This is the second pair of these I've bought from Keen. They are awesome boots, break in quickly and are quite comfortable.

They were pretty comfortable out of the box. I like the wide toe box. Color is great. Not thrilled with the lace hooks. They are very tight making lacing a bit challenging. Ill have to bend them to open them to open them up a bit more to make lacing easier. Hoping for the price they last a while. That will be the real test for me.

These boots are extremely comfortable. The wider toe box make a lot of difference in this boot compared to others I have worn. It is not an overall wide boot but you have room for you toes to move. Have not been in water conditions yet so I can't really speak to the waterproof capabilities. That's why I only gave 4 stars.

Boots were fine on shorter (<5mile) hikes. But on longer hikes and especially on steep hikes the back cut into my Achilles tendon at the top of the boot. This might just be due to my foot shape, but it does seem that there is very little padding in the back top of boot.

Love these Pyrenees shoes, I'm on my 3rd pair and while I've had some reliability issues with them they are still a very light weight, comfortable shoe. I work on a farm 12 hours a day and really need a shoe that is all leather and also waterproof and this shoe fits the bill.

These are comfortable and no time to break-in the boots.I wear a size 10.5, with these boots if I wear regular nylon socks then I would have to get a size 10, with my thicker wool socks it fits right, so keep that in mind as you to what size you shall get based on the socks you will wear with them. I got the olive green boots, the color you see in the pictures to what is reality is a big difference i.e. it is a much darker. For me it is perfectly fine. Lacing up takes a bit to get used to but again easy. Overall build quality and finish is nice. I am not a hiker, I use these as everyday walk/work boots in NYC. We shall see how they wear over the next few years.

Got my boots 2 weeks ago. Pulled them out of the box this past weekend only to find on the back of the right shoe is a color flaw as if the shoe was scrubbed and the color rubbed off! There's also areas on both shoes where it looks flimsy and like they've been worn already! When I pay $170 for a pair of shoes I expect quality. Also, i don't appreciate having to wait on getting a replacement after you receive the flawed shoe back. I planned on using these boots in my upcoming hiking trek. These shoes should've never been sent out before being inspected. Poor quality, poor customer service

I like the comfort and protection these provide to my ankles. I can wear them for hours without any fatigue. I'm especially fond of the speed lacing hooks which make lacing up our taking then of a breeze. I will buy these again.

My first pair came unglued in several places - Keen was very easy to deal with on the replacement - so far these have been great & hopefully will stay that way! I wear them mostly on old logging roads in SE AK

First off, the boots are super comfortable and they perform well in all terrain, waterproof, and tons of support. The problem started when the soles started becoming delaminated from the leather uppers (in less than a month). I contacted Keen and got them replaced.... Keen return policy does not replace the boot, but issues "store credit" for the cost of the boot, which is nice because you got can choose whatever shoe you want... it is not nice because it only covers the cost of the shoe. They still wanted me to pay for shipping. I felt this was a problem because I just wanted a pair of boots that wasn't falling apart. I was still being charged for shipping. I did not feel that I should have to pay anything since I purchased these boots based on the Keen name and off my experience from at least 10 years of Keen footwear ownership. I knew this brand to be very well built and durable, able to stand up to everything I do. Let it be noted that I had only worn these boots in town and had not done any serious hikes on rugged terrain. After some back and forth, they waived the shipping fee and I got my new boots. The new boots also began to fail within a couple weeks. I go over these things about once every month with shoe goo just trying to keep them together. They have made it through a few local hikes and still remain comfortable. I would not be confident to take them backpacking or overlanding. I wouldn't want to be a couple days from civilization with boots that cannot keep themselves together. I hope Keen does better in the future. These boots look good, feel good, and seem like they could be really great, but they are lacking... big-time
