I have a narrow foot and need good arch support for my daily walking routine. This is my 4th pair of these shoes and they are wonderful.

This is a great shoe for my narrow foot. The elastic tie and toggle system makes adjusting the fit easy. Very comfortable, cushioned insole, and just enough sole thickness to provide cushioning for walking without looking clunky. I bought the warm gray metallic and it is a shiny goldish color but not exceptionally loud or shiny -- actually it is quite neutral and will go with a lot of colors. I am wearing the shoes with a thin sock right now (it is still cold here) but will wear barefoot when the weather gets warmer (maybe with a ped liner but there is no sign that the inside of the shoe will rub). Highly recommend the shoe for those with narrow feet -- it is also flattering on longer feet.

Love these little shoes, so much so that I have them in two colors. I walked all over Europe in them. Eccos run big so I always know to order a size down. My foot also runs on the narrow side.

Would love to keep this, but just doesn't work with my tender big toe (hallux rigidus). nice look, nice everything except just a bit too tight on my impacted foot.

I liked the style. The length of the shoe felt too long.

Nice and flat for wanting to not be taller than my BF! And so very cute and make my size 11s look small. I always hope for a high arch, and these do not fit that bill, but the cuteness outweighs that, just can't wear them for long long walking or long periods of time. They are also JUST FITTING my size11, if 11.5 existed I may have been better to do that, but NEVER an 11.5 (sadness).

I normally buy a size 40 in European shoes as I'm a pretty true size 9 American. But these were too big. It does say on the box 40 - 9-9.5. So, you may want to try a 39 in these.

I may be returning this Shoe however it is exactly what I’m looking for in weight—it’s very lightweight and comfort. It’s just too big for my size 4/4.5 US, 35 EU foot. If you have a wide foot it may fit well as extra toe room is not a bad thing. The shoes are swimming on me and would need lots of moleskin padding.

Shoe but not a lot of sole padding for the walking I intended to. Not enough room to add pads. Also seam on the back on top gave me a blister on the heel

Absolutely love this shoe. It is great looking and sturdy enough to be a good walking shoe. Great to take on travels. This is my third pair. I think they might last forever but get a little smelly after a couple of years- are washable Love I can still find

Great looking shoe and very light weight which makes them good for travel. I travel on business and need a shoe for the elliptical, bike and treadmill that won't take up too much space or weight down my carry on bag. The Ecco quality is fantastic. For those interested, these will take a custom orthotic.

I bought these shoes to go to Italy in April. They are cute and comfortable without looking like regular tennis shoes. They are slightly narrow but the elastic toggle allows for that. I wish there was more cushion in the heel, but we'll see how they do.

Looking for a tennis shoe that doesn't look too much like a tennis shoe. This fits the bill, but it just doesn't offer the support I need. Actually a nice looking shoe.

First of all I LOVE Zappos! I have a very hard foot to fit...however, I tried the 42 and 43 in this shoe and the toe box is very narrow. I am sad to say that I will have to return the shoe. I found the length true to size but just too narrow in the toe area.

Love the look of the shoe. No comment on arch support since I use orthotics which did fit. Had to get size larger than Ecco sandals that also allow exchange to orthotics. Enough space for bunion in toe box.

I thought these shoes were pretty cute and flattering for an athletic style. I have very high arches/insteps so I was skeptical whether these would fit, since they are essentially a slip-on shoe (they don't have a tongue under the laces, it's all one piece). I was pleasantly surprised that the shoes fit me fairly well if I loosened the laces. However, I also wear orthotics and once I replaced the very thin removable insoles they were much too tight. These shoes are probably best for low to normal arches.

I have another pair of Eccos in a 40, but the 40s of this shoe were just a bit too small. The 41s were a bit roomier than I'm use to, which I attribute to the fact that there's not much cushion or padding on the inside. I spent a while trying to find insoles that would give more cushion, but they were all too wide as the shoe's sole is constructed rather narrowly. Ultimately, I gave up on replacing the insole and have gotten used to the feeling on the inside. They are very comfortable, even if not what I'm used to. Style is a 4 instead of a 5 because the elastic tab that tightens the shoe has to be folded down under the lacing part in order to not look ridiculous, and sometimes it un-tucks itself, and sticks out, looking far less sleek than when tucked.

Love tthe look of the shoe but sizing a little off. normally wear 39 in ECCO brand but his style seemed a little long for a 39 and 38 was too short. also narrow across toe box. Disappointing, since my ECCOs are usually sooo comfortable.

Yes, this is a lightweight, stylish shoe for what it is, but I think that it does not provide much stability or support as some others. I also think it runs a bit large. You might need a size smaller as you would probably not wear a sock with this shoe.

I normally wear a size 6 and ordered the 37 in this shoe as recommended. The 37 was much too big, so I ordered a 36, which fit fine until I replaced the insoles with my orthotics. The orthotics apparently raised my heels just enough that the shoes slipped and rubbed, so I am returning them, too. The shoes are very soft and flexible, so I’m not sure they would provide enough support and cushioning for a full day of shopping or sightseeing, and they certainly wouldn’t be suitable for unpaved, uneven ground. But they are cute and comfortable (without the orthotics!) and would probably be fine for more moderate use around town.

I really wanted these to work because they would have been perfect for travel. Unfortunately the soft material in the heel made it difficult for my foot to stay in the shoe without tying the toggle laces extra tight - which then left a lot of extra hanging laces. Also- the shoe runs 1/2 size larger than marked which is unusual for a European shoe. I am returning them.

I have an earlier version of these shoes which I adore and have nearly worn to pieces. My desire to replace them ended badly. My old pair was a 36 and although Zappos recommended buying the 37 (for some unknown reason) I ordered the 36. They were HUGE!! And frankly, the fit and finish of this pair seems of lesser quality than the first pair. The earlier model hid the toe-side lace under a bit of leather for a clean look. The upper lace came lower down on the foot allowing a snug inner liner to smoothly grip the foot. The leather appeared to be a better quality in the earlier version. All that said, if I hadn't seen the first model and could find a pair in my size, I would purchase these again. The sole on the new model looks like it has much better grip than the flatter sole of the old one. My request of Ecco....stop messing with perfection! And, do you have any old models in the warehouse? I'm ready to buy!

Bummer, these are too narrow for my foot. I wear an 11 1/2 in athletic shoes and I ordered the equivalent in these shoes. These were barely ok with no socks or orthotics in. Adding one or the other into the mix would have made them way too tight. Loved the look of them though.
