Consider going up a half size. I am reliably a 6 in all shoes, but in these, my toes bumped the end and I needed to go up a half size. These boots appear to be wonderfully narrow, which is always a hard thing to find, so I hope that the replacement boots will be a perfect fit.

I ordered these boots since I need them for our annual summer in Colorado. They fit perfect. I live in Pa so it is cold enough to wear. I thought I would have to break them in but wore them all day because they were so comfortable. Since I will be doing some hiking and some nights off the grid in Colorado, I needed a good boot. I am older and need to take care of my ankles and joints that have been through a lot. They are not heavy like my Danner boots and way more comfortable but seem as sturdy. Happy outdoors!

Boot has very pointy toe box and somewhat intrusive arch supports. Size 7 was right in length but pointy toe box pressed hard on my big toe. Boot is comfortable around ankle. Size 7.5 was too long but even so, toe box pressed my toes. I returned them.

10.5 W a little narrow for me... I usually wear a 9.5W-10W. I still have an older pair of these Lowas in great condition...I just wanted a back up pair before they changed them :)

I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit, however, these boots fit like a glove. I ordered a size 9, my usual size and they fit perfectly. I wore them around the house the day they arrived and I have nothing but praise for these boots. I will be taking them hiking in Utah shortly, but I have 100% confidence that they will be everything I need.

These are fabulous boots. Right out of the box they felt great on my feet. Size and width were accurate and the blue color was just as pictured. I also ordered a pair of Keen boots just like hiking shoes I already own. I ended up keeping the Keens but only because they were lower on the ankle and I felt I would adjust to them better than the higher Lowa ankle. I am not a seasoned hiker, just average but going on a couple of trips later this year. Someone who hikes more would love the Lowa boots.

I have narrow feet so it is difficult finding hiking boots to fit. I saw that these Lowa's came in narrow widths so decided to try them. They are very well made! Expensive but worth it for me. I am a true size 6.5. Normally I would order a half size larger in an athlete shoe, but went with the 6.5 narrow. The length is prefect, and so is the width. They seem to wrap my foot so I expect them to be good up/down hills. The foot box could be a bit wider, but it still works for me. The boots are a little stiff, which I expected due to being a very stable shoe, so allow a break in period. Wore them around the house for a day, then outside walking on dirt path for an hour today. Excellent service from Zappos, as always!

Lowa Renegade has a great fit, very light, and the Vibram soles provide exceptional traction. The boot simply falls apart like a styrafoam cooler. I have had two pair end with damage unrelated to normal wear and tear. The soles are separating from the boot in both pairs. Pair 1 showed modest sole separation in the front and some cracking just above the outer sole after 4 years. Pair 2 fell apart spectacularly after 7 years of very light wear just above the outer sole. The outer sole, made of durable Vibram rubber, is connected to a foam material which is exposed to the elements and is easy to tear (see styrafoam comparison). The foam begins to crumble and fall away while hiking (which is amusing) but should not occur.

This review is on shoes I bought 5 years ago after recovering from a broken ankle. Were so comfortable from day one. Also got the lower version. Disappointed reading the newer reviews. sounds like they may have restyled this hiking boot. Too bad as the 5 year old shoe is very comfortable.

Absolutely no arch support! I read a lot about people needing to change out the foot insert on these but i am never happy with inserts I find. Great quality and build on this boot!

The laces on these boots come off and form a noose for you to trip. I tripped and BROKE MY ARM because the laces came off but were stilled tied at the top, therefore tripping me. I will NEVER get hiking boots with cleats at top again. Too dangerous. These boots were too big anyway, toe box is huge, my feet were swimming in them. Will be selling them on eBay and getting a different pair. Not impressed with these and paid a fortune.

I splurged after sending back and forth lesser boots at lower prices. These were worth it. First of all, I need the wide, and Lowa is one of the few brands that has a good wide hiking boot. I went a full size over to accommodate really thick hiking boots. I wore these in Antarctica, over boggy trails in Scotland and Orkney and Shetland. I’ve been in snow and ankle deep in mud, rocky trails, swampy bayous, you name it. And they just rock. When I wear them out I’m buying another pair with no hesitation.

Lovely hiking boots. Well-made, super comfortable & I like the light-ish brown color, too. I wear a wide shoe (7.5W). Wearing these with one pair of thick socks, they still feel a tad too wide. But great if you need to wear bulkier socks or multiple pairs.

I ordered these in 10 Narrow but they do not feel narrow at all. Sadly I am returning and continuing the hunt for a true Narrow hiking boot.

Loved these boots the minute I took them out of the box. Put them on and went for a short hike and they are a perfect fit at a medium width. I had a pair of Keen's and really like the wide shoebox and was hoping for the best with these, and was not let down. I had a bone spur removed in December and these are the first shoes that I have been able to put on without taking the insoles out. They are made extremely well and worth every penny. Happy!!

I just ordered these boots in a narrow and they fit really well and seem to be very comfortable The surprise was that you should order these the same size as you would dress shoes, not running shoes which I typically order 1.5 sizes up.

I've had a pair of Regades for years. I wear them in the rain and snow, but the new pair I ordered weren't comfortable. I have a narrow foot and this is one of the few hiking boots than come in narrow. The foot fit fine but the rest of the boot was so stiff that it hurt to walk in them. I am a pronator, so that may be part of the issue, but as I said, my first pair, which is now ten years old fit and felt great.

I bought these because this brand and model are my husband’s favorites. Sadly, the W width was way too narrow for my WW feet. (Lowa, please make a WW size,). Also, the toe box was so small that, combined with the width issue, I couldn’t even get my feet into them. Too bad. The color (taupe/sepia) was beautiful.
