I wear a 10 and I ordered a 10 and my foot fits on the footbed perfectly. Not too much or too little room. Even though I was disappointed that these are made in china, they are well-made and they look nice. My biggest concern was that when I first received them, they were extremely painful to wear. The leather piece that goes between the toes was stiff and caused discomfort to the point that I thought I might have to try and send them back (even though I had already worn them). Fortunately, after a couple of weeks of wearing them they finally started to break in and now are very comfortable and continue to get even better with each wear. Are they pricey? Yes, I think so. But you can buy a $30-$40 pair of flops each year or you can pick up a quality pair like these and get a few seasons out of them, not to mention they look way nicer.

These are the best OluKai candles they make. I have tried them all and these are the best looking and best built. I owe 3 pairs.

Best flip flops ever. On my third pair now - just wish the bottoms lasted longer - usually the tops shred out first but for me I wear through the bottoms first. Each pair I’ve had has lasted me through two summers before the holes in the bottom get too big. Definitely recommend these

I’ve had four pairs of these over the years, best flip-flops made. My feet are wide though, so I have to get a couple of sizes larger. Never found it to be a problem.

I love these sandals! Well made and very comfortable. Not too much to say, they're sandals, but I absolutely love wearing them and still hold up after three years of constant use.

These run a size small - I would order up a size for these sandals. See others’ reviews as well. I’m a size 10 and ordered both a 10 and a 11 - I ended up going with the 11 (maybe slightly long foot bed but overall comfort was much better).

Excellent sandal for my feet. Initial break-in can be rough for a while particularly between the big toe and next toe. However your feet gets used to it and the leather softens up, thus leading to an excellent feeling and long lasting sandal (first pair lasted 5 years with regular use).

I normally wear a size 8 but needed to buy a 9 for a better fit. Keep in mind when purchasing. These are great sandal. They are stylish, comfortable and break in easily. I would definitely recommend them. Packaging was original, no signs of wear so I would recommend Zappos. Delivery came fast, but not like the old days where they arrived next day. Also, Zappos pricing has not been the best throughout the years, so look around. However, I like Sappos and would use them again

These are my second pair. The first ones lasted almost 5 years with daily wear from early spring to mid fall. Both pairs were a little tight right out of the box, but loosened up in a few days and as the footbed started molding to my foot. The right foot is the one that is the tightest, but it is because have a bunion on my great toe. The strap comes right over the bunion. A piece of moleskin applied to the underside of the strap where it contacts the bunion fixed the problem (learned this with my first pair). Otherwise these are the best sandals I’ve ever had and last a long time! Great value considering they lasted 5 years.

My second pair of OluKai sandals. I love everything about them especially the foot comfort while walking. Only one caveat for first time buyers. The thong between your toes is a bit thicker & stiffer than other brands so it does take a bit of "getting used to" but after that they are the best.

Absolutely the best sandals/flip flops I've owned. Great support and I have flat feet. Definitely worth the price.

Great looking sandal. Second pair of OluKai. Little stiff when first wearing but like any leather breaks in once you wear a few times.

Nice quality sandal but threading on the sole has unravelled within 9 months of wearing it. Returning to Zappos for refund.

Like others have noted, these run VERY small! I normally wear a size 9 shoe, so I ordered a 10 in this sandal. I had to send back for a size 11! Definitely order larger than you usually would

I start wearing flip flops as soon as it's warm enough and sometimes even earlier. Last year I was introduced to OluKai and bought a pair of Hiapo's which I love. They took about a week to break in and I have never had a more comfortable pair of sandals. The Mea Ola's are taking a bit longer to break in. I like how they look, but don't love the shiny finish of the leather. When I first got them I had to almost squeeze my foot into them. I actually wondered if the strap had been cut small, but they are getting better. I usually wear a size 12 but since most say that OluKai run small, I ordered a size 13. As far as length goes, they are pretty close to what I should be wearing and don't have any complaints with that. My wife keeps reminding me that my pair from last year took awhile to break-in, so I'm trying to remain patient. Bottom line, I like how they look and they offer great support. As soon as the strap softens and loosens a bit, they will be as nice as my Hiapo's - which I love.

I'm not a fan. I love a light airy flip flop. These feel heavy and a bit clunky. They are comfy, though.

I wanted all leather sandals and these were the only ones that fit that bill so I was willing to pay the price, BUT Its still a lot for a flip flop. I wear a size 12 shoes and normally on sandals/flip flops I go 13, but I had to go 14. I was disappointed for the price I paid I didn't get my color.

Sandals arrived quickly. Great service! The stitching on toe post on the left sandal was twisted so that the stitches created a rough surface next to the adjacent toe. This condition will clearly wear the skin away and will render the sandal unwearable. Love the style and color but will return and order another pair. I don't think this defect is representative of the product in general, but rather an isolated instance.

Having owned a couple pairs of Hiapo, I'm no stranger to OluKai. Unfortunately, this purchase of Mea Ola's was an expensive and (literally) painful mistake. When I tried them on, they felt snugger than my Hiapo's, even when when they were brand new. They're the same size. I measure to a size 12, but I ordered 13's. My size 13's Hiapo's have been perfect. I figured, well, they'll definitely stay on easier. I walked just a couple hundred yards before my feet really started to hurt. Returning home I found in that very short distance I had horrible blisters on the tops of my feet underneath the straps. Other than some boots in childhood when I was growing fast, I've never gotten a blister from footwear. Analyzing the Mea Ola's carefully and comparing them to my Hiapo's, I was able to see that it's a "vertical" problem -- not width. The toe post appears shorter in height and hence was pulling the straps more tightly down on the top of my feet. Unfortunately, I did walk outside with them so they're no longer in "new condition" so I'm assuming I'm stuck with them. I plan to take them to a shoe repair and see if they can be stretched, otherwise I'll just have to toss the money in the trash.
