This would have been my third pair of Olukai. However, these were not nearly as comfortable as my prior pair. The leather was stiff and looked shiny like plastic, not soft and supple. There was no give to them.

I bought a pair of these about a year and a half ago. The toe piece just snapped on me and I am on a beach vacation in Florida! So lame...no other shoes!

I live in flip flops and this was my 6th pair of OluKai's. This is the only pair I've had a problem with being uncomfortable and to the point I couldn't take another step in them.
That little piece that goes in between your toes is wrapped in leather and KILLS. I've only been able to wear them an hour at a time and have only logged about 12 hours in them, but no signs of breaking them in yet and I still can't wear them for more than an hour.
I will buy more OluKai's, but definitely not with the leather wrapped toe thingy.
I would not buy these again.

I just started wearing these a months ago. The front on them is coming apart. I have ordered 3 pairs of these and several pairs of the OluKai Ohana Leather. The OluKai Ohana Leather front toe straps keep breaking. I wore a pair 2 weeks and they are broken. They are also fading really bad. I don't know if they are making them cheaper then they used to or not but they do not last anymore. I have three pair of the OluKai Ohana Leather with broken straps ans 2 pair of this style with front toe straps broken and one pair coming apart. I have ordered dozens of pairs over the years. If there is another brand that come close to these and last longer please let me know.

Love OluKai sandals, but those with the stitched leather post are just way too uncomfortable for my toes. I'm sure the leather post loosens up with time and wear, but there is no way I could have endured the break-in period!. For me it's OluKai leather...but with the softer toe post.

Leather of toe strap hard and coarse and caused painful pressure at base of first and second toes both feet within a few minutes of wear. Leather patch securing the toe strap to the underside of the sandal strap over top of foot caused painful rubbing very soon after wearing sandal. I own six other pairs of Olukai sandals including two leather pairs and I have never experienced this problem.

Ouch! After wearing these to take my dog for a 3/4 mile walk, I could barely make it home because of the blisters that were forming on the tops of my feet - I had to walk funny the whole way back. Also, these things have no cushion whatsoever - they're hard as a rock!

Great looking sandals. The footbed fits perfectly and is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the upper part is so loose that the overall fit is very sloppy. Since the upper is so loose I have to grip the sandals with my toes to keep them on.

I love OluKAI products and was excited to get these for a trip. Unfortunately, the arch support isn't anything like my other OluKais and I wont take them on the trip. Very expensive and not living up to the normal comfort and support of the brand.

These sandals look great but I had a disappointing experience unfortunately. The part of the sandal that connects between your toes and the sole separated after just under a year of very light wear. Zappos was excellent and replaced them immediately with no troubles. For a higher end sandal with such great reviews I expected better durability. Unfortunately, the second pair I received as a replacement (which was the same size as the first on paper) were way too small and did not even fit.

Nice expensive flip flops. I had a pair of these for about a year and they were nice and offered more support than your typical flip flop. After a year of sparing use bc flip flops are not really worn year round mine where I live I had a blow out. I hoped they would last since they seemed sturdy and were expensive for flip flops but mine broke. Zappos would not let me return since I had owned the item for a year and neither would the manufacturer. I understand the point of view of both but if you are looking for a good pair of sandals that will last longer than a year of sparing use these are probably not for you.

These did not last 6 weeks. Very disappointed. My husband did love them, but they started showing wear quickly and in 6 weeks the strap between the toes pulled out. When you spend this much on a pair of flip flops you at least hope you can use them for a while! This was normal use. I gave them a two because while wearable they were comfortable and stylish.

Ouch! The top straps cut my feet. The fit seemed right in that they were snug but not too tight. If you like being tortured with leather straps, these flip-flops are for you! Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend them. I like the style and they seem to be well built, but they’re just painful.

I expected or rather assumed that these Hawaiian sandals were made in Hawaii... Not the case. MADE IN CHINA!!! Although misrepresented, I blame myself for not further investigating prior to ordering.
As far as feel goes...1) They are heavy, extremely heavy vs. cheap flops, and twice as heavy as REEFS 2) Divider between toes is bulky

Really? I think for this price it's fair to expect these sandals would last longer. I've had two pairs of these sandals. I love the fit and the style. My first pair lasted two summers before the toe broke loose. I couldn't believe a sandal at this price would blow out so I bought another pair...same thing happened after one summer. I'm not a big guy and can only wear them in summer around here. I'm online thinking about another pair but after reading reviews of others experiencing the same problem, I'll look at another brand. Please OluKai, fix the problem.
