Pretty sandals but as I walked across the room, the shoe worked my toes forward to hang out. Unwearable; had to return even though everything else worked for me.

This sandal did not work for me. Ordered half size up as previous reviewers recommended, and that was the correct thing to do. I am a true 8M -- ordered sandal in 8.5M. Length was fine. Width was fine. It was the construction of the shoe that didn't work. I liked the built up sides to cover my bunion, and leather was soft. Loved the black leather with the cork bottom. But the back strap is not adjustable. Only the 2 front straps adjust. A back strap is fairly useless on any sandal if it's not adjustable to hold the sandal on your foot. Also, because this is not a platform sandal, my foot slipped forward with each step until my toes actually were hanging off the front of the shoe. Tightening toe strap didn't help because the tight toe strap then rubbed my toes and would have caused blisters. In my opinion, this shoe needs a bit of design tweaking--needs a bit higher platform in front part of sandal and perhaps a slightly turned-up toebox to prevent feet from sliding forward. Definitely needs an adjustable back strap. Without that, you may as well buy a slide sandal. If you want to give it a try, order one half size up because it does run short. May work best for wide feet and for someone who does not have my narrow ankles.

I'm returning the Bolivia. I really love SoftWalk's eggcrate footbed. However, I haven't had any luck finding a style that I like in a very long time. The Bolivia looks clunky on my feet. I want something prettier with the great footbed.

I was very disappointed in this sandal. I have several pairs of shoes of this brand and they have always fit great and the quality was great. These sandals, however, were too small and 2 of the straps across the foot had very rough places which I'm sure would irritate my foot. I won't give up on SoftWalk because I've been very pleased in the past. I don't what went wrong here but they are unwearable in this style.

I've had these sandals for 3 years. These are the only sandals that have EVER fit my grotesquely wide duck feet! And they are very comfortable. However, I so wish the strap was a buckle instead of velcro because the velcro NEVER stays! Unfortunately, I'm only willing to put up with these sandals on the hottest days because they're so hard to deal with, so I don't wear them often. Disappointing for a $100 pair of sandals. Today it's 90 degrees out, so I am wearing them and decided to count the number of times I had to stop to restrap on my way to work (a 0.9 mile walk). The count is 7 times. Very frustrating. But again, they're the only sandals that have ever fit my feet, so I have to give them credit there. It's also the only reason I haven't been anxious to seek out new sandals even though I kind of hate these sandals.

I had to send these back because, while the shoe fit, the back strap is not adjustable and pushed my toes over the front of the shoe. I liked the style but knew after walking around in them that the toes issue would become a real problem.

I also could not keep this shoe on my foot. Felt so soft and I quickly put the shoes on hopped on the hotel elevator.
Outside the elevator I took about 20 steps slipping and sliding around in the shoes, just as I had read on a previous review, which just didn't make sense. I don't get it but these shoes just don't work in action. Very disappointed.

I was hoping these would fit my left foot specifically as it is recovering from a Jones fracture. I agree with another reviewer, my foot slipped past the end of the shoe. That was so disappointing.

These shoes are not what they used to be. They pitch my feet forward and cannot be worn. I have several other pairs and I think these are being made somewhere new, hence the fit.

So comfy the first few times you wear it, but that goes away quickly.
The fit is strange as the heel strip is not adujustable. THe main strap felt like i could never get it tight enough, so my foot slipped a bit. Very annoying.
The cork paper on the bottom is just a thin overlay and fell apart part way through the summer. Zappos, of course, wonderful company that it is sent a replacment pair the next day after I contacted them.
I wouldn't order them again or recommend them.

The first time I wore this sandals my feet turned into a bloody mess. The Velcro across the top of the shoes rubbed on the top of my feet and there was no adjusting the straps to make it stop. I don't know if it was a manufacturing flaw on this particular pair, or a design flaw, but buyer beware!

I stupidly wore these for the first time to a golf tournament. After only 40 minutes of walking I discovered the straps across my insteps were wearing a hole through my skin. I had to go to the First Aid station to get some large bandages so I could continue walking. I wish I could give these sandals to someone else but I'm afraid the same thing could happen to them. So these shoes will go in the trash.

Although the sandal was the same length as other sandals I own, my toes were hanging over the edge. That back strap pushes your foot forward, no matter how tight you have the Velcro strips. All the room the toes need ends up in the back of the heel. Too bad, because the style was fine, the footbed was very comfy and the width was great for my EE feet.

My foot is very narrow and long, so I always have trouble finding shoes that fit. This shoe was an excellent fit-the velcro did not hang over too far when I got it tight enough. The only problem was the quality of the material, which began to lose it's 'flocking' within three weeks of purchase. Zappos was very nice about refunding my money, but I was sad that a pair of shoes that fit did not last!

This is such a nice looking shoe. However, the front strap rubs on the big toe and is very rough underneath. I only had the shoe on a few minutes and had a red mark.

Apparently, Softwalk has taken a page from the food manufacturer's playbook, and reduced the size while keeping the price high - thinking their customers would not notice! I have extremely wide feet, and though it is ugly, usually depend on good old Bolivia in EE as a summer walking sandal. I have 4 pairs at the moment. My old ones were looking worn, and I wanted some new colors, so I reordered. The new ones just didn't quite feel wide enough, so I started checking. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I got out the old ones. Sure enough! The new EE is about 1/4 inch narrower than it used to be. There are even fewer stitches on the back of the shoe where they sew the rubber onto the base. I hope the Softwalk marketing folks read their reviews and realize that customers are smarter than they think we are, and now this one is very unhappy. Shame on Softwalk! This shoe should be re-labeled as a D width.

This is the first shoe I've tried on that fit everywhere except in the front. It was too short, and I couldn't adjust the straps in a way that would keep my foot back. I am sending them back.

The worst shoe I have seen in a long time. I cannot imagine the foot that would fit into this shoe. The angles of the straps are all wrong. The lack of an adjustable back makes the foot slide forward. The looked so nice but the fit was just terrible.
