Wore these for a week in Sedona, AZ after only wearing them a few days out of the box. Broke in nicely, no blisters, and gave me a good boot to hike around the red rocks in. Wish the insoles held up a bit more- already peeling a bit and didn’t have a lot of arch support.

Nice looking boot but normally wear 7.5-8 wide and these fit with thin sock but wanted room for thick socks, would have exchanged for 8.5 but none available, sadly returned

These are the very first hiking boots that I could actually hike in right out of the box. Great with either thick or summe-weight hiking socks. Well made and worth every penny.

These are amazing!! Durable, comfortable, and easy to get on and off.

I've only worn these twice so far, but I haven't a single complaint. They're light and comfortable and they fit perfectly out of the box.

The boots are stylish and VERY comfortable. Good tread on the soles make them perfect for their snow boot purpose.

This is my second pair of these boots- loved my first pair to shreds and simply ordered another. When the new pair came, I was surprised to discover that the standard medium width was too narrow. This is a first for me- I 've never had to order wide shoes. So, get these boots, but consider moving up in width.

You know those things you own that you love so much that when they need to be replaced you simply order the exact same thing? These boots are just that for me. They have seen me comfortably through hundreds and hundreds of miles over several years, keep my feet dry, and never slip, I don't take the time to write many reviews, but these boots are worth it. If you need hiking boots, buy these.

Unfortunately this shoe is not wide enough for my bunion. My bunion has stopped bothering me since I have been wearing proper fitting shoes. My bunion announced itself as soon as I put my foot in the shoe. These boots are going back.

After a grueling backpacking trip with snow, hail, rain, mud, and precarious stream crossings, my feet stayed dry. I even missed a step and submerged my foot into a stream and no water made it into these boots. 42 miles and my feet were well supported the entire time. I did have my own orthotic inserts, but I was amazed that my toe (I have hellux Limitus) was never in pain the entire time. The shoes aren’t a miracle and I wasn’t walking on pillows, but they kept my feet as comfortable and dry as I could ever expect from a boot. The price point was high, but I don’t regret a dime because dry feet on a backpacking trip with weather that had most people turn around for their creature comforts is absolutely priceless. I’m a size women’s 10 in street shoes and first ordered the 10s, but they were too small and went up to the 11s and they were a great fit. The picture attached was from a mellow day hike where I was breaking them in and not the backpacking trip where the boots were truly tested.

My 3rd pair. I’m a big hiker. They are definitely old-style vs the low ultra light you see on distance hikers these days. Still, I think they are awesome! Zappos is unbeatable for customer service, as always.

Best boot ever for narrow feet! So glad I found them and spent the $$. Immediately hiked 7 miles and they were comfortable from the first step. They fit perfectly with my custom orthotics.

The toe box on the D width is not a D. I tried ordering a whole size larger than I normally wear, and the toes are still too narrow. These boots seem good, except for that.

I've been buying these boots for years. These are the only hiking boot that I have found classified as narrow. The fit is consistent and reliable.

These boots are the BEST EVER!!! I ordered the wide because my feet have begun flattening a bit and most shoes and boots are too narrow, even many in a wide width but these are amazing. I can hardly wait for my next hike!

I have never gotten a blister with these boots, but if I wear them on the sidewalk or on a road for any distance, they cause pains in my feet. They have support, but no cushion to them. They are fine on dirt, like a trail. I recently took them hiking on very steep, rocky ground. It was only a 5 mile hike round-trip, very rough ground. My toes hurt quite a lot as we were coming back down the mountain, and when I got back, both my big toe nails were dark from being seriously bruised under the nail. 3 weeks later, they are still healing (hoping the nails don't fall off!). The toe box is clearly too small. I think I needed to get a whole size larger than normal. Go a size up! These never soften up, so don't expect them to stretch or break-in.

These are my third pair of Lowa Renegade. I have wide feet, and I need support because I also have flat feet. These boots offer me enough width to add insoles, and thick hiking socks. I'm hopping that Low will add more color to these boots, cause they're a bit "blah" in comparison to the men's boots. I would love to see a mixture of orange, yellow, and blue, or even hot pink.

A totally quality product well worth the price. And I cannot say enough about the professional and service that I received from Zappos. I had originally ordered these from REI online and while I paid full price they sent me a pair of clearly used shoes missing the foot beds. Then gave me a hard time about returns. Still waiting on my money back from REI while Zappos got me the shoes quickly so I had something to use.

These have a bizarrely narrow forefoot and toe box for boots that are supposed to be wide. Most women with wide feet have a narrow heel and wider forefoot. Who has just a wide heel? Also didn't love to colors.

From the moment I put theses on They felt WONDERFUL!!! They get better with each day, hugs my feet like a pillow.. I was having foot pain, knee pain and all the way up to hip pain. Kept me awake at night, I had a good boot, OR SO I THOUGHT, a friend told me about this boot and her wonderful experience with them, she has arthritis in her feet. I was so desperate for a good boot the price did not scare me. Best purchase I have made.. I love to work in my yard, some days way longer than I should but you gardeners all know how that goes. This boot allows me to stay dry, use a shovel, I found out you cant NOT do that with even the best tennis shoes, at least for me. I love to move plants around, get in the dirt, water ect, all day if needed.. This boot does it all and is light on top of THAT. I love the extra ankle support. I am 55 and highly recommend this boot!!! there cute on also..

Finally something that fits my narrow, flat feet.

I hate buying shoes. AAAA heel, B/C width in the toe, orthotics, and must meet my PT's criteria. I love my Lowa Renegades! My orthotics fit, the boots are comfortable, truly keep my feet warm at 10 degrees, and water/snow doesn't seep in. I was hesitant to spend the money, but these boots will last for years. I used to save them for hiking and other outdoor sports, but now I wear them all winter. I rarely wear my snow boots anymore.

Heel not narrow enough. Past need, main foot not wide enough.

Fabulous hiking boots. No break-in required. I can't really comment on arch support since I have no issue with that. The boots may provide excellent arch support, but I have no idea. I would buy these again.
