Fun! A child of the 70's is loving these. They don't kill this old feet either. Just trying to hold on to my youth.They feel great on. My regular shoe size fit me just fine. The cork is very neutral. Go for it! Zappos can though again, with a next day arrival, too!

Perfect summer sandal! Goes great with dresses or jeans, casual or going out to dinner. The color is really warm, a great neutral that would work with lots of skin tones. The sizing runs a little small. Trying them on out of the box, I wished I could order a half size up, but after wearing them a couple of weeks, they've stretched a bit to fit perfectly.

These sandals are amazing! I have 2 pairs and love Korkease. I wear them all day, walking, working, traveling, etc. and never have a discomfort issue. They are cushy and comfy, a definite must for your feet!

I have tried other brands with this platform look and they do not compare. These have a substantial sole so even though they are high platforms you feel very secure and not the least bit tippy. Very cute, very retro. Pricey for me but well worth it. I\'m a happy customer!

I love these shoes! At first, I had a darker color in mind, but I didn't want the dark brown. I decided to tried the natural color, and it really goes with everything. The shoes are extremely comfortable, and they are perfect with shorts or skirts.

I love these shoes! They are super high quality leather, and the cork, or whatever, are cushioned with is amazing. I can walk around the city all day long and my feet feel better than if I had worn flats. I will likely purchase other shoes from this brand in the future.

A Guy review -- Being over 50, these platform sandals tug on my nostalgia really hard; I see hippie chicks and maxi skirts and hot pants and bib overalls with halter tops. When I was just leaving high school (think Life on Mars-1973) I don't think there was a girl without these or "Bare Traps". Okay so these are a bit of a "hard sell" for my younger 80s-girl bride, but she is a good sport and humors me. The low rise makes the high heel comfy. The buff is classic. She has a pretty true 7M and the fit was fine.

I saw these shoes and had a flashback to the 70's…I ordered them in a size 11 but they were too big and returned for the 10 which fit perfect. They are comfortable and easy to walk in. They are not heavy and clunky like the older version. The leather gives good support as well as the back strap which holds your foot in securely. I was so excited to have a nice looking sandal that I ordered another pair in brown. I love the style; it makes your foot look smaller and a bit sexy. Thanks Zappos for your quick service and wonderful staff which are so helpful.

I love these shoes! They look adorable with jeans, but more importantly, they give me the height I need without causing pain. Thanks to the platform, I think the actual heel height is around two inches which is so comfy. Highly recommend!

I used to wear these Kork-Ease Ava shoes in the seventies with rainbow socks (smile). I googled Kork-Ease and found my old style shoes, ordered them and feel in love all over again. The quality is still excellent. I walked allover New York City for the first time wearing them right out of the box. Very comfortable no problems at all, my husband and his friend wearing sneakers complained they wanted to take a cab. I wanted to keep on walking, that's how comfortable they are. I love my Kork-Ease and I am glad I bought them again after all these years. A great summer sandal, I must recommend that everyone should have a pear in their closet. Kork-Ease are a beautiful shoe. Loving it...happy, happy.

These shoes are AWESOME! Soo worth the money! I wore them to the zoo and shopping and my feet didn’t hurt at the end of the day! I was amazed since usually style comes with a price --- pain! They are very easy to walk in considering they are slight platforms. And there is nothing to say about Zappos except---They are WONDERFUL! Zappos is the only online shoe store I will use! They have never disappointed me! Thank you Zappos!

Love these shoes! Memories from childhood when I wasn't allowed to wear the high Korkease! They are actually VERY comfy. I was between sizes and ordered up a half size. My toe was at the edge and went over when I walked just a bit. On the half size smaller.

I purchased these sandals to wear with skirts and jeans in the warmer weather this year. I usually will not spend over $100 dollars on a pair of shoes, but these are so comfortable and versatile I feel it was money well spent. They look great with everything, and once broken in feel great, even walking long distances. They are a little snug at first, but fit very true to size after a few wearings.

