Sperry Anglefish are very cute and comfortable with the big exception of the width in the front of the shoe. The front is very narrow and the all leather ones especially do not streatch with wear.

I was very disappointed when I received this Sperry. I am an avid lover of all sperrys and have been a fan of the angelfish for years. Was super excited when they came out with them again. However, after receiving mine, I was utterly frustrated. They did not fit and I purchased the same size I am in all sperrys. Also, they seem very cheaply made. They are not the same as the original angelfish there is less cushion on the inside, and the outside feels much cheaper. I am going to be returning them.

I just received my shoes.......and while they are very comfortable, I'll have to wear socks with them because they were too wide. I ordered the AA, but they're not narrow enough.

I've always wanted a pair of these shoes but I was so disappointed by hope they felt. They rubbed my ankle so I had to return them. Everything else about them was great and I really wanted them to work out, but they hurt.

I desperately wanted to love these shoes but sadly they are not for me. I typically wear a size 9 (sometimes a 9w in running shoes depending on the style). I read all the reviews about the shoes stretching and people needing a 1/2 size smaller but I was skeptical & ordered a 9W since some reviews noted them running narrow. I think the shoes are really cute and go with lots of my wardrobe for spring and summer (slightly darker brown than in the picture) but the fit is just wrong for my feet. 9W was too big & 8.5W felt like they were squishing my toes together & cutting into my heel (it did feel like it would improve some overtime with stretching but not enough to ever be truely comfortable.) To save Zappos shipping another pair (love you Zappos! Your customer service rocks!) I tried on a 9 in a department store & those just didn't fit right either, stayed on better than the 9w but pinched my toes (really don't want to encourage bunions). After exhausting all my options for sizing it's become blatantly obvious that this style is not for me. :-(

This particular pair was defective. The insole was a good two sizes too small. My big toes hung over edge inside the shoes. Super uncomfortable! Ordering an exchange right now, hoping it's right next time!

I love Zappos, but I am very disappointed with these shoes. The tan part is darker and the back piece is lighter, making a stronger contrast and it just isn't as feminine looking. They are very comfortable though.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but it hurt my foot as I was putting it on and was worse when I tried to stand on it. It is much narrower than marked and the stitching rubbed on the sensitive area of my foot. I bought a size 6 wide, my usual size.

I ordered these at size after looking at other reviews but when they arrived they were very tight. After consulting with friends they advised Sperrys just need to be broken in, but are super comfortable after that period. I've been breaking these in for a while but they're not super comfortable. I guess it is what it is, I'm committed now.

The sizing of this shoe drove me crazy. I typically wear a 6.5 and based on the reviews I ordered a 6.5 and a 6. The 6.5 was huge and the 6 was a little big but not horrible. However, based on all of the reviews saying this shoe stretches I was hesitant to keep something that was already a little big on me. So I decided to also order a 5.5 to see how that felt (thank you Zappos for your free shipping/ returns!). The 5.5 came and it was way too small/ tight. It was so uncomfortable that even if it stretched a little it would probably be unbearable. This shoe felt like it was a full size smaller than the 6. I should also add that the 5.5 came in a different style box than the previous two sizes. I don't know if this was an older style and that's why the sizing was so different or what was happening. So I had this shoe in three different sizes and not a single one fit. I really wanted to keep one because I really wanted this shoe but after much debate I couldn't justify spending the cost on a shoe that didn't fit right. So they all went back to Zappos. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I was in a store selling the shoe and decided to give them another shot. I tried on a 5.5 and a 6 and the 5.5 fit perfectly. So long story short, if the shoe doesn't fit properly you might just need to find another pair in the same size and have completely different results.

I've been wanting these for a year - and in wide width they are sometimes hard to find. I have a true wide foot, meaning that I need a C width in pretty much every shoe I own, or my fit doesn't go in. My foot went into this one and when I was standing still it felt okay. Once I started walking, however, the toe box squeezed my toes uncomfortably. Sadly I needed to return them.

I love these shoes so much I ordered two more pairs. The only complaint I have is that after wearing them for a few months the material started to fray from the bottom of the shoe, where the upper part of the shoe meets the sole. When I looked inside the shoe, there is a definite "slash" of the material inside. I have had these for about 6 months. Shoes at this price should last longer than 6 months. Will try to return as defective.

