Ahhhhh...my vintage Kork-Ease wedges are back and Zappos has 'em! I used to wear my original pair in the 70s to discos, parties, school, etc. and I felt so cool in them. Now I am in my 50s, not as cool as I used to be, but these gave me a smile the second I slipped them on my feet. I do feel the sizing is a bit small. I usually wear a 9 or so, but went up to a 10 and they fit fine. These are comfortable, hip, and just plain sweet! I am wearing them with my capris and skirts now, and will wear them paired (just like in the 70s!) with funky socks for winter. I can almost hear KC and the Sunshine Band in the background again! I am so glad that these are being made again. They are really comfortable straight out of the box, too.

This is my fourth pair of Kork-Ease I have ordered from Zappos! I love them! They are cute and very comfortable! Get compliments all the time! Zappos is fantastic! I ordered standard delivery but received them the next day! I have been a fan of Zappos for many years and will continue to do so!

Kork-ease are the best. Because of the platform, they are very comfortable, great to wear with extra long jeans. Makes me feel I\'m back in the 70s. The cork-look of the straps is unusual and cool looking.

Very comfortable and cute shoes! They seem to fit snugly, but fine for me--I have narrow feet but wide toes and they fit fine, whereas other shoes are too wide or the toe area is too tight. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I ordered these shoes last year from Sundance in a different color. I loved the shoes and was pleased to find them for less money this year at Zappos. The delivery service is very fast, and I still love the shoes. They are very comfortable, and make me taller. I also like that they are leather and cork natural materials.

Bought these for my granddaughter. She tells me all the girls have them. She has not taken them off. Loves them as does everyone who sees her in them.

Great sandal. I had a pair in 70's. Shipping was fast. I have a wide foot and they need a little breaking in. But love them.

Very cute shoes, but the straps were hurt the top of my big toe.

I love these shoes, but could not keep them. The uppers were very big on my size 10 shoe and my foot slipped all over the foot bed making the shoe rub and lack a secure feeling. There is also no arch at all. I did find them to be of high quality and look just as I remembered my pair in 9th grade!

Shoe leather is a bit hard on the feet and gave me blisters on top of toes just testing out walking around my house. Also the color felt too orangey and not exactly what I expected. I do love Kork-Ease shoes in general but they are expensive and for that price they need to feel perfect. May consider a different color and brave the break in period.

I love this style. I have few other pairs in different colors. The straps that go across the toe on this particular pair are really tight. They aren't as comfortable as my previous pairs. Am debating on returning them.

I wear a 6.5 and these come in whole sizes so I bought a size 7. They were a little big. I only wore them two times when I came home to find my puppy chewed the left sandal to pieces. So - I liked these so well, I bought another pair and bought the size 6 which fits much better. I like the neutral color as they go with lots of different outfits. They are super comfortable!

I love the style of these sandals but they do run quite small. I usually wear a 9 medium width and the are too narrow and somewhat short in the length. Will try a 9.5 wide and hope it works better.

I love my Kork-Ease - however, I had to have the elastic in the buckle replaced within a year. The elastic was cheap for the price of these shoes. The cost to repair was much less than replacing a good pair of shoes, but I don't think that I should have had to do that within a year. I still love them and wear them often!

I looked at these shoes for a few weeks and finally they went on sale, which was even better news. I also read many of the reviews which were extremely helpful. I have a wider foot and a size 9 and a half. These shoes are slightly narrow,medium width fit me fine, but I had to go with a size ten, they don't offer them in half sizes. The leather and construction are first rate. I would really like to see Kork Ease offer more shoes "made in America." What can I say Zappos, you are great!

I wore my previous pair of black patent Avas with cork wedge to the ground. So comfortable and cute - made me tall but incredibly stable on my feet, like I was wearing flats. But different parts of the straps kept coming loose from the platform over the years until I got tired of fixing them (did anybody else have that problem?). But I missed my Kork-Ease and bought two when they went on sale on Zappos. The black Ava's were fine, although the suede platform did not feel as "flat" and stable as the old cork platform. The natural Ava's leather straps were stiff and loud. The sole was also wobbly and felt unstable unlike the others. I kept the black pair and returned the natural pair. You may wish to try a couple different pairs also. I wear 6 1/2 or 7 and have wider feet, and the 7 fit perfectly.

I have been wanting these for a while, but am a 7 1/2 and ordered the 8 and they were too big and wide. They also weren't as comfortable as I expected -- the straps were stiff and made noise when I walked around in them. They just felt too big and bulky so I'll be returning them.

Love these sandals. They go with everything and are so comfortable. The leather is a little squeaky when you walk, which bothers me, but they're worth it!

First of all, these shoes are super cute! I love the way my legs look in them with jeans or dresses. With painted toenails they look simply adorable, and the cork sole is light enough to make them pretty easy to walk in. But, there has definitely been a breaking in period with these shoes for me. I got blisters on my big toe and my pinky toe where the straps rub while walking, but I think the leather is stretching out and will later form to the shape of my foot. I believe that once the shoes break in, they will be very comfy to walk all over the place in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for these.

I absolutely adore these shoes, but they just did not work for me. The cushioned sole makes you feel like you are walking on pillows, and the platform provides height without discomfort. However, I think they run a bit small - I am a true size 7, and size 7 in these shoes were a bit short so that my toes felt like they were curling over the end, and the cross straps rubbed my little toe. I am afraid that size 8 would be way too big. I wish Kork-Ease made half sizes! I had to return these after two wears, I was super sad. That being said, I am a regular customer and Zappos' customer service cannot be beat!

This shoe is very comfortable. It looks nice on my feet. It's well made, feels sturdy and gives you a boost in height if that is an option to consider. It is true to size. If you have a wider feet like a C or D, this might fit because after wearing it for a week, the leather softens conforms more to your feet, feels a little more room to wiggle in but comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 medium and my feet is a little bit on the wider side. Love shopping at Zappos!

I have several pair of Kork-Ease Ava's, and have always worn a size 7. They recently changed the type and quality of leather as well as the construction of the upper part of the shoe, the straps, in such a way that also affected the sizing and comfort level, at least for me. Previously, the upper part of the shoe, which includes all of the straps, was made of a soft, supple, natural type leather, which was very forgiving, accommodating, and conformed easily to one's foot. In the more recent Ava model, the upper part of the shoe is comprised of a totally different type of leather. Stiff, thick and unforgiving, certainly not the soft, supple, conforming leather as before. The size 7 was actually extremely painful, no way I could wear it. Which I returned and then subsequently re-ordered in a size 8. The size 8 will work, and while it seems comfortable enough, it still doesn't have the same soft, natural, supple feel of the originals I have purchased over the last few years. The leather is completely different and seems actually of lower quality. While still a fairly decent product, it's no longer an excellent one, in my opinion, so when all is said and done it is rather disappointing. Why such an established company would make such decisions to lower the quality of a fine product, well, whatever their explanation it's not acceptable, in my opinion. That old phrase comes to mind, "if it's not broke, don't fix it."
