The back of the shoe is high though and cut into my heel the first week or so until the leather softened up. The are much more comfortable now. Look great too.

Love these shoes. This is my fourth or fifth pair of Sambas. Comfy, durable shoes!

The only shoes I wear, these things are classic. They squeak a little bit, but if you file down the top margins of the tongue it\'s fine.

I really like these shoes, they look very cool, and are rather comfortable. To me they are the quintessential urban shoes and not over-the-top visually, kinda minimalist design, yet comfortable, I like how I can slip them on without messing with the lace. They are still a bit squeaky, I am guessing that that will cease soon, Zappos gave me a surprise with super-fast shipping, so that was nice. I would definitely buy another pair.

Love 'em. They are super comfortable and really cool looking. I spend most of the day on my feet during work. As long as you're moving, they are fantastic. I wouldn't recommend them to someone who has to spend a lot of time just standing, as they don't have a lot of cushion. I'd definitely buy them again.

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend\'s birthday. Other websites were selling similar ones with a different logo color. He owned a pair before, but he liked this particular pair because the shoe tongue was shorter, making it more comfortable. This simple design makes the shoes easy to match any outfit, especially shorts, since they were made for indoor soccer shoes.

Bought these for my husband, he loves them! Great quality and Zappos was super helpful and friendly. When I ordered the wrong size, they sent me another pair right out!

I forgot the noise (squeak) that they make when they're still fresh! The leather version, nice color. I never had these in all black. I ordered the and they felt 1 full size smaller than I was expecting. Even after replacing it by half a size larger, it still feels very tight, compared to the Spezial (which is the same shoe, only made out of synthetic material, not leather).

The Addidas Samba is an attractive, comfortable shoe that, in my case, is true to size. I like the look because it is not bulky looking like other sneakers.

These shoes are great! They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. I am 6 months pregnant and have worn these everyday, and have not had any pain in my feet. They ran true to size for me.

Very fast shipping! Product arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. The shoes are made of stiff leather and run a little narrow. Thus, it took a couple of days before they started to break in and become more comfortable. Now that they are, I love them! Great shoes. I would highly recommend them both for athletic and casual wear.

I've always wanted a pair of Adidas Sambas, and thanks to Zappos great selection and prices I was sold. These shoes are quite nice, but the only thing I recommend is that you wear socks with it because they make your feet sweat if you wear them without socks. Otherwise, they go great with jeans and a t-shirt and are very comfortable.

Great pair of shoes. I was looking for something to replace my Puma Romas, but Puma has gone too European-looking for me. So I got these and have been pleased. The sole seems better than the Pumas and the comfort is about the same - which is to say very comfortable. They are a bit tighter, but that is because the leather needs to stretch a bit. I’d recommend these to a friend and likely buy them again in 5 years.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. They look great, can be worn with semi-casual dress, even a sport coat and will take miles of walking. Perfect for a trip into NYC.

These shoes are great. They were a little squeaky when I first started wearing them but once I broke them in the squeaking stopped. They are really comfortable and go just about with any outfit. They definitely are a classic and well worth the money. Fast shipping too!

I was really surprised by how the shoe formed to my foot perfectly the first time I put it on. Being a retired soccer player, I long for a shoe that fit me as well and as comfortably as my cleats did. They run a little smaller than most people think, so just make sure you get the right size. Sambas offer comfortable support for your feet and ankles, and minimal breaking in annoyances. A great shoe for athletes and fashionistas alike.

I love Zappos speedy delivery! Got these the next day in excellent condition. It is true that the shoe is stiff, VERY stiff. I’ve been wearing them for four hours and they’re still very much stiff. The back of your foot where it meets the shoe will be very sore and painful for a few days I suspect. My left foot is nearly flat and I haven’t had problems yet today, but I suspect I will need to buy insoles (Superfeet). The tongue is also stiff at first, but it hasn’t hurt the front of my ankle as much as the back. I am a size 5.5-6 women’s and size 4 kids and men (kids sizes are sized to men’s sizes). I ordered a size 4 and it fits well. I am a girl and these shoes are hard to pull off without looking like a soccer player all the time, but I like them. Comfortable (aside from the back of the shoe - which will probably be better over time).

True to size, fits a narrow foot well. I use for weightlifting-squats/leg day. Really stiff shoe, requires break in and I am not there just yet, not quite as comfortable as a pair of old Puma shoes they replaced but will give it some time.

As a few reviews mentioned, the tongue squeaked for a few days but quiets down after some wear. Other than that, they're great!

Very comfortable after breaking in. Initial discomfort in the heal/achilles tendon area due to high rear section on shoe. Protect area from blisters for first week of wearing. Shoes squeak when new. Rub small amount of hand lotion to the tongue and inside or shoe where tongue rubs to stop squeaking. Needed 12.5 but Adidas doesn't make half sizes above 12.

This is a great pair of shoes. Adidas fit a tad tight on me as I usually wear wider shoes but that hasn't stopped me from wearing them around town. If I wore them for running or working out it would be a detractor.
