This is my first pair of Keens and I love them! I was looking for a walking shoe that wasn't brightly colored or orthopedic looking, that I could wear every day. The Toyah isn't padded like a walking shoe, but it's still comfortable and much more stylish. I appreciate the muted, monochromatic colors (I got "slate black" which is actually a beautiful dark brown) and I wear them everywhere. The wide toe box is perfect for me, but the rest of the shoe is a bit too wide, so I just wear thick socks to compensate. Although they have a decent insole with better arch support than lots of other shoes, I replaced them with my usual orthotics, which I started using after having problems with plantar fasciitis a few years ago. All in all, a great shoe for casual wear. And Zappos' service can't be beat!

I selected and bought this shoe for comfort and walking while traveling. This was a great find and buy! It is very comfortable, and looks great with jeans, I would buy it all over again.

I've been a Keen snob for 10 years now, I used to buy cheap fashion shoes that eventually started hurting my feet and giving me corns/bunions. Once I bought my first pair of Keens I've never worn anything else. This shoe is what I consider to be the "classic Keen" style. I've tried some of the other styles but like this one the best for my wide feet. Keen makes a quality shoe and as long as they keep making shoes in the classic style, I'll keep buying them. I get compliments all the time on all my Keens. Thank you, and Zappos is the best place to shop online.

I love the sandals, and I find these very good for the winter. My only complaint is that they are a little stiff. The arch support is excellent and they have helped me with my plantars.

I love these shoes. Everything was as represented in the specs except that the color "madder brown" is a dark red, not brown (but it looked like a red on my computer, so I wasn't surprised). I wear a size 7.5-8. Based on other reviews, I went with the 8 and it is roomy enough to wear with thick socks. I especially like the wide toe bed and the arch support. I've gone for a couple walks and my feet felt great afterwards, like they've been massaged. Never got that feeling from a shoe before!

Great shoe. Very comfy right from the start. I do a lot of walking and it really works for that.

This is my first pair of Keens but hopefully not my last. I really like these, just what I was looking for. I have received compliments on them too. I like how they make my feet look smaller and cute while being comfortable. I have to add though that I had to get a larger size than normal. I usually take an 8 or even a 7 1/2 occasionally, but I had to get an 8 1/2 here. The toe box is wide but not overly long. I tried these on in a local store before buying from Zappos. Also first time using Zappos and that also won't be my last!

Huge Keen fan, and these did not disappoint. Was looking for a smaller shoe to walk around Madrid and Seville without having to pack larger hiking shoe. Great fit out of the box. Roomy toe. A little rub around ankles at first, but stretched nicely with a couple of wears. Wore walking every day for a week, without problem. Warm and kept feet dry in light rain. Looks sporty, can wear to work and stand for 10 hours in comfort. My new favorite Keen shoes.

If you love Keen sandals this is the shoe for you! I live in my Keen Mary Janes most of the year and I needed a winter shoe. I usually wear an 8.5/9 C width. I ended up with a 9 1/2 Medium in this shoe. My orthotic won't fit but this shoe doesn't need it because it really has substantial arch support (more like Chaco than Keen). Sturdy tread and lace up for tough Ohio winters! Tried on a whole box of Keens from Zappos to get to this one. Thank goodness for free shipping/returns.

I really liked the Keen Toyah: great style, but it was just too narrow. Seems to be narrower than medium width. I ordered 5½ and it seemed a half size smaller. Had to return them. I would order a half size larger and wider if they carried them in wide. The arch felt great.

I love this shoe. I usually wear a size 8, but Keen tends to run a little small. I am diabetic and can't stand anything tight on my feet, so I ordered a size 9. They fit well with thick socks.

I am new to Keen shoes and I plan to stay with them. It is the most comfortable shoe ever! I had to search to find this older color. I love them so much I plan to order more colors.

I got my shoes right away (in 2 days). Based on the other on line reviews, I ordered up. I usually wear an 8 or 9, and wish I had gotten the 8 instead. Very comfortable shoes; I work in them every day and overall I'm happy with the purchase. They are not a "stylish" shoe, but anyone who wears them knows it's for comfort, not style. Wish I had ordered both sizes then sent back the pair I didn't want to keep!

Love them. I ordered the Presidio style. They looked too much like a sneaker (because of the grey band at the bottom). I returned them for this style and love them. I ordered the color Madder Brown, which does not have the grey band at the bottom.

Comfortable right out of the box. Very roomy toe. Comfortable foot bed. Great heel and arch support. I ordered a half size up based on other reviews and they fit great!

These shoes are terrific! I\'ve always loved Keen shoes and Zappos have an awesome collection of Keens. This is also the first time I\'ve ordered from Zappos, and it was the best shopping experience. Keep up the great work.

I bought the Toyah Urban Chic, and like another reviewer I thought the color would be gray but it is definitely more green (even sort of bluish green). Whatever color it is I liked it anyway. The first pair I ordered cut into my ankle on one foot but Zappos sent out another pair right away and they fit perfectly. With free shipping, it was a painless exchange. I should also note that I marked this shoe as feeling a half size smaller than marked but it has been my experience that all Keens are sized wrong. I wear 7 in every other brand I ever try but always 7 1\/2 in Keens.

I purchased this shoe in the urban chic color which online looks grey. When it arrived it was actually more of a slate blue color. Not sure where the issue is with accurate color depiction, but on several pairs of Keen shoes, the colors are not the same as what you see online. This shoe also runs about a 1/2 size larger than most of my other Keen shoes (about 8-10 pairs). Other than color and size, the shoe is very comfortable and stylish. Of course I had to return the first pair and as usual Zappos has outstanding service.

This is my second pair of Keens and I love them! My feet are a bit wide, and these shoes provide plenty of space and are super comfortable. They felt good right from the start - no break-in time was needed. I just wish they came in lighter colors, too.

These are awesome, comfortable shoes with lots of arch support. I stand all day and my feet still feet good after a 10 hr day. The color listing says black but they are brown. I saw another person commented on the color listed as black as well, but I choose them because of the potential of being dark brown, which they are. Size runs true as well. The toe is wide which is what I need.

I purchased these shoes to wear to India. I was attracted to the neutral colors offered in this style. After 18 days on tour with lots of walking and stair climbing my feet were always comfortable even after a long day. I have had several pairs of Keens and went up a half size and it was perfect even for my wider foot. This is a shoe I will order again before it is gone.

I have extremely hard feet to satisfy - diabetic, among other things. Keen shoes are shaped like FEET! This is my 3rd pair of Keens (other two are Presidios) and they are WONDERFUL. A bit stiff so am wearing them around the house, then will wear them out and about. Considered winter shoes but I wear them year around. Thank you, Keen! Zappos is the way to go!

I purchased these shoes about a month ago and just love them. They are very comfortable, but run approximately a half size small. Lots of arch support with lots of toe room. Best of all there was no breaking in required. Thank you Zappos and love your quick turn around and customer support!

The Keens seem to be changing. The toe is a little narrower than it used to be. Going to size 9 see if it works.

It's too soon to say how long these shoes will last (friends of my who've had Keens in the past found they were about average in terms of durability) - but this pair - the Keen Toyah - seem very well made. They have great arch support, grippy soles, and the leather inner feels high quality. Keen had toned down its signature rubber bulge on the big toe, which I'm personally grateful for; I'm not planning on rock climbing in these shoes and earlier Keens often had me feeling like spotting an SUV in the mall parking lot - out of place. I happen to love the unusual blue leather too - it goes well with jeans without being too boring. Overall, I'm very happy with these shoes.
