LOVE, these shoes... like many others, i too had a pair of these shoes many years ago when they first came out and they were my FAVORITE sandal... the bottom is not too narrow that you feel like you are going to fall over... and THANK YOU ZAPPOS for being so patient... i LOVE this style and for those who said the leather was stiff, for me i was expecting to have to work with the leather, but OMGOSH! no they are softer than i was expecting... so WIN WIN! again thanks to ZAPPOS! Live in AZ so i can wear these all year round...

I had my first pair of these shoes in the 70s and can't imagine why I waited this long for my second pair. They will never go out of style and I had forgotten how comfortable they are. I usually wear size 8-1/2 shoes but in this style the 8 fits me perfectly. (I have several other Kork-Ease styles, including some in size 9.) The leather ages beautifully. Thumbs up.

I've only worn these once. They are super cute. The leather is a bit stiff and kind of dug into the top of my foot a bit. It was not painful to the point I won't wear them, but I am hoping the leather will soften over time.

I wore these in college in the '70s and am so glad they're back! I prefer the Myrna wedge height in the natural color leather. I'm not seeing them right now in Zappos, so I hope they will come back soon. I also love the colors. So summery and cute!

I absolutely love these wedge shoes! I wear them every day work and I have a desk job. They look great with dresses and skirts. I have many ladies stop and asked were I got them from. I have them in every color. I am not a person that can wear flat sandals and have tried many times. But these are just like wearing flats and much more Comfy feeling. I would highly recommend buying these! Love, love, love these shoes!

I wear a 9.5 and need a 9.5 in this shoe. The 9 is too tight across my foot and the 10 is too long for my foot.

I have been wearing Kork-Ease for the last five years and always receive compliments. I replaced my older black Ava's because they simply wore out. I wear them in summer, adding height, which looks great with a maxi dress and in the fall with black opaque stockings. They're lightweight and comfortable! Love my Kork-Ease!

I adore these shoes! I am slightly confused about the reviews urging buyers to purchase one size down, though. I am a size 6.5 medium with just the slightest of bunions from years of dance. I ordered a size 6.0 and couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. I exchanged for a size 7.0 and am very pleased. The size 7.0 was definitely the way to go. They do take a bit of time (2-3 wearings) to break them in, but after that they are heavenly. They give you the look of a high platform or wedge with the comfort of a flat.

These are my second pair of this exact shoe. I wore them out because I wear them ALL THE TIME. They are my "go to" shoe living on the coast of SC. My strap finally blew out on my first pair after 4 years and I immediately ordered another pair from Zappos which arrived the very next day! So thankful for Next Day delivery and a great pair of shoes!

Super comfy! Definitely more casual than dressy, but going for the silver helps uplevel a bit. I normally wear an 8.5 ad ordered a 9, with buckle adjustment it fit just fine.

Awesome style. Awesome comfort. I have been in search for a fashionable cork wedge that's not overly towering and I'm absolutely thrilled with these. The minute I put them on out of the box, I couldn't believe how comfortable they were. The footbed is super cushioned, but more importantly, the extra wide straps ensure that there is no pinching, cutting, or errant pinkie toes. The heel height is the perfect middle ground between practical and va-va-voom... just my style. I bought the oro gold and it is a nice soft gold - not overly shiny metallic. Absolutely perfect!

Cute shoes! I almost always wear a 9, so that's what I ordered and they are too small. I would need a 9.5, but since these don't come in half sizes. I must return them.

A bit tight around the toe area, but I have a wide foot. I will stretch them a bit before a long day of wearing them. I feel as if I'm wearing flats but I love the height.

I love these shoes! I had a pair just like them years ago and was so happy when I found them. Extremely soft and comfortable. No breaking in or blisters.

I was anxious to try them and then I saw that the suede seam on the right shoe sole was not sealed properly. There was a space-looked cheap. So I want another pair. Still love them.

I adore this sandal. Amazingly comfortable, cute enough for everyday wear, and with the platform you would never know it's 3 inches. My only complaint is the elastic behind the buckle stretched out. I'm returning them but getting a new pair. This is my favorite pair of shoes.

Too tight? Try this...I finally got these sandals (I, too, had them as a teen in the '70s). Sadly, they are too tight across the toes, and I am one of the lucky ones who never has problem with shoes. This is the first pair ever that has caused pain. I thought I would have to return them, but I found a solution that works. It is spraying the inside of the leather with a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. The alcohol stretches leather as it dries. I bought small spritzer for a buck at drug store (fits easier into shoe than big bottle) with half 91% alcohol and 1/2 water. At first, I misted them shyly, then I saturated. If some of the alcohol seeps to the outside, don't worry, it will dry undetectable (or just do not be overzealous, as I was. I wanted these things to fit!). After spraying, wear them with socks (beware, might stain socks). I have done this three times and it seems to be working. I tested them for a quick errand, without socks, and no problem. I am going to do it again with some heavier socks, just to make sure. Other than that, these shoes are great. Don't give up on 'em until you try the alcohol thing. There is also something online about freezing with a bag of water inside them, but didn't have to resort to that.

These shoes are awesome! They took some time to break in but I got it done and they are just what I wanted. The price was right, too. These shoes are comfortable when I wear them so all around these shoes are worth the money. I would buy another pair.

This sandal was just what I didn't expect it was better. The sandal is soft and fit wonderful. Will be glad to wear it anywhere.The only thing is that it has felt around the sides of it I worry about getting that dirty? I thought that was also leather. But it is not, will have to be careful.Still love the sandal and plan to wear it a lot.

In sum, I love these. I was admittedly drawn to the Bette style, but decided to get these instead because I need a lot of stability. They didn't disappoint and are fabulous. The crossed straps at the front are pretty tight, so I recommend wearing them in small doses in order to break them in, and the leather does loosen up after a few wearings. I love these and will probably order more!

I loved the shoe however a month after purchasing it, the straps already tore away from the shoe. Now I either have tofind someone who can fix it or I need to spend the money for another pair. The elastic too on the straps tends to stretch out too and probably needs to be replaced. They should be made a little better.

Oh, how these shoes take me back -- to High School days to be exact. Super cute shoes and reasonable comfortable after a short breaking-in period. Just enough height without being over the top for us more mature hippie-types.

Loved these. But they were just too narrow for my wide foot. Wish they made them in wider widths! So Classic and really made very well, much better than the old ones from the '70s.

These are the best shoes I have ever had. So comfortable I can wear them for city walking all day long and they look stylish and funky with just about everything from jeans to skirts.

I ordered 3 pair of wedge sandals with the intention of returning 2 and keeping the one that fit the best. The Kork-Ease won the contest. Because I value comfort and stability over fashionable-ness (is that a word?) I rarely, if ever, wear any shoe higher than 1". However, with a nicer summer dress, a slightly higher shoe looks better, I think. These are cute. Although the straps are wider and, perhaps, less feminine looking than the other shoes I tried, they make for a more comfortable shoe. The difference between the front-height and back-height of the shoe does not cause me to feel like I'm balanced on the ball of my foot only. In other words, my weight feels comfortably distributed from front to back. The width of the heel is also comparatively better and I feel stable from side to side. The other shoes were narrower in the heel and made me think that a loss of balance might result in a twisted ankle. Finally, I have a foot that is on the narrow side of medium. Finding sandals that my feet are not swimming in is a challenge. These were narrow enough for my foot. If you share the concerns I have mentioned, go for the Kork-Ease.
