After reading the reviews of running large, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller - 9, instead of my usual 9.5. The weird thing is, they kind of fit in front, but were big in back and kept slipping off my feet when I would walk. I exchanged them for an even smaller size, 8.5, and while they didn't slip off my foot, they were a bit small; my toes were hitting the ends of the shoes. I want so badly to like and wear these shoes, but I don't know. Sent back the 8.5 and am thinking about giving it one more try with a different pair of 9's. If that doesn't work, oh well. Are they supposed to slip off your feet? No clue, so new to boat shoes and they would be way too conservative if they didn't have cool colors and patterns.

I am ordering my second pair of these today. I ordered one pair and wore them without socks, and after about 6 days the footbed started coming undone. I returned those and decided to try a different pattern. I have these in metallic and love them. I always wear them with very low cut sock liners. The second pair I ordered seemed to hold up better than the first. I am now ordering a second pair in the Croc style because I think they are a little fancier. These shoes are very comfortable, almost like slippers, but so obviously not slippers.

I ordered a regular size, and they were too narrow. I sent them back for a wide and that is still even a little snug. I am keeping them, though, in hopes they will stretch out.

I really liked the style of these but they were huge and slipped right off my feet when I walked. The soles are really comfortable though. Unfortunately they are going back.

Super cute but not the most comfortable. The soles are nicely padded but the sides rub too much. I have bunions and almost no arch so they may be fine for those of you without foot issues (although my teenage daughter said many of her friends have complained of blisters until they were able to break in the shoes).

I have been wanting these shoes for so long! But getting them was quite a process... I am a size 9.5/10 and I ordered a 10. They were way too big. So, I order a 9.5 also turn out being way too big. I order a size 9 and they are now too small. So unfortunately I will have to return because I cannot seem to get the sizing to work out. I am so sad as I loved these shoes but they are just not comfortable to wear. My foot either slides out or my toes are squished. Sad face.

I wish they did not have leather, or I would have totally bought them. I absolutely love them only to find they have leather. I cannot go against my vegan ways.

Close, but I have a wide forefoot and the Sperry Bluefish just fit better and flexed better with my foot. This is cuter, but...oh well!

I ordered the Sperry Top-Sider Angelfish in the Linen/Leopard(Sequin) color in my usual size 8. I would have to agree with many reviewers that this shoe runs about half a size large. A 7.5 would probably be a perfect fit. I would have to disagree however with other reviewers regarding the comfort of this shoe. I truly wanted to like this shoe but it was just too uncomfortable for me. I would say I have an average foot with regards to length and width and have no issues such a bunions etc and I rarely have issues with shoe comfort but regardless, I just could not find this shoe comfortable even with all of its cushioning. The front top part (where the laces are) hit in a very uncomfortable way. I wore them around the house an entire day to see if maybe this would go away if they got broken in but there was just no way. It's too bad because they are very cute shoes, especially in this color/print combo.

I usually wear an 8.5 and I fit nicely into an 8, so you might want to take that into consideration. Unfortunately, I can't wear these without socks or else they tear up the back of my heels like crazy! Unless you wear flats 24/7 and have broken your feet in, these shoes will be no problem. Casual flat wearers- beware! Otherwise, it's a good standard spring/summer shoe.

I love these shoes. They are so cute. Unfortunately I had to give them away. They cut into my foot right at the big toe joint. I have since learned I have the beginning of a bunion (common foot ailment). To wear these shoes I would have to tape up my foot, which I am unwilling to do -- too much trouble. Next time I would get other Sperrys that cover this top of foot area.

Constantly slips up and down my heel making it very difficult to walk and keep the shoe on my foot! If you have skinnier heels, put inserts in the back of the shoe.

I bought both 7.5 and 8 and tried them on. 8 was my usual size but they were way too big. So I kept 7.5 ones. At first, they fit comfortable but after I wore them for 10 minutes, they started to rub the back of my feet. It was so bad that I got two bloody blisters on both feet when I got home. I am a bit disappointed. I guess I will try them again with socks next time (after my feet heal). I really want them to fit because they are just perfect for the season.

I love this shoe! It's so cute! But I am having some problems with them and the inside stitching hurts certain areas of my feet. I ordered a size 5 and if I would have ordered a larger size the shoe would have fallen off my feet. I've been trying to stretch them by wearing socks. When I stand in place (and I do that a lot) they are amazingly comfortable. I refuse to give up on them. I love them that much!

I am actually going to return mine, because the insole on the right show doesn;t meet the front of the shoe. Therefore, there's a big gap in the front. I'm thinking this was just a defect, and I'm going to get another pair. They seem very comfortable otherwise. I may get a 1/2 size smaller, as suggested on the other reviews, because they seem like they'll stretch.

The shoes look great on, but they gave me terrible blisters within 20 minutes of wearing them. Still trying to break them in.

I tried Sperry's again - hoping for more comfort! Alas, the back was too high and the seams at the heel "bite". I keep hoping...to no avail. They go back.

Defiantly will not purchase these again, and will not recommend, maybe better luck next time with different style...

fabulous shoe! Nice to look at as well as extremely comfortable from day one. I can and did walk extensively in these shoes while on European vacation. The toe box is very comfortable even for my somewhat wide foot and found them to be true to size. I now own 2 pair!

I am very disappointed. These shoes are very cute and versatile, but super uncomfortable. First I got a 6.5 in normal width because all the reviews said they'd stretch, but they didn't. So, Sperry exchanged them and sent out 6.5 Wide, which are still too narrow, yet somehow longer in length. They give me blisters, too. Not sure if this will ever go away, but I can't wear them if they are going to keep hurting me. I am very upset. I never write reviews but had to write one for these because it's just so disappointing.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are super cute. I usually wear a 6.5/7 and got these in a 6.5 due to other reviews that they ran large. Definitely too big. Sent them back and got a size 6. They still fall off my feet when I walk. I have somewhat narrow feet from my heel to my toe box, and then a fairly wide toe box. These shoes just don't fit me around the heel and middle of my foot - they're too wide.

Very unsatisfied. Shoes stretch. I tighten the laces and soon they have stretched and the shoes slip on my feet.

I absolutely love the material and color of the Light Tan Canvas/Open Mesh shoe, but it had a very painful design flaw. The front two rivets of the shoe are covered in material that is thick and inflexible, causing them to dig into the joints of my feet. I have tried to break in the shoe by wearing them several times, but they are not loosening in that area and are very painful. Very disappointing!
