This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Incredible arch support. Soft lining and very comfortable. Size was correct but I wore a wide where I would normally wear a standard.

Was looking for a leather line pair of Lowa boots. No joy. These hit the mark. Time will see how these bare out under load

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. Wore them walking around for a couple days for break-in and then hit the trail. First day hiked 7-8 miles to a 12,000 ft pass w/o issue. Day 2 hiked another 7-8 miles while clearing the trail of downed trees, again no issues. Very comfortable and supportive, 2 things that usually don't go together with new boots. Lite weight and keep my feet cool w/o excessive sweating. I have a wide foot that is hard to accommodate but these boots met the challenge.....I HIGHLY recommend them!

Good mid weight hiking boot, good overall support for mid weight. Comfortable right out of the box, very little break in required. I ordered a 11.5 wide, the length was spot on but the width was narrower than I would of liked but workable for me as the width is loosening with use.

Very nice, serious back packing boots. They were too short in my usual size, though, with thick hiking socks.

I needed a waterproof hiking boot for wet, rainy Scotland. I've tried 11 different brands/pairs of hiking boots trying to find one that will fit my slightly narrow heel. Pricing was not a question. I was willing to spend to get a good fit. Even creative lacing and changing the insert wasn't doing it, I was still getting a lot of heel slippage. My last shot was the Lowa Renegade in a narrow. It seems to be the only hiking boot that comes in a narrow. It fit like a glove. The heel doesn't slip and there is plenty of room in the toe box. Let's hope they stand up to the abuse.

Probably the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve ever worn. Wore them around for two days to break them in but it felt like I’ve had them for years.

I am 6 feet 6 inches tall and usually wear a 14AA. With such narrow feet there are very few hiking boots that are even close. These are excellent boots for me, and only slightly too wide. Wearing thick socks should make them just right. The workmanship appears to be excellent.

This was purchased for a spare pair. These boots fit perfectly out of the box which is extremely wonderful for I have very narrow feet and these are worn probably 90% of the time. Very pleased that I found the Lowa boots and they are extremely well made as good as any that I have had made in the past.

Having a narrow foot, it is hard to find narrow boots (or shoes). The big stores just don't carry them. It is great to find a nice pair of boots that fits my feet so I don't have to wear extra thick sock to keep my feet from moving so much. These Lowa's fit great and look great. If you have a narrow foot, I highly recommend.

I'm a woman who switched to men's work boots about 6 months ago to accommodate my new orthotics (men's regular boots are wider than women's). I'm a butterfly gardener in the Midwest and need really decent work boots. These are German-made and worth the expense. After recovering from recent foot surgery, the post-op CAM boot triggered a flare-up of arthritis in my knee, making learning to walk again extremely painful. Both my surgeon and physical therapist were enthusiastic in my switching from the hated CAM boot to these while I continue recovering. They have room for my orthotics, good ankle support and I can control how tightly to lace them up. Thank God I had them already, and was happy to buy another pair in a different color!

The pair of boots I received in Men's 10.5 Narrow had the appearance of being previously worn. Soles were clean but the interior of the shoes was not, plus there was a scuff on one. And they were a little too short so had to return them anyway. However, the larger size (11 Narrow) fit great and seem like they will be comfortable. I look forward to wearing them.

I have narrow feet, so my options are unfortunately limited. These boots fit me perfectly, and they've stood up to many many miles of dirty, rocky, rough terrain without a problem.

Great fit for narrower feet. This is my second pair of Lowas, and they are the all time best hiking/winter boot around. My last pair lasted for years abroad with near-daily use in Peace Corps. Sized up to add an arch supporting insole for flat feet. Comfort right out of the box. These last for years and are an excellent investment.

These are the best boots I have ever had for serious backpacking. 40lb Pack in the desert, no blisters pure comfort with custom orthotics. I have a narrow foot and a high arch. With the custom orthotics hiking was a dream (If you can think of a 40 lb pack being dreamy.

I wear a narrow width looked for about two months on the internet thought everywhere until I found Lowa. Skeptical due to my hard to find feet size. I ordered the Renegade GTX Mid and when they came in two days they fit just PERFECT!!! Feet not sore or have fatigue at all. Just an amazing pair of boots. Total Comfort, Quality and Appearance is Wonderful. I recommend these to anyone that need shoes and or boots. Now know where to get future footwear!

I bought these because I was looking for a shoe with a larger toe box than an Asolo Newtron. I have wide flat feet. I put them on and they defiantly feel better in the toe area than the Asolo's I have worn Asolos for over 15 years and love the quality and longevity. So far I'm loving these Lowa GTX's. The only thing I'm worried about is the Asolo's have a rubber toe. This has saved me many times. we will see what the longevity is.

These replaced a size 12 that I’d bought/returned. I’m a true size 12, can run 1/2 size larger or smaller, yet I’ve habitually worn my shoes rather snug. I went for the 12 and soon realized they were indeed too snug after a thirteen mile hike. The 12.5 fits perfect with enough room for my feet to acclimate to longer hikes. Great comfort, makes me realize how badly I needed a quality boot/fit.
