shoe. I have been experiencing foot problems for a couple of years. Bought this shoe and pain is completely gone. Will definitely purchase in another color. And only from Zappos!

Great sandals! I bought them for a trip to France and they have supported me for days on days of walking. My feet are too narrow for regular Birkenstocks, but I bought these in a narrow width and they fit perfectly. I have seen several French women wearing them too! Great all-purpose walking sandal. Pretty cute, too.

I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe that was stylish to wear with dresses while I was on vacation, and this was it! I have been a firm believe in Birkenstocks since I've had surgeries on my feet and they never disappoint. Great arch support for a sandal and fun styles!

I love these! I have been wearing these sandals for years now, and never once had sore feet, even after hours of walking. The best friends for my feet! The thong style keeps them securely on your feet. I have three different colors and will definitely buy more! Best sandals ever. Now if they'd only make something this comfortable for cold weather.

Love this sandal; the instep strap keeps them securely on the foot. It is very comfortable and sturdy yet attractive.

Zappos VIP is off the hook! Even faster than you can believe. I love my new Birkenstocks. The silver really dresses them up so I can be comfortable and cute. Size and fit were perfect too.

I love Birkenstocks but this style I've had trouble with. The 9 seemed huge yet the 8 1/2 rubbed my toe wrong. Oh well, will try another style.

I bought a pair in blue earlier in the year and I just had to have in basic black as well! They are comfortable and versatile.

I love my new Mayaris! My old pair of Birkenstocks -- which were over 10 years old -- had to go. I bought the Mayaris and have been wearing them everywhere! They're super comfortable...a great purchase!

I have Plantar Fasciitis and the Birkenstock shoe is the only thing that has stopped and kept the pain away. I own the clogs and the Mayari sandal. Birkenstock is wonderful if you have very high arches and long toes like me. My only complaint with my recent sandal purchase is the Birkibuc. The felt on the underside is unfortunately very itchy on my feet. If you have even slightly sensitive skin I would recommend the oiled leather. This pair will go back but will be exchanged for the leather version. Note: If you have foot problems or stand all day, buy a Birk! (The orthotics are also fantastic in a good athletic or casual shoe as well!)

I really love thee sandals. I've had them for a little over a week, and I've worn them several times for the entire day. They are so comfortable, and they are really great-looking. Sometimes Birk's can look a little boxy, but the design of these, with the wrap-around toe strap, and the thinner bands, makes them look more delicate. I've worn them with skirts, shorts and pants. Very versatile.

So comfortable, this is my second pair and I wear them everywhere, not the most attractive shoes, but still relatively attractive for how comfortable they are. A few summers ago I had a Morton's Neuroma, which is where a bundle of nerves grows between my 3rd and 4th toe on the ball of my foot (very uncomfortable) this was the only shoe that I didn't experience the pain in.
