These were comfortable & lightweight when I first tried them on but after briefly walking around in them, I was anxious to take them off. They are not as rounded in the front as say the Ecco Chase tied shoe, and they feel like they squish the sides of my feet up near the toes. Although you can loosen or tighten the basic fit via the elastic and toggle that rests on the top of your foot it still didn't permit a good fit. The sole is not very padded, so for me they didn't work out. I really wish Ecco would bring back more rounded toe boxes (sneakers and casual shoes) & the more padded soles they were famous for.

A very attractive shoe I like the style a lot. Shoe runs very small and toe box is low. My usual size does not accommodate my orthotics with insoles removed. I couldn't judge its comfort and arch support accurately because it was so much too small. I will not reorder larger because it would be impossible to keep clean and the look would be ruined by dirt and scuffs.
I'd also recommend:

I've had Eccos before and they were very comfortable. This shoe is very narrow, and doesn't offer any cushiony support. It feels flimsy and cheaply made.

I wear a size 7 and always take a 37 in Ecco shoes. I swim in their size 38's. These shoes fit perfectly. The problem was that they were not comfortable. There is not much padding in the sole and no arch support. I put them on and I felt lumps in the sole. I don't know where they were coming from. I switched out the insoles with my own insoles and the shoes felt much better but because the toe box is so shallow the pressure on my big toe was uncomfortable and so regretfully they must go back.

Disappointed in this shoe. FAR too small, even though I ordered half a size larger than usual. Very uncomfortable. Shame...cute shoe but not very wearable. Returning.

Returned as this shoe ran way too large. It was floating on my foot. Purchasing size 4 or 4.5 is difficult to start with, I'd appreciate the manufacturer to represent the sizing correctly. I was really looking to replace my Naot Papua which is discontinued. I’ve purchased other Naots but not the same. They seem heavier than the Papua shoe so I tried this shoe. It is lightweight and that's a positive. Just order a size smaller. Unfortunatley for me there is no smaller size. This was my initial impression before deciding there was no way to keep this shoe on my foot: This Ecco Shoe closely matched lightweight and sole style of Shoe I’m looking for but the shoe size runs quite large.

Too narrow. I had a similar pair of slip on Eccos and loved them, alas, these are much narrower and less arch support, so will have to find another brand. Used to love Ecco.

I bought these for a trip to San Francisco. I wanted something stylish and comfy to run around the city in. However, they gave me horrible blisters on the back of my foot before I even got on the plane! Also, they are rather flimsy and don't have the absorbing gel-like bottom that several other styles of Eccos have. I'm typically a 12M and these were tight to begin with, so wearing them with even thin socks was not an option to ease my blisters. I ultimately just flipped the back of the shoe down and wore them like a slipper. My jeans were so long, no one could tell and I still got compliments on how stylish they were! However, I was extremely disappointing that I shelled out more money on these. Even if they had fit better, the quality did not seem worth it.

I love ECCO shoes and this one is super cute, but unfortunately it's too small on my size 11 foot. Also there is a small rip on the shoes, but it really doesn't matter since it is small for me.

I really wish the Ecco brand fit me. I've never been able to wear their shoes because the 4.5 is really a 5.5 in all other shoe brands.

This shoe is way lighter than I expected. I have enjoyed another Ecco walking shoe (no longer on the market) for 2 years, and was hoping to replace it. This model is much flimsier, and won't provide me with enough support.
