These shoes are awesome...beautiful, comfortable, go with everything but they run narrow. I needed my normal size in wide instead of medium.

Good all around - These are perfect with jeans or casual pants. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or a 7. I ordered the 7 based on the reviews I read. The 7 felt short in the beginning but after wearing them around, I'm pretty happy with the fit. For those with a high arch, the top of the band hits the top of my arch and becomes uncomfortable after an entire day of wearing them. If I were to buy another pair and had plans on wearing them most of the day, I'd order a 7 1/2 just to see if that size would be more comfortable.

A bit smaller than standard size 7, but not as much as a half size smaller. These are pretty comfortable and as described. They don't tend to "tip" sideways or fall off when you are walking fast as other styles have. The pattern on the black leather is somewhat more pronounced than expected but fine. Good product.

Extra wide feet - I ordered the Murietta's in an extra wide the second time, as a wide just doesn't fit without hurting my feet, and I am pleased to say, that did the trick! I would prefer that this particular one came in a plain leather with no design, but you can't see it that much, so it'll do. Anyway, Zappos is always so good about returns and such...thanks Zappos! By the way, if you order an open back shoe, it's wise to go down a half size.

Nice design, high heel

Too small for size 6,

I've been buy Dansko for years and thought I'd try something different. For me, on this SoftWalk shoe the sole was too narrow -- I tended to wobble just a bit. The insole has an egg carton like cushioning, which I do not care for. Also, since I know I'm hard on shoes, the insole is a material that I believe would most likely wear out sooner than the rest of the shoe. :-) However, all that said, it is a very nice show and the fit is lovely!!

Like another reviewer said, it doesn't feel like there is enough room in the toe box. I exchanged them for a wide (which I never wear) but the left shoe bugged me all day long. They were okay, but I should have returned them before I wore them. Not something I would be able to run around in all day.

The shoes were great except Softwalk changed the area around the outside of the heel to a light grey color, which completely ruins the look when wearing with black pants. Previous versions had black around the outside of the heel.

They were super comfortable and a good color (burgundy). The leather was beautiful and the inside of the shoe was cushioned, but these shoes were just not pretty enough for me and I am returning them.

I really tried to like these and thought I would because of the cushy feel when I first put them on but just wearing them around the house, my foot slid too much forward and my toes would hit the end and there would be leftover shoe sticking out the back, looking like they were too big. So sorry but forvtha5 price, they are being sent back.

Too rounded in the toe. My feet are tiny so my feet looked even tinier.

This was nearly perfect for me BUT TOO HIGH. The heel height made my foot slip forward. The toe is curved upward, and the enforced rocking motion when walking was actually uncomfortable for me, and very "clompy" sounding. Crushingly, the shape of the foot of the shoe and toe room are perfect for me. I'm very sad I have to return these. If they were 1" high, I'd probably purchase 3 pair.

These are good solid shoes, well made and I think they will last for many years to come. They are less comfortable than most clogs I've owned, less roomy and an unnecessary stiffness in the toe angle. If I realized they looked more professional than casual I probably would have just bought the Dansko equivalent.

Great shoe, just not for me. I thought it ran a little large plus, it was so well padded inside, including the footbed, that I thought it was unstable on me. Great shoe, just not for me. Oh, I wish they'd bring back those Merrell clogs I love so much!

I got the olive green Murietta because I loved the color & needed olive to complete some outfits, however, I'm not thrilled with the shoe for 2 reasons: 1. The insole is very slippery, especially when wearing stockings/knee-highs, so slippery that if I'm walking at full-stride in a hurry, the shoe has almost flown right off my foot. Wearing socks helps ameliorate that problem, but I still find that I'm using my toes to clutch the shoe so that it stays on. 2. The other reason I'm not thrilled with the Murietta is that the shoe is not very deep, meaning that although I'm wearing my correct size, it feels like I've only got my foot half-way in the shoe, so when your foot is fully in the shoe, the shoe isn't very far up your instep. So I only wear my olive green Murietta's for the "look" of them, on days when I'll primarily be sitting and when the day won't require me to walk in a hurry.

Cute, but I saw an obvious cutting/sewing flaw in the leather--in a corner where the upper meets the sole--that I'm pretty sure would get stretch and begin to come apart with wear. Also, the top of the upper felt too tight, like it was digging into insteps as I walked. I do have wide feet, but these were size 6 1/2 Wide. I had the same exact problems--including the location of the sewing issue--in another SoftWalk clog I tried. Will not be trying this brand again. I must admit I have a bias against anything manufactured in China. I don't trust the integrity of the materials used, and I don't appreciate companies' letting quality slide by sending work overseas to save money.

I have been ordering these shoes (Murietta) for a couple of years and initially had no problems. They are very comfortable and having developed a heel spur, were the only shoes I could wear all day without discomfort. My spur hasn't given me problems recently, unlike the last 2 pair of these shoes I ordered. The round bottom inset in both pairs (brown and black) began clicking when I walked and popped out of the shoe. I have tried to glue them back in and they stay for a bit, then pop out again. Very annoying! Wonder what have they been doing differently to cause this to happen? I will try to locate a shoemaker and have the inset put back by them to see if that will work. Sad to say, I hesitate to reorder if the product is being made more cheaply. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue also.

What a wonderful comfortable clog, I love these clogs except I find the heel and the sole to be wearing flat at a rapid pace, soon they while not provide any traction.

These shoes are cute, have a very cushioned sole, and provide good support, and I have feet with high arches. However, the reason I had to return these shoes is because the bottom of the shoe is made from hard plastic with an odd spin design that makes walking on any surface without slipping impossible. There is no traction to the bottom of these shoes, which is a huge oversight. I thought maybe it was just the floors in my house, but when I went on a brief trip to the store, they were slipping off the gas pedal in my car, and I also slipped a few times in the store. For such expensive shoes, I would expect better traction. I am sticking to my Danskos from now on.
