Love these shoes! This is my second pair of these shoes, my first pair had to be replace by dansko after a year of wear. I love these shoes. I have other Danskos that are 38's, but with this kind you definitely need to size up for a great fit, I wear a 39 in these. They will take some time getting use to and breaking in, but in the end you'll love them too. It's the only shoe I'll wear for 10 hours straight at the hosptial.

Comfort - I have another stlye of dansko, but this is by far the most comfortable. I plan on buying several other pairs in different colors and I wish I could wear them with dresses...I think I can get away with casual dresses...they are the most comfortable shoe ever!

Watch out for the sizes - These shoes are wonderful when you get the correct size. They are extremely comfortable, your heel moves freely which makes the motion of walking in these shoes more natural. They also add two inches to your height! I'll buy them again only this time in a 39 instead of 38.

GOOD CLOGS, BUT NOT THE SAME OLD CLOGS - I already own two pairs of Danskos, one of them a nubuck version of this one, and in winter I often wear them with ultra-thick woolly socks. The fit is snug but doable. These clogs fit as well, they don't rub anywhere and the overall shape is identical. But they feel smaller than my old ones. Perhaps this is because the old ones are stretched out after eight years of faithful service, I don't know. But I expected these to be bigger and if I'd known how they fit I might have ordered the next size. As it was, I just started wearing them with very thin socks, and that worked out fine: I wore them around Rome on cobblestones for a week straight out of the box, with nary a blister or sore spot, and that tells you a lot. These Dansko clogs are great shoes.

Mom loved them! After getting a pair of the Oiled clogs, I got my mom a pair of the Professional Cabrios for Xmas. She loved them, and got a number of compliments when she wore them to Xmas dinner. She agees with me: they're very comfortable and beautifully made. I think I'll order a pair of the Cabrios to go with the Oiled clogs I already have. You know, I should have both the casual and the dressier versions.

Great shoes, watch sizing - Love this shoe! However I usually take a 37 and this shoe did not fit; 37 was too small and 38 was too large. (I wear a 7.5 shoe) Go figure! However its a great shoe for someone else!

Dansko - These shoes are excellent! I bought them strickly for a job that required long periods of standing, but because of their comfort, I wear them all the time. Great choice for anyone with feet problems.

GREAT shoe! Very comfortable and protective from the rain, snow and slush. I love them. I bought my daughter the blue ones and she loves hers as much as I do mine. Remember to water-proof. We had it done in the airport by the shoe shine guys. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Wear 'em all the time - They're my winter 'boot', look great w/boot cut jeans, and super comfortable for all day work.

Love My Shoes - The Dansko shoes that I ordered are very comfortable. I broke my foot this last summer, and had to have a pin put in it. These are the only shoes that I can wear that I get full range of motion in my foot, and are trendy to boot!

Best Value and Best Shoe! I wear these almost everyday, and when I don't, my feet miss them! They take a while, a good couple days walking around New York to break them in, but after that, you'll swear by them and want to join the Dansko cult. You won't be sorry! I'm a 6.5 and a 37 is the best fit. Make sure your toe does not touch the top of the shoe and you're golden.

Relief - I own 5 pairs of Dansko's and they are the most comfortable shoes. If you need to stand a lot, especially on concrete floors, these are the shoes for you.

Well worth the money!! I work on my feet all day, and these shoes are wonderful!! They give excellent support and at the end of the day, I am no longer as tired as I once was. They are great for your feet, legs, and back. If you work on your feet, get them! One tip...give yourself time to get used to them. Wear them for a few hours a day for a week so you get accustomed to them. Also, there should be a gap between the shoe and your heel...about the size of a finger...this is the way they should be...NO, they won't fall of your feet!

The Real Thing. I got my first patent leather shoes as a rite of passage. They were Buster Brown mary janes and I was in second grade. This was a big deal--it meant that I was a young lady and could be trusted not to run amuck in the hallways or climb trees at recess. Fast forward several decades... along the way I tried wedges, platforms, pointy toes, spike heels and slingbacks---- but when I discovered Danskos I knew it was the real thing. My favorite shoe, only one problem: kind of clunky and funky, so what to wear with my polished navy blue suit, the one I put on when I need to look serious and put together? Ah, the joy of finding not just a navy blue Dansko, but a PATENT leather one at that!!!! Everything has come full circle.

...As much as I ADORED the look of them-they're quite the groove-they were never comfortable. I wore them anyway, but was always in pain by the end of the day. They never conformed to my foot the way I had hoped, there was little arch support, the leather never softened, and they were always a pain to get on and off.

Where Have These Been All My Life? I work trade shows several times a year and had always wondered if these might give me the relief that I needed on those long days. So I spotted a mom on my son's wrestling team casually wearing these with jeans and asked her how she liked them...oh, she raved on and on. She convinced me to take the leap and make the investment. I am so glad she did. These are perfect and can be as fashionable as you'd like to make them: a cute cardigan, collared shirt, jeans and a pair of argyle stop. Nerd-A-Nista meets Fashionista! Don't second guess them...do it!

Rockin' red - I'm officially a Dansko fanatic and love the professional patent in claret. They are very comfortable and fun. Someone even referred to them as 'sexy' although that may be pushing it. Only drawback is that they're a little tighter over the bridge and slower to stretch than the natural leather ones I've previously purchased.

Feels wonderful under foot and cushions with every step! The toe box is accommodating to wide feet but the instep collar put a lot of pressure on the top of my foot and was very restrictive for the first few wears. I love this classic clog style and would prefer a deeper treading option on the sole for outdoors. I purchased this shoe to wear as a commuter shoe so I am concerned that the treading will wear faster. I am still delighted with my clogs and enjoy wearing them on my travels through NYC's concrete jungle!

Tight on top of foot - I LOVE the look of the black patent Danskos, but so far they continue to hurt my foot. I'm hoping they'll stretch out at my regular black ones have and be more comfortable. So far they are really bothering (too tight) the top of my foot bone on my left foot.

Not quite my tennies, but better looking - I'm always looking for work shoes that are like wearing my running shoes but look professional. I have worn Danskos in the past but these are more stylish. I got several compliments the first time I wore them. I love the look and they are comfortable. They took a time or two to break in, my outside toes were sore the first time but that resolved. For a really long day I would still put on running shoes but these work great for an 8 hour day. Comfortable to stand in, maybe not as good if you really walk long distances (1-2 miles) during a work day.

This shoe is awesome! Their super comfortable and look amazing. They go with everything and deliver a beach/surf bum kind of look. Zappos service is amazing. The shoes got here so quickly it’s awesome.

Cute shoes but squeaky - These are my second pair of Danskos. I chose them for their arch support. I got patent for a more professional look. The look great with casual clothes as well as dress pants for work. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I have only two issues. First is that they squeak when I walk (probably the patents fault). Also if I step down wrong the shoe will cause me to overturn my ankle which I believe is because my feet are so narrow and the shoe isn't very tight on the top of the foot. It can be remedied with thick socks though. All in all I still love Danskos.
