Typical Olukai quality. The only reason that I returned them is that I didn't care for the 2 silver dots on the very front of the strap.

When I received the sandals I immediately noticed that the left sandal was a little loose over the top of the foot compared to the right sandal. I contacted Zappos customer service and they rushed out another pair immediately. The left sandal on the second pair was a little loose but not as much as the first sandal. All in all still a good comfortable pair of sandals for everyday use.

It took a couple wears before this flip flop felt comfortable. The style is great and they look good with dark jeans or shorts. They also feel very sturdy and should last. This product is made in China for anyone interested. I resent paying this much money for anything made in China. For the about same price I could have purchased Island Slippers which are made in Hawaii. NEVER again OluKai.

Expensive which led to higher expectations which IMO were not met. Moderately comfortable describes them best. The sandal thong seem to be a touch too far back forcing me to increase the size. I normally wear a size 11-11.5 in some footwear, needed a 13 to have a proper fit. I tried to purchase these last year in a size 11 and then again in a size 12 both too small. I decided to give it a go this year because I really liked the style and read so many good thing about these sandals. Again with the sandal thong itself: It is not completely comfortable against my toes, perhaps this will change as I break them in. Overall comfort beyond the sandal thong is excellent. Shapley conforms to the contours of my feet. They are very stylish and look better in person than in the pictures. Zappos customer service of course top notch, no better place to purchase footwear

Love the feel and look of these. I'm a big fan of OluKai sandals - this is my 3rd pair. These do not disappoint. Only negative would be he piece between the first 2 toes - harder than the other pairs I own - this is all leather and I'm hoping it will soften up a bit.

They are very comfortable, There was a little break in between the toes. The one problem (I will confess that I have a problem with one of my knees that make me walk differently than most) that I did have is, I was walking down some damp painted metal stairs and my feet went right out from under me, pretty hard, anyone else would have done a header down the stairs. I have not had this happen with any other flip flops, and I wear them all time. The other thing about the stylish little pads is that I have worn them 7 or 8 times and showing a lot of wear compared to the others I have, compared to my Tommy Bahamas Dalaway's that are showing no ware after almost as may outings.

These sandals run verry small. I'm usually a size 10. I ordered a size 11 and they barely fit. I advise you order at least one size bigger than your usual size number. Other than that, they are verry comfy and have a beautiful design.

I like them. Took me a while to pull the trigger based on cost, but so far, no buyers regret. They are sized about right. I'm a 10.5 and these are 11 and fit well. Not all OluKai are like this, so I was worried. They are definitely a sandal that needs to be broken in. They are somewhat painful to walk in at first because the sole is so stiff. They've broken in a bit as of Day 4, but I'm trying to get them ready for a trip this weekend and likely didn't leave enough time. I'll make them work.

The style is hard to beat on these beauties, but after having them for over a year and wearing them extremely often down in the Texas heat that seems to last six months a year, I would say these are not worth the cost. The problem is they stretch out, just like any other leather shoe, and once stretched, they become a little too loose to stay comfortable on the foot all day.

I do live Aloha, so when I first put these on my feet, they felt great. There might be a little break in do to the slightly heavier construction. The design of the rubber soul (did you see what I did there?) is nice, but due to the hardness, they can be a little slippery on damp tile or metal stairs, I almost slipped down myself. I'm a little disappointed with the tread design, mostly the thin areas at the toe and heal (typically high wear points) and for the price of the sandals, I would like them to last a while. Oh, and they run almost a full size small, I typically ware 9 or 9.5 and the 10 is just right (and FYI, same for volcom).

These are quality sandals. They are comfortable and extremely well made. However, they aren't a sandal you'd wear to the beach. The heavy leather construction doesn't work well with moisture, they will shred your feet. Salt water with a little heat and a little friction and your feet will hurt. I've worn a ton of flip flops and this is the first sandal to hurt my feet when moisture is present. (It has to be the quality of the leather that causes this reaction.) All moisture aside these are the Cadillac of quality flip-flops with superb grain leather, stitching, and sole construction! I'd give them 5 stars if the presence of moisture wasn't a big deal, as I love wearing them. I have the black ones and have been wearing them for three or four years now, the stellar construction of these will have them pleasing my dry feet for many more years.

I saw these flip flops at a local store and decided to look on-line to see if I could find them less than at the local store. I did not. I bought them through Zappos because I was able to get them shipped free and Zappos reputation. When I first got them I thought they were awesome and they fit great, but they are made out of leather and I'm concerned that for the cost, they will not last the summer. If you have your heart set on these flip flops, than get them, but if you can life with less expensive you'll be just as happy with those. Word of advice, stay away from leather ones.

Best pair of sandals you can buy, hands down. Ordered these 11 months ago for a trip to Cancun. Wore them around the house to break in. Super comfy and good support for sandals. Held up and survived the beaches and streets in Mexico. After my Winter excursion wore them all this summer boating and on the beach all over, no complaints. The more you wear them the better they get. Don't think about the price cause they are totally worth it because of the durable quality. I wore Reefs before these and they do not compare/hold up as long. Best sandals I've owned hands down, no issues and totally happy!

Quality construction. It takes a while to break them in, so do not even bother if you are the type that will return them based on the first few wears. You need to break them in over a month or so. There is not as much arch support as I would like, but there is definitely some form to them.

Not a fan of these. I prefer a very lightweight flip flop and these were too heavy. The arch support is wonderful, but overall just think they are too heavy and clunky for my taste.

Who are the two different pairs and the first pair fit just perfectly but this pair definitely could’ve used a half size if not a full size larger.

I have been a fan of the OluKai Nui for several years and wear them all year long. I wanted to step up my game and bought the Mea Ola and wore them around the house for several days. I just couldn't get comfortable with the hand-sewn leather toe post. For that reason, I gave the "Comfort" a one star. They are great looking, fit well, but the hand-sewn toe post is just not comfortable to me.

Reviewed at Olukai
The appearance and quality of this leather sandal is exceptional. From the stitching on the straps to the etching on the footbed, the Mea Ola is a sandal that is not only luxurious but would pair well with a variety of bottoms from casual cargo shorts to khaki pants. I got these because of the arch support; since I have flat feet, most sandals leave me with achy feet and a backache by day's end. The straps where tight on my foot as well as the thong between my toes. Yet I cannot assure if this is a usual break in period because the sandals do not fit; I always wear a size 12 and these caused the heel of by foot to overhang the back edge of the sandal which is both unattractive and uncomfortable. I tried to push my foot forward as much as possible which only resulted in the thong irritating the area between my toes. As much as I was excited to add these to my spring/summer wardrobe, I will not be wearing these. I extremely recommend ordering a size up.

Toe ripped out in very intermittent wearing after 2 years. Not worth $120. Every pair of olukai sandals I've had has the toe ripped out. Not durable.

Assuming that a high priced flip-flop, $120.00, would be a very comfortable version of a flip-flop, combined with the description promising comfort, I purchased the OluKai Mea Ola Ginger (light brown) colored flip-flop. The best I can say is that it looks good. However, it is one of the most uncomfortable flip-flops I have ever worn. In addition, the sole, which is"rubberish" has ridges, which when walking push up against the bottom of the feet, further adding to the discomfort. I do not recommend this flip-flop. I'm sure there are better versions available which cost much less money and are far more comfortable

The “ginger” color looks nothing like the picture. Like the flop, but the color is called brown in my book. Thought they sent me the wrong product when it came. Alas, the ginger actually has no reddish tinge whatsoever. Picture is just deceiving - returned them. Sad cause I love my other OluKai flops.
