I have been wearing Softwalk brand shoes since 2005! After I bought my first pair, I couldn't stand anything else. They are so comfortable. The egg-crate cushioning of the liner are heaven. I have found one pair to last me at least a year, usually more; everyday wear even! And I tend to be pretty hard on shoes. They give moderate arch support for my high arches and have always been true to size. I have ordered an 8.5 W since 2005 (and my feet haven't changed), so when I ordered the usual size in the black smooth leather with rubber dots, I was confident that they would fit. nope. I found these to be a bit tighter than their other styles and the brown egg-crate liner I am so used to was a black suede material. Guess what? After wearing them in the house for 30 min., black feet! My feet hadn't felt sweaty at all, but apparently the dye from the shoe had stained my feet smashingly! Who wants that? I don't wear socks w/ mules (ugh), so these just won't work. I want my plain brown liner back! They also feel a little like you are balancing on stilts or something. Only the ball and heel of the shoe touch the ground and they seemed a little high at 2 3/4. Back they go!

I have a high arch and could not even begin to get my foot into this shoe. I had noticed in the video that one of the shoes the model had on looked too small but now I know she could not get her foot into the shoe. There isn't enough room. I don't know if going up a full size would do it but would be the shoe would just be too big.

This shoe is comfortable, and it fit well. It looks okay. I can't explain why I don't love the looks, but it just doesn't look like I spent the money I did on it. Also, it is too hot to wear now that it is spring. It's like putting an oven on your feet. The look of the shoe is disappointing since it is comfortable, and with the issues I have with my feet, I need comfort. But, I'd also like style, and I think that's what is lacking with this shoe.

I love the foot bed on this brand of shoes, but this pair is tight across the foot. I am on my feet all day and they are difficult to wear.

Narrower than expected - Great looking shoe, fantastic footbed, however shoe is very narrow. I wear an 8.5 medium width and shoe was much too narrow. Would recommend purchasing wider width shoe.

I was sooo sad to have to return these. Cute and comfortable clogs! Unfortunately the footbed was different than advertised. The black edges that Zappos advertised didn’t exist. The gray egg carton footbed came clear to the outer edges which completely changed the appearance and durability. The clogs also made an obnoxious sound like walking on plastic wrap.

Not at all as pictured. Thought they looked like really soft leather and that they had a cool look. Leather is stiffer and they do not look cool as in hip. They have a librarian vibe !

I recently purchased two pair of your Murietta clogs. I am disappointed in them. I had such high hopes after reading the reviews about the clogs. I had a major surgery that requires me to wear clogs and these sounded perfect. I walk a lot and within 3 week the soles are very worn, the lining of the clog has worn through and the leather will be next. I am not heavy. I am 5 ft. 8 in. and weigh 120 lbs. so the wear is not due to weight. I do not feel these shoes were made for walking. I agree with one of the comments in a previous review. Your feet do slide forward in the shoe due to the cushioning. Also the band on the front of the shoe does rub and can be uncomfortable if not worn with socks. My hopes were so high. I thought I had found the perfect shoe. My hopes have been dashed. The shoe is not perfect and does not seem to be made well or made for someone who walks a lot. I think these will be ready for the garbage in a month or so by the way they are wearing out. I'm not a satisfied customer. I did receive wonderful service from Zappos. It's the shoes that are the disappointment.

The name is what sold me, but also mislead me. Not soft and not a walking shoe, and a little bit sloppy. I work without sitting down 12-16 hours a day. I didn't last 10 minutes walking around on my carpet in these; the insoles hurt my calloused areas. Better off with Clarks, Ahnu, Naot, or Keens.

SO comfortable. As comfortable as good running shoes. They look OK, too. 4 stars for "style" instead of 5 because, TBH, I'm just not that into clogs, but I needed a comfortable closed toe summer shoe. They're great.

I wear these for air travel bc I can kick them off and put them on easily. They’re good looking, and give me an inch of height. Good foot support for these 64-year old feet too

My old brown Softwalk clogs finally wore out after over 10 years of faithful service and a lot of mucking in the garden toward the end. After spending 8 agonizing hours standing on cement unpacking boxes in inadequate canvas sneaks, I headed to Zappos and found these replacements. The heel height is just enough to relieve pressure on knees, hips and lower back, the cushioning is excellent and the roomy toe box make my fat little feet happy.

Love the shoe. The heel is slightly larger than I would like but the options are limited for this type of slip-on shoe - - guess I will just be a little bit taller than my hubby! The inner sole is very comfortable. Leather is beautiful craftsmanship. Very pleased with the shoe.

Width is perfect with no socks. Felt they could be a few mms longer but even with that they are SO comfortable. They have a cushioned ‘bumpy’ footpad which is nice on the bare feet.

Perfect fit and extreme comfort and arch support. Versatile attractive shoes with nice lines—not at all clunky

My little toe ate the lining of this clog. There was a hole in it in less than a month. YES! I do take care my nails are short!

“Like walking in slippers” said my mother. Bought these for my mom as she has a wide foot and high arch and shoes are difficult to find. She loved them!

Excellent - bought these for my mom who has problems finding proper fitting shoes (high arch and wide foot)... she took them out of the box and wore them all day! Said they were like slippers and ordered another colour immediately. She wants a brown pair for Fall.

Love these shoes! So comfortable. Like walking on little cushions. I needed shoes I could wear to work all day and not hurt my feet. These are wonderful. They hug my feet and don't slide around. Not particularly glamorous or sexy, but they're not meant to be. These are all about the comfort. I think they look fine with black work pants. Would buy again.

I love these shoes, they feel as if I am walking on air. I have a wide foot and I discovered that I required a "WW"; because just wide was okay but a little snug. I receive quite a few compliments on my shoes daily.
