My job requires a lot of walking, a couple of miles a day, and these shoes are the best I've found. They're so comfortable I never think about them and the mesh helps keep my feet cool. The mesh also makes them less than the best for rain or cold, but the comfort trumps all. I have hip, back, and knee issues that many shoes exacerbate, but not my Earths! Based on my experience with these shoes, I will be investing in Earth boots, too.

Super comfy! Love the footbed, extremely lightweight, perfect fit. My only small issue is the stitching on the inside of the toe box area is sort of rough on my bare feet. All in all, a great shoe for the money!

Just got 'em! Love 'em! Yes, this is a very early review, but I have a feeling that all will go well. My arches feel exceedingly supported, which was a must, they fit perfectly, and they feel comfortable. Perfect for running around an ER for 12 hours! Thanks Zappos!

The sneakers fit well and have excellent arch support. They are also very lightweight when you wear them.

These shoes are great! Very comfortable, great arch support. I don't even need my orthotics! I am on my feet all day and I'm very happy with them. Also, since I started wearing Earth shoes last October, my knees are pain free.

I've been dealing with heel pain for a while and found the Acadia's to be extremely comfortable for around the house. So I figured I'd try the Exer-Trainers for work. I stand all day, when I'm not climbing ladders or stairs. By the end of the day, my heel would be in pain after wearing regular sneakers all day. With these, no pain! Even though I'm used to the Acadia's, the Exer-Trainers did get some getting used to it time. But I'm not complaining. I actually like how they look (they're on the grey side, so dirt doesn't show up as easy). They're plenty wide, but since they're kind of pointed, they don't look enormous.

This is a great workout shoe. I love the Earth heel - it completely fixed my plantar fasciitis, which is why I purchased another pair of these after my first pair eventually wore out. I also like that these look like "normal" tennis shoes instead of the hippieish look a lot of this brand's shoes have.

I love these shoes! They fit perfectly and not the best looking shoes I own but definitely the best for walking and exercising which is why I bought them! Zappos is the only place I shop for shoes now.

Extremely comfortable and flexible shoe with excellent spring for walking. I could even run in these if I had to, unlike the heavier, stiffer, uncomfortable Earth Kinetic Vegan shoes, which will be donations to charity. If you are a regular exerciser involved in other sports that build leg muscles/don't need to bulk your legs any more then this is a better shoe for you.

Love this shoe. I have a huge issue with plantar fasciitis, and have had for many years. I have tried every shoe under the sun to get some relief. This is my second pair of Earth shoes, and I am sold. My pain never goes completely away, but I can get through my day and not feel like I am walking on my ankles. This shoe is ugly, so if you're looking for cute, this isn't the shoe for you. If you are looking for a great, durable, comfortable shoe, this is it. These shoes run true to size also.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've bought in a long time. They are light in weight which is great. I have found something to delay my having to have foot surgery. Will be purchasing them in another color as well.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe to just walk around in during my daily schedule. I always wore my running shoes which hurt my feet because they were too tight.I bought these because it was said that they had a wider toe and deeper grooves on the soles for better movement. They are definitely the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. It has good arch support, plenty of room for your toes without squishing them and are very light.I didn't realize they were supposed to help tone your legs. I haven't noticed much toning, but I definitely feel my legs working more when I walk. The heel area is a lot lower than usual, so it's almost as if you're walking on your heels. It took a while to get used to, but now it feels like I'm doing some work when I walk which I like.

Very comfortable shoe. A great deal of padding around the collar. I love Earth shoes. I have a high inflexible arch and they keep my feet from aching after a long day. These particular shoes are great for walking. Zappos is a great company too...quick and reliable!

Love the shoes, wish I would have gone up 1/2 a size. They are very lightweight. I do quite a bit of walking outside so they don't feel like they are dragging you down.

These shoes take a bit to get used to walking in them but they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

My heels don't hurt! I had been developing plantar fasciitis from wearing high heels at work, and also from circuit training (jogging in place, etc). I thought I'd try Earth brand to see if it would help. It did! I wear them in town for walking and also for working out. Even around the house like slippers to help stretch my calves. They are so comfortable, I don't have any issues with the lower heel technology. It feels great! Super arch support, too. I have high arches and wide feet. These shoes are the bomb! I usually wear an 8 but in these I got a 7.5.

These are great, super comfortable, great for the gym. I wore them to work one day for 12 plus hours. My feet did not hurt at all. I love Earth shoes; this is my 4th pair. The only bad thing about them is they do run wider than any other Earth shoe I have.

I use these shoes to walk for exercise, and to work out using weights and elliptical trainers and such. I'm not a runner. I got these after reading about the negative heel, which I thought would help with my plantar fasciitis. It does. I can walk for hours and not get any heel pain. They're very light. I can see why people say the soles are too thin, but the soles feel fine to me. They do have some hard seams and rough places inside, mostly up near the toes, and I have to choose socks carefully -- if a shoe seam meets a sock seam, they're guaranteed to mate and birth a blister. I suppose they sacrificed some padding to make the shoe lighter; I wish they hadn't, but I can live with compensating for that problem because of how much they help with my heel problem. The shoes feel extra long, but not unusually wide. They're not hard to walk in and I don't feel like my foot is sliding around, so I'm not sure whether they're really half a size larger than marked or not. The one unqualified bad thing I have to say about these shoes is this: I think they're ugly, even by workout shoe standards. They appear enormous. The grey color is dull and makes it look as if you managed to get your feet uniformly dirty. The silver shiny bits are useful in that they're reflective at night, but in the daytime they seem extra shiny and I feel like they're calling attention to my apparently enormous, uniformly dirty feet. I'm not that sad about it because they're good to walk and work out, but if you're looking for cute, comfy shoes to wear with your jeans for sight seeing or shopping or something, I don't think these are your answer.

I wasn\'t crazy about the shiny silver. The toe is more pointed than the Earth Ambition or Earth Exer-Walk and the end of my great toe rubbed. There was ample room across the metatarsal area, though. I sent them back.

I love the Earth Exer-Trainer. It\'s extremely lightweight and provides adequate support. The wider toe area is great. Even though I\'ve worn Earth shoes for a while wearing the Exer-Trainers for fairly fast, intense movement required a bit of getting used to the balance. Overall I\'m very satisfied.

I love, love, love the Exer-Trainer! I have pretty bad posture. With these shoes I am able to stand up tall and straight. I wear them to just about everywhere. I will be getting my second pair very soon.
