I bought another pair of Birkenstocks and really like them, so I found this style to try. Since I now know they come in Narrow. These are very cute! I have a high instep/arch, but I think these will still be fine. I just set my straps and started wearing them. I think the key is to set the strap furthest from the toes snug (but not too much) and the toes just looser than snug. My feet fit just right into the footbed, according to the tag that advises how to wear. Nice to know they can be re-soled also. I'm thinking these get better with time, too. I love my new "hippie" sandals and will probably find even more styles to wear. Sigh.

I had several pairs of Birks in high school and college and I always felt in between the 39 and 40. I wear a size 9, almost always. On extremely rare occasion I have worn an 8.5. I ordered the Granada in the Iron color, and I went with 40 narrow. The size is perfect. Perfect. I read a review on QVC that said the soft footbed ran slightly smaller than the traditional footbed, and maybe so. The shoe actually feels a bit shorter than the 40 regular in the traditional footbed I tried on in the same style in person. So is the slightly shorter length due to the narrow, or the soft footbed? I don't know. The Iron color is a great neutral. I find black unappealing and too harsh, and I while the tobacco is lovely, I thought the Iron looked better for work (elementary school). The shoe has a good bit of strap, while still being attractive, so if I have to run after a kid, I can still move fast and look cute. The soft footbed feels great. Still sturdy like a Birk, but definitely a little squish. You won't confuse them with your Ugg boots, but I can feel the difference. I was also worried that the soft footbed would look weird or different, but they look exactly the same as the regular footbed. It isn't orthopedic or anything. I also would never normally buy a narrow, as I feel my feet are completely average, but width "B" is considered narrow, so I went with that. And Birks run a bit wide for sturdy German feet. They fit perfect. I am so happy! And I ordered Saturday night and received them Tuesday at noon. Thanks Zappos!

I have a narrow foot. So grateful that Birkenstock makes narrow width. These are perfect. First time with the soft footbed and I won't go back.

These are super comfortable and cute. They were my only shoes while traveling for three weeks in Myanmar and Thailand without a break-in period. The only down-side: the leather stretched out quite a bit and I'm going to have to get another hole punched in the straps so that they stay on (this probably happened when they got a bit wet). I am usually a 6 and ordered the 36 and 37. The base was too small on the 36 and the 37 will fit great once I can tighten the straps.

These seem uncomfortable at first glance but are great! I have severe Plantar Fasciitis and wear them in the house constantly. They run big - I wear a size 8 and have normal width but ordered a 38N and they fit perfectly.

I like these because they are a little dressier and I have very few options when it comes to shoes that are both comfortable and a little dressy. Most shoes aren't wide enough for me.

My shoes arrived quickly and were exactly as advertised. The color goes great with jeans and teal - sort of in between indigo and teal.

I love these shoes -- I also have a blue pair -- as a stylish addition to my summer wardrobe. The soft footbed really is comfortable, too.

I have never owned Birkenstocks before now. When I first put them on I loved them. Only concern I have is that both straps are in the next to the last hole so I do hope the leather doesn't stretch too much. I am an average 7.5 women so we will have to wait and see.

I've had Birkenstocks before and love them. I wear a pair of Londons at work as an RN. These sandals I got as everyday walking summer sandals. I definitely think they're cute enough to wear around town without looking too frumpy, and I love the new soft footbed. The suede feels really cool on my feet and the footbed is super comfortable. At the moment the top strap is rubbing on the top of my right foot a little, but I'm still breaking them and I don't think it'll be an issue for very long. Great color too!

These Birkenstock slides are perfect to wear with socks and are my go to when I run to and from the gym. The size of this style is consistent with other Birkenstocks I have worn. The adjustable strap is nice. I can recommend these sandals and mostly I offer high praise for Zappos with their speedy free delivery and easy free returns! I love Zappos!

I was searching for a narrow shoe with good arch support, and let's not forget some style. I discovered with Birkenstock that the best way to achieve this was to buy a model that is exclusively designed for women and not a unisex. The only reason I rated 4 on comfort was the leather strapping is somewhat stiff and will need some breaking in before travel where there will be endless walking... which is the other reason I decided on Birkenstock. They are so lightweight and so packing them is a dream. Overall, I can highly recommend this make, style and size (narrow) for a woman on the hunt for such a shoe.

These shoes are great! They are so comfortable. My feet never hurt after wearing these. I would recommend them to anyone.

I liked the overall fit and comfort but when I walked the straps made marks and hurt my feet. After adjusting them they still were not comfortable so I am trying a couple of other Birkenstock styles.I Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

This is a nice looking Birkenstock, and the soft foot bed is so much kinder to my sensitive feet. But the straps are set further forward than on the Arizona or others. I need my foot to be held down pretty firmly to the sole, so this doesn't work for me. Sadly

I appreciated the more feminine styling; however, the heel cup made a sort of sucking action and silly rather sucking sound each time I would lift my foot in taking a simple step forward. The uppers, buckles, and weight were all good. Sadly, the weird sound during tryon was irritating enough for me to exchange for a different style. (Please wish me luck!)

I usually wear a 9 1/2 narrow. Own a few pair of Birkenstocks in a 40 and I thought they fit but my heel was just on the ridge of the shoe. Tried these in a 41 narrow and they fit better. Just don’t know if another style would be better. These rub my feet on the sides and hurt a little. And the other strap seems to cut into the top of my foot a little but don’t know if these issues are because they’re new.

These are very attractive sandals, and with the soft footbed they are extremely comfortable. I don't think any break-in period would even have been necessary had I kept them. Unfortunately, due to the construction and placement of the straps, my feet kept slipping back, and I never felt securely nestled in the sandals. Regrettably I had to return them.

Just sad it’s a little bit big on my foot. I normally wear a 6-6.5 in shoes and went with the size recommended. It’s a little big next one I ordered would be a 36. Great quality sandal as well as great comfort.

The material was very stiff and hurt my foot. I am sure it would soften up but I just couldn't handle it.

I have worn numerous pairs of Birkenstocks over the years. This style was a lot more narrow in the heel than in years past. I prefer the wider heel. The overall width was more narrow.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 6 years, they are seriously comfortable. I like the Granada style, it's a bit more feminine and I like that. The soft footbed is amazing. I put them on as soon as they arrived, didn't need a break-in period. Thank you Zappos!

I ordered a size smaller based on a review by someone who wore the same size show I wear, and they were to small. I reordered to my size and they fit perfectly. Ordered a narrow and they fit because the shoe is adjustable. I have a bad case of planters fasciitis and have heard that Birkenstock’s help. I have only worn them a few times, and I am still getting used to them. They are a bit stiff. I have high arches and my feet fit the arch perfectly. Only problem I have is the right arch seems to cause some suction and my foot makes a loud noise from the suction which is embarrassing. If I put a bandaid on my arch, the suction goes away. Will update my review after I have worn my shoes longer to see if they help the foot pain.

I originally ordered these in size 39N, but they were too short. Zappos did not have 40N, and I put myself on a waiting list. I received an email the next day that the size was available, and I ordered them. They arrived today and do fit well. I will keep them, but I do have a comment. The shoes look as though they had been worn a bit, and there was a stain on the footbed of the right shoe. I have a fairly strong feeling that someone wore them around the house and then returned them which is why they became available so quickly. I have ordered many times, and this is the first time something like this has occurred. I like the shoe, but at this price they should be pristine.