I love these. I am a ballet dancer who recently had foot surgery.. I love to wear heels but they have been too painful. since my surgery, I have been able to wear only stiff soled shoes. These are comfortable and fun! I am excited that I have found some height and comfort.. Not to mention the style.. very cool!!!

Awesome shoe. A throw back to the 70s. I admit I bought them out of nostalgia, but they are so modern and cute. And make me so tall. Great with jeans and long skirts... and I wore them out with a short denim dress and got lots of compliments. Great shoe. Great zappos. My usual size seemed just a little shorter than usual… my toes are right at the edge. The size up though was too long. So I stayed with the smaller size - but checking out 2 sizes is worth it with this one.

I reeeeeaaallly wanted to love these, and relive that awesome 70s vibe again, but alas, it was not to be. Unfortunately, Kork-Ease doesn't make half sizes, and I am a textbook size 8 1/2, so I am right in the middle of an 8 and a 9. My perfect fit doesn't exist. Size 8 fits nicely, but looks a bit short in the footbed length, and the straps are always too snug because my feet are a bit wider. So, I tried a size 9. AAaaaarghhh!!! These looked insanely HUGE and clunky and downright ugly. Too bad, because the colors and materials are so nice, and these have a definite 70s boho throwback look! Comfort is nice too. If you are not a half size, go for it! Good Luck!!!

These would be the most comfortable shoes in my closet if it weren't for the back part of the ankle strap, which tends to slip down over my heel when I walk. I don't think I have the wrong size, I just think the placement of the ankle strap is awkward design. Other than that, the shoes feel and look good. They're a good way to add a little bit of height to summer looks without making your feet hurt. They're cuter with skirts than pants for some reason. I have the nude color, which is kinda nerd-chic and goes with everything.

I was so excited when I found these -- my mid-life crisis has me hunting down all my favorite 70's things. These feel great right out of the box; the footbed is cushy and the leather is not too stiff. The height differential between the platform and the heel is perfect -- not flat, just enough lift to be supportive. And they are super cute with extra long flare leg pants (just like junior high!) Unfortunately, I have to return them as the sizing doesn't work for me. Like many people, one of my feet is a bit bigger than the other. The 11 was too big and my smaller foot, and the 10 was too small on my bigger foot. I really need a 10 1/2 which they don't make. So disappointing! It's killing me to have to send these back because they are awesome in every other way!

I admit, I bought these because I had a similar pair in the 70s. These are a bette made sandal but too narrow. The leather appears in the picture to be hard and ungiving but it is actually soft, no rough edges. I usually buy a wide shoe so this may be ok for a normal width foot. It does seem like it would stretch but not enough for me. If you had a pair of these in the 70s, you will love the style. I will probably go for the other Korkease style that has the buckles which I can adjust for widt.

These shoes are adorable and I would have kept them, except I didn't realize they are suede all around the wedge. That's not durable enough material for me on such a large surface area; I know it would not retain its good looks with wear. FYI, to me these shoes run narrow. My foot is a true N (A) and they are just a little loose on me (most M widths are very loose), and the footbed is not much wider than my foot.

I ordered these a little hesitantly because it is a pet peeve of mine when sandal uppers are too short (meaning, you have to stretch them way out before your foot slides comfortably in). Sure enough, these shoes have that problem! I have small feet, and even so, these are going to have to stretch out before they are comfortable. The heel strap sits way low on my heel as well, so it's pretty annoying. If they would just make the straps a little longer, it would be great. They will fit fine once they stretch, but that usually takes a while. Other than that, they are very comfortable and I can see myself wearing them all summer. I would like them better if the straps were thinner overall - they would be cuter that way. I usually wear between a 6.5 and 7, and ordered these in a 6 based on other reviews. The length is just right.

Really wanted these, but the straps in the toe area pretty wide for my archless foot! Cute style, have to keep looking.

Thank you again, Zappos for a great customer/retailer interaction. Nice shoes, made well, true to size, however, I have to return them due to the fact that I have a wide foot and it did not allow for it. If you are a true medium width and are not a true wide then this is a terrific buy.