I'm so disappointed and honestly quite baffled by these shoe and the reviews! I purchased these 4 months ago and still have yet to wear them without pain or discomfort. The are adorable looking and I love the thicker sole to provide support, but these shoes hurt your feet! I took the advice from the reviews and ordered a half size down. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on the shoe so I ordered the 6.5 in these. They feel like a whole size smaller and it's taken a lot of creative effort to stretch these shoes out! Stuffed with wet newspaper and thick socks finally got them to the point where I could actually wear them for a few hours but even now I'm still trying to stretch them out. I'm not sure if it's the materials on my specific style, but the vinyl detail on the toe knuckle is painful! The toe part of this shoe really seems to narrow. I do love the look of this style, especially with straight/ankle pants but please be warned, these shoes require effort to wear comfortably! If I choose to try these shoes again, it will be with caution and definitely order my true size or a half size larger & wide width.

Cute shoes but very uncomfortable with no support or sense of protection for the bottom of my feet. Tried adding a generic orthotic which gave a little more support but then too tight and pinching the side of my foot. With all the years Top-siders have been around I hoped they would have improved. The foot bed looks more supportive than it really is. Back they go.

I love the looks of this shoe, but I walked out of it. I wear a size 11, the length and the toe were fine, but the heel slipped so badly I couldn't keep them on. I'm going to try the 2 eyed laces and see if it's any better.

These are cute but not particularly comfortable. The fit is true to size. I find the leather on these a little hard for my feet. My idea of a shoe like this is to not feel it on your foot, and I feel these.

After reading all the reviews I was expecting a lot of comfort, but they feel stiff and rough on the inside, and squeeze my pinkie toe on the right shoe. I had much higher expectations. I do like the way they look, and plan to wear them around the house with socks to try and break them in more. I've worn them about 5 times (without socks) and they haven't changed much.

I usually buy only Clarks shoes but these were so cute I had to have them. Unfortunately, this is absolutely the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. The inside is rough and chewed up my heels and the sides of my feet. I wore them for less than two hours and my feet were blistered and raw. Had to return them.

I REALLY loved these shoes. More than I have ever loved a pair of shoes. But the sizing is horrible. I purchased a 8.5 (usually wear a 9) and the salesman assured me they would stretch. They have not. Wish Sperry's were more true to size.

Okay. Not as great as I had hoped. The front part rubs on my knuckle of the big toe, but that is probably just my foot. Feels a half size bigger than it should be but I'm nervous to drop down a half size.

I ordered 9 and 9½. The 9 feels too short (my toes go right to the top) and the 9½ fits ok, but I can see that they may stretch and my fear is that they will be too loose. I might have to return both.

I want to love these. They are super cute. They are comfortable for a couple of hours. And after that, I notice how much they begin to pinch/rub the inside of both feet, especially at the top. The width of the shoe seems otherwise fine. I have tried them barefoot, with a nylon liner, and a sock liner. It doesn't really help. Maybe the shape of my feet are to blame, and not the shoes. It's hard to say. But as much as I love how they look, I'm disappointed in how they feel.

I have worn Top-Siders for a long time. Recently, I purchased a style that I love. I do not wear socks with my Top-Siders. The insoles of my new shoes are red...as are the bottom of my feet...not good! Could not give them an overall 5 stars having red feet. :)

I really liked the style of this shoe, and the color (Linen perfs) looked like it would go with alot. Unfortunately the side of the shoe was too tall, and it hit my ankle. The way the leather is rolled on the sides seemed to make it too stiff, and that really hurt my ankle. I am disappointed. I don't know if the side of the shoe would be shorter in a 1/2 size smaller, but I am considering trying a smaller size to see.

Not comfortable at all! I tried different colors of the same size and style that felt great (in size 7.5), but I loved this color. Unfortunately, the fit and feel of this shoe seemed off. Rubbed my foot in some uncomfortable places, even though it seemed long and wide enough. It may have broken in eventually, but I didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't. Really disappointed to have to return this. Very cute shoe, though.
