Love! I originally was going to order the tall but after trying them on at the store decided the short was a better fit. I'm 5'6" and the tall sat right at my knee. They do run large I'm normally an 8.5/9 and I purchased an 8. Great product, can't wait for it to rain!

I'm not sure why some reviews said to order down. I did that and they were too short. If you're a half size, I'd recommend ordering a half size up, not a half size down. They are great boots, though.

Very nice boot! I'm quite surprised by the number of people who said to size down. I am a true size 7. I ordered both a 6 and a 7 because I wasn't sure which would fit based on the comments. The 7 was a true 7 and the 6 too small. I recommend buying your normal size, as does Hunter.

This boots are AWESOME! I wear a 7-71/2 and ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. I can even wear thick boot socks comfortably. I own two pairs of hunter rain boots and these have become my favorites. I own the taller ones but these are more versatile. I will get more colors!

Cute boot mid calf. It does rub there so make sure you have pants on that reach below mid calf. I thought it was true to size.

A fine boot for rainy spring days. I got the slate blue. I wish now I chose the black it would look better with leggings. Funny at my workouts studio there are three pairs of the identical boot.

I love these boots. I am 5'2" so the short boots are a perfect height on my legs. They are pretty comfortable, and I have enough room to wear thick socks if I need to. I am typically a size 7 and I got a size 7. The color is also beautiful, and goes with everything while still being a pretty blueish slate instead of a typical neutral shade.

I love love love Zappos service with a smile over the phone. Last order I placed I was in the midst of a huge snowstorm. The order taker asked how I was and explained my situation on Cape Cod. She said why don't you come outto sunny Las vegas for a visit and get warm! Oh and I love my boots. Much needed with feet of snow this winter.

What great boots! They are comfortable, warm, and stylish; they were my go-to outdoor footwear this winter, no matter what I was doing. We had a challenging winter in Mass. this year, but these boots stood up to all sorts of weather and could be worn with any outfit. I have wide feet and normally have difficulty finding boots which would fit me properly. I usually wear a 6 1/2 WW. I ordered a 7 in the Hunter. The toe box is nice and roomy and I could wear them all day and still be comfortable. A great product!

Ordered a size up since I needed to wear these with my orthotic, which usually I need to go up a half size. Definitely needed my regular size (a 9) which would've been fine but I need these at the end of the week, for vacation. Got these for the rainy streets of London. The height was great and it seemed that there would be room for pants tucked in (and I don't have thin calves by any means). Color was nice for spring, nice and bright. If I had more time, I would have kept these. The Bogs I did keep will work fine.

These boots are great! They do run big. I usually wear a 10 in shoes and ordered a 9 and I still have plenty of room for a thick sock for winter. I would highly recommend investing in these boots!

Love these boots! Very comfortable and really cute. I read some reviews that they rub, but I haven't had that problem. I've even worn without socks at all, and haven't had an issue. I get compliments on them just about every time I wear them. They do run a little large, so I ordered a size down and they are perfect. Easy to clean as well, and the shine does stay. I got the red, and if you ever get the robin's egg blue in shiny, I'll order those, too.

These are the cutest rain boots! I almost didn't want to wear them because they're so shiny, but they're perfect for central Texas rainy days. I ordered them in Military Red, and I normally wear an 8.5 but I ordered an 8 and the fit is perfect.

I ordered both the tall Original back adjustable and the Short Gloss boot. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or even an 8 in some narrower Frye styles, so heeding reviews, I ordered a 7 in the Hunters. The Originals were roomy, but this allowed me to add the fleece liner and still feel comfy. The Short was much roomier than the original. Partially, this is because the ankle on the tall boot is stiff and holds my foot in place. If you are a 7 or even a 7 1/2 and want a shorter rain boot, consider ordering the 6. It's a great boot, easy to get off and on, but it runs large in the footbed. Incidentally, I ordered in the evening and Zappos had these boots at my door by 3pm the following day.

Love these boots! I needed a one size smaller and I put in a gel shoe liner. They are very comfortable and they look great - winner!

My first pair of Hunter boots! And they are just gorgeous! I chose the gloss red! They reminded me of my boots when I was a kid! They truly brighten your day! I cannot wait now for rainy days! They fit true to size! They remind me of a boot that could be compared to Dorothy's red shoes! Too cute! I will wear them with black leggings, white leggings, etc. They truly will pop any outfit!

So cute - lots of compliments! I wore them all day to the office and feet were comfy all day.

I love these. In my opinion, it's worth it to spend a little extra for good quality. I had a slightly less pricey pair of rain boots, and the rubber split where the toe bends, making them useless. These are nice, heavy rubber but not too heavy. The sheen/gloss is just enough, and the color is beautiful. The short height is still tall enough to protect your pants from puddles but a bit less cumbersome than the classic knee height. Believe it when reviewers say they are cut large-I NEVER wear less than an 8.5 and am sometimes a 9. I bought a 9, and they were huge. The 8 is perfect.

I have wide-ish feet and needed to size up rather than down. They fit great, are really comfortable and keep my feet dry!

These boots are well worth it! I found them to be true to size. I wear a 9 in all shoes and the 9 fit perfect. I got the red and I get compliments every time I wear them. I'm trying to stop myself from buying another pair.

I am 5'2" and I have ridiculously large calves. When I tried on the Hunter tall rainboots my knees were literally muffin topping over the boots. I didn't want the Huntress boot because they only have two color choices. These are the perfect remedy!! I was worried that because of my height they would look funny but they fit my calves and are about the same height as my Bailey Button Uggs. If you are dead set on a pair of Hunter boots but the tall ones won't work then get these immediately!

Got red ones for Christmas and wanted to exchange for black. It was handled quickly and efficiently by Zappos. I just made a folder with your name on it!

Love this boot! The gloss makes gloomy weather happier. It has enough structure to support your feet. The height is perfect for my leg length (I'm 5'4"). Circumference plenty roomy for skinny jeans (my calf is 14"). Ordered my usual size 9, but the foot is way too large. Trying again with an 8.

I love these boots! Some reviews instruct to order a size up but I got my normal size 8 and they fit fine even with thick socks. I think the short boots are definitely easier to get off then the tall. I also purchased the tall glossy boot in graphite and the size 8 was too small but not such much because of fit but more because I had such a hard time trying to get them off. Also important to note, I prefer not to wear the hunter socks with the tall version- again this is only my preference and to avoid the hassle of getting them off. The tall boots fit so well that I can't really wear the thick hunter socks with them. But I like the look of the tall boots without the bulk of the socks. If you want to wear hunter socks with the tall version I would recommend getting the Huntress style which I don't believe is available in glossy.
