Seems like a solid sandal, a bit on a heavy side wight wise. I returned as found another style that my husband likes better. Tried two pairs: size 9 in 4E and 6E. The sole seems to be exactly the same size on both, but the strips are a bit longer on 6E. The sandals top is leather, but the lining is some synthetic cloth and not very soft, but don't know how it would perform.

Have been wearing these sandals for several years. They are comfortable and come in my size. See I wear a 6E width and there are not that many sandals that are available for me. As much as I appreciate these, I loved them even more when they were available in black in a size 11 6E.

I've been wearing these sandals for the past 8 years. With my extremely pronated and thin feet, its very hard to find a sandal I can wear, but these have been outstanding! I was thrilled to see they are still being made. I would have given a 5 star rating, except I ordered a size C for my thin feet, which was not available for my last pair and I still had to cut 1 1/2 inches off the middle strap so it doesn't stick out so far. Otherwise, worth every penny.

Have bought these for my son twice ... he wears a 6E width, hard to find in sandals especially. These are a bit narrow for a 6E. If not for velcro straps, he couldn't wear them. Also needs more cushioning ... there's not much at all and not much arch support, for a sandal in this price range. Wish there were other choices in wide widths for men AND women.
I'd also recommend:
Zappos doesn't have many options in wide widths. I wear WW or 2E, womens, no sandals I can wear.

I have narrow feet, they are a pretty good fit but not quite as narrow as I would have liked. They seem well made but since they are from China I think a fairer price would be about 60.00 dollars.

Good sandals ... but! I've gotten them before and I know they stretch a lot after a few wearings. My shoe repair guy has to work on them.

Exceptionally comfortable on my old, very wide foot. Not a thing of beauty, but.... Only downside is the velcro strap is so long that it goes over my big foot, latches in place and still hangs loose for a couple of inches. When these wear out, I'll buy more.

Good looking. Good quality. The olive color is nicer and less bright green than pictured. The only issue was the sizing. They were at least a half size shorter than expected. And the D (Medium) width seemed wider than expected. My husband, who normally takes medium, couldn't tighten the straps enough to fit. Exchanged for a different brand.

Seriously comfortable sandals. They are lighter weight than I expected and are easy to adjust. Time will tell on durability. They seem well constructed.

Incredibly comfortable out of the box. Nice construction and light weight. You’re not going to win any style points, but if you’ve got extra wide feet like me, you’re probably used to the style vs. comfort compromise. Looking forward to seeing how durable they are.

Nice shoe. They had supple leather with good arch support. However, the toe box just seemed too short.

I've been wearing these for years and just had to retire my most recent pair after putting on about 1800 miles total over the last year and a half. I've been really happy with how well they wear and how adjustable they are. I probably could have done a few hundred more miles on the soles, but the footbed really is what seems to go first but I can't seem to find replacements. As someone with a really wide toebox and pretty high arches it's always amazing to find something that is so darn comfortable.

Fit was good. I wore a different style of Dunham which waws unavailble in my size so I chose these. Main difference between styles is that these have velcro on both ends of the heel strap compared to my old ones that passed through a loop. The heel strap seems weaker and the ends on these tend to stick out because there is less velcro than those with velcro on one end. the velcro ends of the heel strap hang out enough that they tend to hit on things like chair legs.

The first time I bought these sandals, they were among about a dozen pairs that I ordered. My intention was to choose the best of the lot, and send the rest back.
Many of the other sandals seemed to be designed by people who had never actually tried to wear them – straps that were too short, insufficient velcro strips, weird construction that caused things to scrape against the foot, etc.
Slipping into these was like butter. Really comfortable, easy to adjust for the perfect fit, really attractive.
My only complaint is that they don't last as long as I'd like. Even though I didn't wear them very much (in NYC, there are only so many months warm enough to wear sandals), I still had to replace them after only a couple years. Of course, I bought the same exact sandal as a replacement because it was still the best option I was able to find on Zappos.

My husband did not like these. He had some of the slide version of the Dunham sandals which he loved. However they quit making them years ago. He wore those to death and the Dunham brand holds up well to heavy use. They are a great brand that offers wide widths. These however were not his favorite and he sent them back. He prefers the slide version and found the heel strap to be annoying. One positive though is Dunham's use of the adjustable foot straps across the top of the foot. That is useful for people with high arches and wide feet. I continue to watch for the slide version of these to come back. They are good comfortable sandals though, especially for wide feet or heavy use. The brand definitely holds up well. He wore his Dunhams for almost ten years! Just wish they would put out a side version again. I ended up getting him the Olukai slide sandals in standard width and those fit his 4E feet quite well. But overall this is a good brand.

I tried alot of sandals from DXL. This Pair was the only one that meet my exacting demands of what my I deal sandal.
They do run narrow so a wide fixs that. thanks for that review tip. the footbed is comfable and removable. I do wish they sold replacement footbeds, so you could exchange them to extend the life of you sandal and the comfort. the straps on the wide are long so wide feet will like that, but regular feet will find the sandal a little loose over time.
I walk al over in my sandals and I am no small man. I have joked for years that I sould test shoe. because I can find almost any defect in a footwear in a short time. So if I give a good review of a footwear should hold up to just about anything.
over all good by with the rigth dis count 20 / 30 as the base P is a slightly over P. Due to sizing issue and lack of replacemet footbed.

This are a comfortable and nice to wear. These can be worn form long periods of time with minimum pian. The width is way narrow, so do go up in with. I'm not a wide foot but I had to get the EEW fight right.

This a nice, relatively inexpensive sandal that feels pretty comfortable. I'd prefer it without the adjustment straps for the heel, but it doesn't need to be readjusted. Just note that this sandal runs incredibly narrow! I usually wear a 'normal' width shoe - I had to go with 4E (!) to get these to fit. The 'normal' width version was comically tiny around the toes.

I have had two pairs and am ordering a third, so I do like them. They are a nice style, provide excellent comfort from the first day. But the length of the bottom strap (across the toes) is way too short, at least on the 10, 4E width. There is barely enough Velcro overlap on the pair I have. Bad or lazy design - perhaps they are using the same strap length regardless of width of the sole? I am going to try a 6E and we will see.
