I wear these sandals all the time, even in the winter! They are so comfortable and lightweight. I love wearing them, and I will be buying these in black. I'm always wearing them and I thought my DC sandals were comfortable, there is no comparison.

Just bought these for my husband, has not worn yet but he says they are beautifully made and feel very comfortable. Got these to replace another OluKai model. He's a 9, and fit is true for him.

Best sandals ever - own total of 4 pair - Ohana, Kai, Kai II now Mea Ola. Have high arch - great support, they run about 1/2 size small - go up a size, have wide foot (E) but they "stretch" slightly after a few wears - would never buy anything but Olukai's!

These are expensive but worth it. The footbed is well formed and the straps are comfortable. There is some modest arch support, much better than most flippies.

I bought these for my husband, and he loves them! He says they're extremely comfortable right out of the box, and loves the feel and look of the real leather. The braided band between his toes needed a little breaking in to not be noticeable, but that didn't take long.

Olukai sandals are by far the best sandals on the planet! This is my second pair. The first pair are over two years old. I live in Naples, Florida, so I wear them about 200 days a year. They are not worn out! I just got bored waiting for them to wear out, and purchased a new pair of Mea Ola's. They are the best!

This is the best sandal I've bought very comfortable and durable. I wear it everyday as I live in Florida. Also I want to say Zappos customer service has to be the best experience I've ever had! They took care all my needs. Thanks guys! I will be using Zappos a lot, and I will tell everyone I know or talk to about Zappos.

In my opinion, OluKai is the best flip flop company anywhere. My first pair was the Ohana Leather and are great sandals -- I would still have them if I had cared for them properly. I will do that with these Mea Olas. I only gave a 4 for comfort because I am going through a break in of the toe post but that will fade away in time. I upgraded to them because they are definitely a style upgrade. They do run a tad small as I usually wear an 11.5 but wear size 12 OluKais; however, it has been my experience that sizes are almost always dependent on the manufacturer and vary quite a bit from one to another. As far as maintenance goes, my feet overheat (= sweat) a lot and, living in the South, I wear sandals almost exclusively. Over time, the footbeds absorb a lot of it and should be cleaned regularly to remain inoffensive in the long term. I learned of this when I discovered this recently when I purchased cleaning products that Mephiso sells. If you are considering spending more for these, don't worry they're worth it.

I never thought I'd spend this much for a pair of flip flops but here I am. Living in southern Calif, for me flip flops are about all I wear and I was looking for a new pair before going on a recent trip to Maui. I decided I would just buy them there, but after going to several shops that sold them, none of them had them in my size in the color I wanted, and at that price I wasn't about to compromise. Rather than wasting any more time looking, I ordered them online from Zappos the day before coming home and they were on my doorstep when I arrived, in both the color I wanted and my size. I swear Zappos can't be beat for service. A few reviewers have said that they found these to be too stiff. These are an exceptionally well made sandal and in being made entirely of leather except for the rubber pads on the bottom, just remember like any other leather shoe, they will feel a bit stiff when new, but after wearing them a few times they will quickly begin to mold to your foot and become very comfortable. These do run small. I normally wear a 10 and had to go up a full size and they are perfect. Definitely keep this in mind when ordering unless you like them to look and fit small on your foot. As far as looks go, with the Mea Ola in my opinion they really nailed it. The detailing on the straps combined with the small metal studs and the iconic hook in the center all combine to make a great looking sandal. I looked at several colors and the ginger turned out to be my favorite. They are not so 'orange' in color as depicted online and are actually a nice shade of brown but not at all too dark. These are designed to conform to your foot and have the most support of any sandal I've ever worn. If you have high arches, you will definitely appreciate the way these fit. I can walk or stand in these for hours with no problems. If I'm just going to the beach or washing my car I wear an old pair. I don't think they will last as long if repeatedly gotten wet, and after all you won't just be running down to WalMart to replace them. They look good with shorts or jeans and look good enough to be worn anywhere. I have gotten compliments on these every time I wear them. I don't spend a lot of money on anything else for clothes, but I've learned that a good pair of shoes makes any outfit, and is also well worth the investment in the long run. If you're a flip flop fanatic like me, and don't mind spending a few extra bucks, you owe it to yourself to check these out.

