Mayari Habana: This is a follow up review to a previous review of mine. I’m a big fan of the oiled leather Mayari! I bought three pairs this summer: habana, tobacco, and Zinfandel. But after a few days of wear, the TOE LOOP of the Habana colored left shoe STRETCHED to the extent that the shoe would not stay securely on my foot while walking. After a few days of going back and forth about whether to keep wearing them, I called Zappos customer support and they offered to exchange them for another pair. The replacement pair was delivered the very next day (YAY Zappos!). The replacement pair fits great and so so comfortable, just like the other two colors I purchased. Thank you, Zappos, for the amazing customer support and service; as always, y’all exceed expectations :-) Some notes based on my Birk purchasing experience: Color: Pictures online show the Habana as a rich medium-dark brown, and my first pair of Habana were definitely like that. But the replacement pair that Zappos sent me are not as rich in color, they are much lighter, somewhere between the Habana and tobacco. Not a problem for me as I am more concerned with how they fit than the exact color, but since there are other reviews here that mention color variation I can confirm that, yeah , the pair you receive may be slightly different than color you see online. Toe loop: examine the Mayari closely before wearing. In the future, if I receive a pair that has a toe loop that appears too spacious, I will exchange them for a pair that has a toe loop that initially fits snugly because they WILL and DO stretch. Size: I’m US size 8, a little bit wide in the forefoot. In Birkenstock’s I wear 38 regular width.

What can I Say? They are birks...so they are awesome! Love all Birks- the comfort, quality, and style. These were TIGHT on my toes and top of foot for first couple of days, but dont give up as they stretch quickly and are soooo comfortable!

These were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I haven't had Birkenstocks since I was a kid and they were just as great as I remember them. I have a wide toe box and narrow heel and the regular width is perfect. I normally wear a 9-9.5 shoe but Zappos recommended 39 (8-8.5) and I'm glad I listened because they are the perfect size.

I already have several pairs of these from last year. Coming back for more colors. I love the way they support my foot. I call my Birkis my “magic shoes”. If I wear other shoes during the day, I always come back to these. This time I got the metallic taupe, the golden brown which is really an olive green with gold, and the Bordeaux vegan version. The footbed on the vegan version is very hot, and apt to get smelly. I use special foot powder just on the vegan ones to control this.

These sandals are perfect for anyone with foot problems! The support is amazing and they look really cute! I wear a size 8 in almost all shoes and sandals, but a 38 (size 7-7.5) in Birkenstocks.

I was a little hesitant about the toe strap, but they are incredibly comfortable and I love the style. My new favorite summer sandals!

I LOVE these sandals! They are my go to all summer as they are really comfortable and go with just about anything from shorts, to jeans to cute summer dresses. I found that I did not have to break these in at all and was able to spend all day walking in central park without my feet bothering me at all. I did have a problem with the strap coming away from the sole after a short time. I contacted customer support who were extremely nice, professional and easy to deal with. I got a new pair shipped to me the very next day and all I had to do was send back the damaged pair with a return label that they provided at not charge. Thank you to customer service for keeping me wearing my favorite sandals! Can't recommend these enough!

I always wear a 37 in Birkenstock’s despite being a 7.5-8 in other shoes. I hope the toe strap doesn’t break as one of the other reviewers mentioned with the Birko-Flor.

Here’s the scoop. I think the width is mostly true to size, perhaps a hair narrow (which i like). What I’m literally obsessed w is the arch support- for the first time in three year i dont need to wrap my high arches. And the depressed heel bed keeps weight distributed beautifully. I found the toe loop just fine for me and it wasn’t stiff (like it was in the Gizeh thong)

The styles/colors in narrow are Limited so I ordered a pair in the medium width and just tightened The straps a little bit more and they fit as good as the narrow ones

I never really liked the style/look of the classic Birkenstock’s. Now that they have some different styles I thought I would give them a try. I first purchased the Madrid in the EVA and regular sole. They Madrid EVA was way too narrow. The regular sole Madrid was just okay looking. The fit was nice but the style was just, eh. I then purchased the Mayari in the stone color. I love the color and was not sure about the fit, at first. I thought they might be too small. The more I wear them the more the sole forms to my foot and the less it looks like they might be too small. They are super comfy and I really love the style. They are comfort of Birkenstock’s without the traditional look.

Love these Birks. I was skeptical on style and comfort, but after a brief breaking in, I’m a fan for life. Even grabbed my husband a pair! Also-Zappos customer service is amazing. And they didn’t pay me to say this. Customer for life here!!

Love Birkenstocks, period. I've always bought the Gizeh style, and decided to branch out and try the Mayari, love them as well. Be aware you will likely have to buy 2 sizes down from their "recommended" sizing. I usually wear US 7, which says I should wear Birkenstock 38, but 2 returns later the 36 fits perfect.

Bought these for my daughter. She loved the style and comfort. The perfect summer slip-on!

This is my first pair of Birkies in 20 years. I decided to get a pair because I liked the style and color. They are incredibly comfortable! So much so that I ordered another pair in the same style but different color. I have my eye on another color too. However, I will try to restrain myself for a few weeks??. The podiatrist told me I have to wear quality shoes because, after years of wearing ill-fitting shoes, my feet are paying the price.

Love these! I just got back into wearing Birkenstocks and forgot how much my feet love them. After trying on the Gizeh (ouch - that toe divider) and the Arizona soft footbed (soooo comfortable), I ended up keeping the Mayaris because they're way more comfortable than the Gizehs and less bulky-looking than the Arizonas. I bought the antique lace color and they seem like they will go with a lot - very versatile.

My first pair of Birks, so I had a little trial and error figuring out my best size...I first tried the Gizeh in a 39 and a Mayari in 40. I'm usually a 9, but like my shoes with some room. The Gizeh seemed to fit better, and was very pretty, but I found the the toe bar to be too ouchy, so I moved on to the Mayari, which at first seemed comfortable, but maybe just a little too roomy? (they definitely looked too big) I almost kept them, but then decided to send both back and try the Mayari in a 39. (thank you, Zappos, for such great service!) Perfect fit! After a week of breaking in, (they feel hard at first, and the very contoured footbed takes getting used to, even with my high arches) they are SO comfortable and are now my FAVORITE sandals. Plus, I happen to think they're super cute. ;) I want more!

Love these sandals! I Purchased this same style last year and absolutely love them. They are my comfortable around town summer sandals. My pair from last year have a moderate amount of wear but still have many miles left. I added another pair to my collection this summer to have another color to choose from. My favorite style of Birkenstock! The most comfortable in my opinion too

Love these! They are a little dressier than the original brown leather, double wide strapped Birkenstocks.

I have wanted this style of Birks for a few years now but was worried about the toe part rubbing or bothering me. Totally unwarranted concern, they’re super comfy and the magenta color is gorgeous. They’re a nice option for a “dressier” style Birkenstock.

I ordered these for my daughter who is normally a size 7. Based on the reviews we ordered a size down. Great advice because the 6 fit well with even some room to spare. She also is flat footed and these really give her great arch support.

I've had several pair of Birkenstocks and these were no exception to the quality and style I love about this brand. I wear them all the time!

I typically wear a 39 in European sizing, but needed a 38 in these! Also, have never been comfortable with a leather toe piece, but these are just fine. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box.
