These fit perfectly. Snug and supportive, great comfort. I was concerned that they might feel heavy but they feel very light and comfortable. Love the color and style!

Very sturdy and supportive boots. Comfortable on first wearing. I like the dark color (won’t show dirt readily) of the boot, and the colored laces even provide a bit of pizzazz.

I struggle with finding hiking boots that fit my narrow foot; most give me blisters. Out of the box I wore these boots on a three mile hike. They were comfortable and more importantly did not give me blisters. The boots are a little stiff, but this is important to me in a hiking boot. I put them to the test this weekend by hiking to the top of the Beehive in Acadia National Park. They provided excellent support and traction and I felt confident even when the soles got wet. I cannot recommend these boots highly enough for women with narrow feet. I did order 9.5N. Full disclosure: I did remove the provided insole and replaced with an insole with a built in rigid arch support (Spenco). Typically with hiking boots I need two insoles and thick hiking socks to ensure a secure fit. I was pleased that these boots do not need all the extra "filling" to fit my foot perfectly!!

The toe box area is much too tight for my preference. I need a roomy toe box otherwise the shoe puts to much side-pressure on my big toe, pushing the toes, pinching them up too much.

My narrow six 9 feet have suffered from slippage in medium width boots. These narrow boots UGM my feet without rubbing.

It was a shocking surprise to find a narrow width in a boot let alone one that fits perfectly the first time i slipped them on. It was a Cinderella moment!

This is the 4th pair of these boots that I have bought --over many years. I wore out the other 3 pair (but haven't thrown them away yet!) I'm really happy Lowa is still making the same model. They are good looking, well made (in Slovakia), made of good materials, plus GoreTex, require very little breaking in and provide good support for 5 mile day hikes in local parkland and tougher hikes in the Sierras with their grippy vibram soles. Maybe not enough support for a 10 day backpacking trip in high country. But otherwise, they are great.

My foot is actually a 9.5S with a high arch and narrow heal, which exists nowhere, so I buy 9N or 9.5N and stick inserts and tongue pads in to make my shoes work. Hiking boots being hiking boots, they are harder to get right, but these are actually narrow and have decent arch support. I can lace them up tightly and my foot feels secure. These boots have a deep hook at the ankle that make the fit better than most. They may have taken my old favorites, my Vasque Sundowners (good ones from 1995, back when they made narrows), out of their top spot. Hoping they're even more comfy as I get them broken in!

I have very wide feet for a woman. I read several reviews that these were a good option for women with wide feet. Not even close! I ordered these in Wide and they were narrower then Merrill Moab in the normal width. I am very disappointed as these weren't even close to a wide or even a medium width. Also, who makes a hiking boot without a rubber toe rand?

I kept reading reviews until I found the one I wanted, but I should have paid attention to how many reviewers noted that they have narrow feet and loved them. For me, the wide size was still too narrow, in the forefoot. I have to return them.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but they just didn’t fit me. I ordered size 7.5 wide, but they didn’t feel wide. My pinky toe rubbed against the side of the shoe. Also, the tongue and upper part of the shoe dug into my leg. Too bad! Zappos is terrific, though! I wish the boots had fit!

This is my third pair of this boot in 20 years. A perfect fit, feel, quality and longevity. Delivery in two days by Zappos once I realized I had worn the heel of my last pair down to the Y are high and and worth it!

I wear between a 10 and eleven and bought a 10 1/2 narrow. My feet are very narrow and hard to fit. These are perfect! I love them. They are so comfortable and supportive. What a great shoe for my difficult foot!

Absolutely well-made, quality boots. Sadly, I must return them because even the wide size was too narrow. I wear 10.5 wide hiking boots. My foot is 4.25 in wide. If the area of the toe box that tapers towards the toe started 1-2 cm more forward, they would've fit. There was pressure on my 4th and 5th toes where the taper started. The insoles are neutral. I changed them for the orthotics I prefer with more robust arch support and which made that part of the fit optimal for me.

I wear these with gaiters for snowshoeing and they keep my feet perfectly warm and comfortable. I did size up 1/2 size to accommodate more sock room.

I ordered 10.5 W. They do not feel like wide shoes. My bunion hurts. Otherwise, they would be ideal hiking and backpacking shoes. I am still looking for comfortable, high-rise hiking boots, giving good lateral stability.

I have flat arches and insteps, wide toes, narrow heels and skinny ankles. I needed walking/hiking boots for the snow to be worn with warm heavy socks and my arch supports. I bought 10W, a half size longer than usual (I always buy W) to make sure the boots would accommodate. Perfect! Very little breaking-in required. For me, these boots are worth every cent.

I bought size 10.5 narrow which is a bit bigger than my shoe size to allow for 2 pair of socks. As a first-time hiker, these were my first hiking boots and I was worried about comfort, fit and weight. 4 years and many, many miles later I can say they have been great but now they’re leaking so time to replace. Wet winter weather, lots of puddles and mud and I really dislike wet socks.

The boots were thrown in the garbage. Please read the warranty on Lowa's website which warns purchasers that the soles will literally come off the boots and there is no recourse after 12 months. An expiration date should be posted. The soles disintegrate and completely fell apart. That's exactly what happened, see the photo.

I have an older Lowa that is 10 yrs old. It looks like it will have another 2 years of life. I purchased this because the price was right and the Lowa brand is hard to find! Thanks, Zappos for carrying it!

This is my first pair of Lowa boots and I am totally pleased with them. I worried a little about the width because I have large flat feet and I had ankle surgery last year which has changed my left foot. I also had concerns about the insert that comes with the boot. All worries were put to rest once I put them on. They fit perfectly and have great support but you will have to put in your own inserts or orthotics. I put them to the test with a 4.5 mile hike and they performed beautifully and my feet felt great. I look forward to putting lots of miles on these boots, they are worth every cent.

They are a little stiff around the ankles but I’m sure they will only get better with use... they are light weight and nice looking. Only pair available in narrow width .. they were expensive so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Got the boots for my wife, who has high arches and a narrow heel. They are the best fitting, most well made and comfortable hiking boots she has ever had! And she is very picky.