Wow. The OluKai Mea Ola was everything it was cracked up to be. I wanted a classy, well made flip flop that had great arches and fit my foot like a glove. This was it. No complaints at all. The upper leather part was a bit hard against my the bridge of my foot, but that was expected. I would buy any of the OluKai's in a heartbeat. They do run small though. I usually wear a 9 to 9.5, and the 10 was perfect.

I Love them! One caveat. I had to send the original order back. The right shoe had slings that made my foot sit a bit crossways on the foot pad. The replacement pair fit perfectly and look great. Love my OluKais but, like most things made in China these days, buyer beware as you are the quality control. Zappos makes exchanges very easy.

These flip flops are awesome, and well worth the money! The leather footbed is extremely comfortable, By far, the best flip flops I have ever owned.

This is the first pair of sandals I have purchased in years! Tried a pair when vacationing in Florida this past Spring. Before deciding on OluKai, I looked at other brands, like Sperry, but none of the others matched the comfort and quality of these sandals. These are now my go to footwear for most occasions! Great product!

These were a gift for my son in law. He opened the box, put them on, and he loves them. He says he cannot believe you can get support from a sandal...but he does! They look great and he would recommend them. When my sister saw them, she said that is the only brand she buys for the men in her house, too.

These are all-day sandals. My feet love them. Once you have a pair of leather sandals you'll never want to wear old foam-rubber flips again. I've spent all day in these sandals on many occasions and my feet were cool, comfortable and happy. I know, you're thinking this cost is a lot for a pair of flips, but the quality is high and you'll have these for years.

My husband loves these sandals, very comfortable and well made. A little snug on first wearing, but moulds to your foot quickly. Very nice looking!

I love these sandals. I wasn't sure at first as they were tough to break in. Now that they have, I love them. Give them a chance. You won't be disappointed. Side note. I normally wear a 12 or 13. I bought the 13 and they barely fit.

These were well made and beautiful like a great pair of cowboy boots...but I ultimately opted for another Olukai style since the top strap dug into my foot (which according to a podiatrist over-flexes when I walk). I bet it would have broken in, but, eh, no patience and I liked the feel of another style better (although not the look...these are lovely!) I'm a female...female Olukai shoes are too narrow for me, the men's 8 fits my size 9+ foot perfectly though.

Some of the other reviews have pegged this sandal exactly right -- great looking, pricey, initially tough on the toes for non-sandal wearers, but ultimately one of the best looking most comfortable pieces of footwear I have ever owned.

I am a girl, and I know these say men's, but I fell in love with these! I used to have some really nice RocketDog leather flip flops, but they kept breaking and eventually they quit making them all together. I searched and searched til I found these! The PRICE immediately turned me off and everyone thought I was nuts, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give these a shot. Boy am I so glad I did! I have only had them for about 3 months, and I plan on wearing them about 9 months out of the year...so we will see if they hold up. The arch support is great, which you can't really find in a flop. At first the thong part wore on my toes a bit, but after a few days, they were broken in. :) I hope these last forever!

For the price I expected them to feel "perfect" the first time I put them on. I'm not a flip-flop guy but I fell in love with OluKai's shoes so I figured, these flip-flops I might be able to where. The first day I took them out, the straps were more rigid then I thought the "should" be. The soles, WONDERFUL. I walked in them for literally over two miles, not the plan, I thought I'd be sitting in a conference all day. I've kept wearing them (for the price, I wasn't ready to just toss 'em) and the straps have stretched and now I'd say, WOW, super comfortable. Great quality, I like the look and now I wear around the house like slippers because they're so comfortable. I give them a 4 star comfort because, for the price, it would be nice if they were this comfortable out of the box. But, to rate them on comfort now, I'd give 'em a 5 as well.

Nice sandals. I wear a size 15 in Nike and the size 15 on these barelyy fit. Warning: Order 1 size bigger and you will be good.
