My husband wears size 13 narrow and these are the first comfortable sandals he has ever owned. All others have been so wide to be utterly uncomfortable. While my Zappos raves have been many, he was impressed by the rapid service and delighted with the purchase. So, now he is a Zappos believer!

Looked locally for sandals that would compare to my 10 year old Dunhams, which have been my choice to wear to the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh every year. They held up under some very difficult weather conditions over all those years, logging at least 30 miles per visit. The Airventure is a weeklong aviation event in Wisconsin. After trying everything available in the local (many) footwear stores, finding nothing even close to my worn out sandals, I decided to go to Zappos, and order their latest version of the Dunham. They arrived, and I had no idea they would be so comfortable. Haven't had anything lately that was so wonderfully comfortable and supportive right out of the box. Great design for ultimate creature foot comfort. Think I will be getting a spare pair to have a back up.

I've been ordering these sandals for years. They are well made, true to size and comforable. Dunham has created a footwear line that works, and they haven't tried to fix it. I like that.

Great sandals. Good arch support for a sandal. One important warning: they stretch!

I'm usually a 10.5 4E, but they don't carry half sizes and my feet have been more swollen recently than usual (diabetes), so I ordered an 11 4E in brown and an 11 6E in black. I'm glad I ordered the 6E because it fit perfect width wise and there was still plenty of room for the top velcro straps. The brown 4E's definitely did not look like a 4E width. They looked more like a Wide. It was a good idea to go for the size 11 rather than the size 10. Comfortable and a big plus for me is the detachable back strap since I have trouble putting on my shoes. Both colors were the same as in the picture. Very nice looking.

Ordered for my son, who has wide feet but has been consistently a size 12 across most brands for a couple of years. These sandals felt a full size too small - his toes were sitting right at the front tip of the sandal. Tried a size 13 which felt much better. In both pairs, he complained that a seam across the back of his heel rubbed, so we are returning. The shoes seem sturdy and the style is classic, but they didn't work for us.

These are by far more comfortable than a previous pair of sandals that I owned. In fact, they are amazingly comfortable. I have only owned one other pair of sandals previous to this so I don’t have a lot to compare it to but I’m extremely pleased with these. The only quibble I have is they’re not quite as narrow as I would have liked or expected. I have size 14 feet that are very narrow and so I ordered these in the narrow size. These do fit but barely… with the straps pulled as far as they can go they are just snug enough but there is almost 2 inches of excess strap hanging out that tends to catch on things. But that’s minor in my opinion considering how comfortable they are.

Bought these years ago! Found and purchased them again. Fit is so comfortable. Would recommend them for outside activities.

I have a very narrow foot and was buying the same sandal in a narrow width, however, the latest pair is too wide so they did not fit.

This is a repeat performance. I wore out the first pair after constant use. My local shoe store stopped carrying them, so Zappos came through for me. Local show guy showed that the sandals also have an easy way to insert an orthotic - which I don't need, but cool feature. I tried several other sandals, but a brief walk on the carpeted concrete proved they were not to be considered, looks aside, because my feet felt no cushioning. With my weight and wide feet, (let's say I'm not petite), the soles are very comfortable. Not having a thing between big and next toe is appeciated. I can forget that I have them on. I wear white athletic socks with them, so, the fashion police around the house have commented that this is a violation, but it keeps my feet clean and cool. Even so, they're stylish, well made and I should probably order a backup.

These sandals fit perfectly right out of the box. The straps fit securely. I have had no slippage of the straps, rubbing on my feet, etc. They have a nice natural looking leather look. They are easy to get on and off but still very sturdy once strapped. Love them

fit was perfect. hubby has been getting this sandal for years and they never disappoint! he has 6E wide feet and sooo difficult to find shoes that fit and are comfortable! Zappos is our "go to" site. we love their fast shipping, quality and no fuss return process!!!
